Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much influence the application of puzzle props by using demonstration methods to student’s learning motivation on learning mathematics in SD / MI. This research is a quantitative research, using One Shot Case Study design. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. Subjects in this study were all students of grade IV-1 MI An-Nur Cirebon City which amounted to 38 students. The technique of data analysis used in this research is questionnaires test, determination test and Coefisient Regression Test. Based on regression test results, it is found that the significance value of 0.000. So that the significance value is smaller than 0.05 and t arithmetic of 6,608 is greater than t table of 2.03011, then Ho is rejected. This means that the application of puzzle props by using demonstration method on learning mathematics have a significant influence to student's learning motivation in class IV MI An-Nur Cirebon City.

Abstract

Empirical evidence explained the current changes in teaching and learning due to the coronavirus pandemic, especially in Indonesia. This study investigates factors of self-efficacy and the impacts on online learning in one university in Indonesia. In this research, the theory of social cognitive integration is used in the online learning process. This type of quantitative research with an online questionnaire tool was applied to collect data from 156 students. The data were analyzed using the Structure equation modeling (SEM) approach proposed using the Lisrel software. This study shows the significance of self-efficacy in finishing online learning and self-efficacy in interacting during online learning. The impacts are seen in terms of comfortability and self-awareness of students to attend online learning. On the other hand, the effect of social interaction in online learning is categorized as an insignificant factor statistically to influence the subject's intentions. The conditions of solving the obstacles and handling the features in the learning management system (LMS) are essential to achieving success in online learningFrom the research results, self-efficacy factors have a positive impact on the implementation of e-learning and instructor support helps overcome technical obstacles. Moreover, this study contributes to the implementation and guidance of students behaviours to increase success in online learning.

Abstract

Profesionalization of Education Management is a strategic sector in developing quality of education as an effort for improving the human resource in the era of millennium developmental goals. On the other hand, Indonesia has low competitiveness caused by low of quality of human resource. Whereas education and educator, educational staff, and institutional management are spearhead in developing quality of human resource. In general, the objective of this research is to formulate a calculation method of performance accountability as an application of principles and theory of strategic management on education activity in IAIN Syekh Nurjati. The method used in this research is non-experimental quantitative research, namely analytical descriptive method. The conclusion of this research are (1) Calculation method of performance accountability used by IAIN Syekh Nurjati refer to recent rules. From point of view of strategic management theory, the two models have a low analysis accuracy. (2) Performance accountability of activity, program, and policy in institutional management of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, all of them are very successful category. (3) Formulation of calculation method of perfomance accountability of IAIN Syekh Nurjati refer to theory of strategic management which in line with characteristics of Strategic Planning of IAIN Syekh Nurjati 2015-2019 and is inaccordance with UNESCO new paradigm of higher education institution (World Declaration on Higher Education for the Twenty First Century: Vision and Action) which is made as reference of new concept of higher education institution development in Indonesia. (4) In management of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon, it’s relation are very strong, strong, very strong, and very strong. Further more there are several recommendations, namely (1) On calculation of perfermance accountability for IAIN Syekh Nurjati needed calculation of degree of relationship or influence between policy variables, program, and activity as variables of strategic implementation. (2) Phase of model of strategic management should be agreed by concerning people and decided by people who have jurisdiction to be made as reference and together commitment. (3) For certain faculties, institute, or educational institution at local, regional, or national level it is necessary to appoint a strategic management commitee responsible for developing “Statement of Best Practices” Key Words: Management, Accountability, Performance

Abstract

TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE IN THE PREPARATION OF CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH FOR ALMA ASY SYAUQI BILINGUAL ISLAMIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS, CIREBON CITY. Training and Assistance in the Preparation of Classroom Action Research for Bilingual IT Elementary School Teachers Alma Asy Syauqi, Cirebon City. The purpose of this activity is to provide teachers with an understanding of classroom action research and to train teachers to develop classroom action research. The number of participants in this activity was six teachers. This activity was carried out for approximately three weeks from November 5 to November 22, 2021 at the IT Bilingual Elementary School Alma Asy Syauqi, Cirebon City. The implementation of this activity has several steps including providing material on the basic concepts of classroom action research, models of classroom action research, the importance of classroom action research, and systematics of classroom action research. The next step is for the trainees to practice using the Mendeley application for technical citation and bibliography writing. Then practice compiling a class action research proposal. The methods used in this training activity are expository methods, lectures, questions and answers, discussions, and assignments to make a class action research proposal. The result of this activity is that the teachers have a good understanding of CAR and are able to prepare a class action research proposal well. The enthusiasm of the teachers in the implementation of the training activities was very good and this activity received a positive response from the head of the foundation, principals, and teachers who participated in the training.

