Abstract

Goals to be achieved in this study are (1) knowing or mastery learning achievement of students with learning PMRI approach by traditional game “Dhakon”, (2) knowing the differences of student’s calculation capibility of multiplication between learning use PMRI approach by traditional game “Dhakon” with conventional learning. This research is quantitative. The population of this research are students in SD Negeri Gayamsari 01 Semarang second grade. The sample in this research population were all taken by the students of class II A and II B SD Negeri Gayamsari 01 Semarang. The independent variable in this research is learning PMRI approach by traditional game “Dhakon”, and the dependent variable is the multiplication numeracy skills. The method of data collection using interviews, documentation, testing and observation. For data analysis mastery learning one sample t test was used to measure numeracy and multiplication use two-sample t test. Based on the results of the study showed an average multiplication numeracy of experimental group 90,75 and the control group 80. Based on the homogeneity test obtained Fhitung 1,77 and with α 5%, Ftabel 2,168 thus obtained Fhitung <Ftabel, meaning both homogeneous group. Based on a sample t-test in the experimental group gained thitung = 14,41 with α = 5% and df = 19 obtained Ttabel = 1,729. Because thitung> ttabel then H0 rejected so it can be concluded that the multiplication numeracy skills of students in the experimental group on average 65. Based on two-sample t test obtained thitung = 3,61 and with α 5% was obtained Ttabel = 2,0244. Because thitung> ttabel then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted, thus there is a difference in average numeracy skills that students multiplication numeracy experimental group is better than control group multiplication numeracy. Suggestions researchers, learning PMRI approaches should be developed to another subject that students have a picture of the material being studied relations with its application in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is motivated to improve the quality of education according to the standard of competence specified, the system needs to be implemented better learning outcomes assessment and planned mainly on mathematics learning. The demands of the curriculum resulted in learning mathematics is still fixated theory, so that students become less creative, less formal, and is still fixated on the standard formula. In addition, the learning model which uses only one-way learning model is less effective and less efficient. The problems revealed in this study is the use of the model is the CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) mathematics effectively improve learning outcomes. Goals to be achieved in this study was to determine the effectiveness of the model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) in improving student learning outcomes in mathematics IV.Penelitian class was held at the Bradford Elementary School Kedunguter 02 in the school year 2012/2013. Variable in this study is the result of student learning in mathematics learning is the dependent variable (Y) and learning model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) which is the independent variable (X). While the failed hypothesis H0 is rejected if t <t table or it can be said that the cooperative model of CIRC is not effective against math hasilbelajar Elementary School fourth grade students Kedunguter 02 Bradford, and H1 is accepted if t ≥ t table or it can be said that the cooperative model of CIRC effective against learning outcomes fourth grade math students Kedunguter 02 Bradford District. This type of research is experimental. The population in this study were fourth grade students Kedunguter 02 Bradford Elementary School in 2012/2013 the number of 40 students. Samples taken a total sample of 40 students. Desainpenelitian used was a pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the analysis of data after getting treatment, menunjukkanbahwa mathematics achievement using cooperative learning model CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) can achieve mastery learning classical study sebesar75%. Data were analyzed using the statistical analysis t-test. Based on calculations using t-test at significance level (α) = 0.05, obtained t count> t table ie 2.0757> 1.68, so the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted, it can be concluded cooperative learning model type CIRC effective on students mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

True human nature is friendly and close to nature, but due to the development of more advanced civilization brought journey of human life to be biased. So