Abstract

Abstrak: Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika menggunakan metode whole brain teaching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain pre-experimental design tipe one group pretest dan posttest.penelitian ini menekankan analisis pada data-data numerik (angka) yang diolah menggunakan cara statistika. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam melakukan penelitian, penulis menggunakan dua teknik pengumpulan data (1) Tes dan (2) Observasi.Hasil belajar terhadap penerapan metode whole brain teaching pada pembelajaran matematika secara umum baik, karena berdasarkan interpretasi dari hasil belajar Pretest dan Postest. Hasil belajar Pretest didapatkan nilai rata-rata 3,92%, sedangkan nilai hasil belajar posttest yang didapatkan nilai rata-rata 6,25%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar rata-rata pretest dan posttest meningkat. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan metode Whole Brain Teaching terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas V MI Salafiyah Kota Cirebon.Kata Kunci: metode whole brain teaching, hasil belajar, materi pecahan.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas dan kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang kurang bersemangat dan mudah bosan ketika belajar, serta kesulitan untuk membuat kesimpulan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh guru dalam pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV MN Kota Cirebon serta mendeskripsikan pengaruh guru dalam pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) terhadap kreativitas belajar siswa kelas IV MIN Kota Cirebon. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian ex post facto. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, penyebaran angket dan dokumentasi. Populasi sebanyak 43 siswa kelas IV MIN Kota Cirebon dan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik sampling jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji regresi linear sederhana dan uji hipotesis. 1) Hasil observasi pelaksanaan pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) adalah 78,31% dengan kriteria baik. 2) Hasil lembar angket aktivitas belajar adalah 82,16% dengan kriteria baik. 3) Hasil lembar angket kreativitas belajar adalah 74,94% dengan kriteria cukup baik. 4) Hasil uji regresi linear sederhana didapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 66,1%. 5) Hasil uji regresi linear sederhana didapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) terhadap kreativitas belajar siswa sebesar 59,5 %.Kata Kunci: Pemberian Penguatan (Reinforcement), Aktivitas Belajar, Kreativitas BelajarAbstractThis research is motivated by the lack of activity and creativity of students in the learning process.  This can be seen from the behavior of students who are less enthusiastic and easily bored when studying, students are reluctant to read books to answer the practice questions that the teacher gives, do not listen to the teacher's or friend's explanation who are presenting, less participating in experimental activities, and difficult to remember teaching material that has been  delivered by the teacher.  They tend to prefer chatting with their classmates or playing alone when the learning process takes place.  As for when the teacher finishes explaining the material and asks about material that is not yet understood, only two to three students sometimes ask questions.  In addition, students are rarely able to provide ideas / ideas when the teacher presents a problem, students cannot complete the task of the teacher quickly, as well as difficulty in making conclusions in learning.  The research conducted by this researcher aims to describe the influence of the teacher in giving reinforcement to the learning activities of class IV MIN Cirebon students and to describe the influence of the teacher in providing reinforcement to the learning creativity of class IV MIN Cirebon students.  This research uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto research methods.  Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaire and documentation distribution.  The population was 43 students in class IV MIN of Cirebon City and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling technique.  The data analysis used is the normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis test.  1) The recapitulation results of the observation that the implementation of giving reinforcement (reinforcement) is 78.31% with good criteria.  2) The recapitulation results of the learning activity questionnaire sheet was 82.16% with good criteria.  3) The recapitulation results of the learning creativity questionnaire were 74.94% with quite good criteria.  4) The results of a simple linear regression test the effect of giving reinforcement to student learning activities obtained a significance value of 0.001.  Because according to the hypothesis the significance value is smaller than 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of giving reinforcement (reinforcement) on student learning activities.  The effect is 66.1%.  5) The results of a simple linear regression test the effect of giving reinforcement to student learning creativity obtained a significance value of 0.001.  Because according to the hypothesis the significance value is less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an effect of giving reinforcement to student creativity.  The effect is 59.5%.Keywords: Giving Reinforcement, Learning Activities, Learning Creativity.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh siswa yang tidak disiplin ketika belajar, terlambat masuk kelas, tidak memperhatikan guru, mengobrol ketika guru menjelaskan, tidak mengerjakan tugas, keluar kelas ketika pembelajaran berlangsung dan tidak membawa pelajaran sesuai dengan jadwalnya. Penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar siswa di kelas II MI Salafiyah Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian ex post facto. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket dan studi dokumentasi. Populasi sebanyak 82 siswa dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, normalitas, linearitas, determinasi, regresi sederhana dan hipotesis. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian diperoleh 1) Hasil rekapitulasi angket siswa bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru adalah 80% dengan kriteria kuat (baik). 2) Hasil rekapitulasi angket siswa bahwa pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar siswa adalah 73% dengan kriteria kuat (baik). 3) Berdasarkan uji regresi sederhana nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Karena menurut hipotesis nilai lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka Ho ditolak, artinya bahwa ada pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar siswa kelas II. Adapun pengaruhnya yakni sebesar 37,3%, yang artinya pengaruh tersebut lemah. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang lemah dalam komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin belajar siswa di kelas II MI Salafiyah Kota Cirebon.Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Interpersonal, Karakter Disiplin Belajar AbstractThis research is motivated by students who are not disciplined when studying, late for class, do not pay attention to the teacher, talk when the teacher explains, does not do the assignment, exits the class when learning takes place and does not bring lessons according to the schedule. The research conducted by this researcher aims to describe the effect of interpersonal communication of teachers on the formation of student learning discipline characters in class II MI Salafiyah Cirebon City. This research uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto research methods. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and study of documentation. The population was 82 students and the sample used was saturated sampling. The data analysis used are validity, normality, linearity, determination, simple regression and hypothesis tests. Based on research data obtained 1) Recapitulation results of the student questionnaire that the teacher's interpersonal communication is 80% with strong (good) criteria. 2) The results of the recapitulation of student questionnaires that the formation of student learning discipline character is 73% with strong criteria (good). 3) Based on a simple regression test the significance value is 0,000. Because according to the hypothesis the value is smaller than 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of the teacher's interpersonal communication on the formation of the character of student learning discipline class II. The effect is 37.3%, which means the effect is weak. So it can be concluded that there is a weak influence in interpersonal communication of teachers on the formation of the character of student learning discipline in class II MI Salafiyah Cirebon.Keywords: Interpersonal Comunication, Learning Discipline Character

Abstract

The importance of interest in reading in learning Indonesian. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the reciprocal teaching model on reading interest in Indonesian language subjects for fifth grade students at SDIT Alief Mardhiyah, Cirebon Regency. The population of this study was 23 class V students. The sample in this study amounted to 23 people. The sampling technique for this research uses a saturated sampling technique. The method used in this research is an experimental method in the form of Pre-Experimental Designs with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design type. Data collection uses observation and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used in this research were normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The results of research using teacher activity observation sheets obtained a score of 100%, which is in the good category. The student reading interest questionnaire score was 71.1% and was included in the very strong category. There is an influence of the reciprocal teaching model on reading interest in Indonesian language subjects for fifth grade students at SDIT Alief Mardhiyah, Cirebon Regency, namely with a value of Sig. (0.000) < probability 0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between the use of the reciprocal teaching model on reading interest in Indonesian language subjects for fifth grade students at SDIT Alief Mardhiyah, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' lack of understanding of Indonesian language lessons, especially regarding the material on expressions of requests for help and forgiveness. This type of quantitative research design is One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Data was obtained using normality, homogeneity, hypothesis and N-Gain tests. From the results of research using the teacher observation sheet, the score was 92% in the very good category and the student activity observation sheet was 80% in the good category. There is an influence of paper puppet learning media on student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. In the N-Gain test, a value of 0.58 was obtained, meaning that the average increase in the pretest and posttest index was included in the medium category.
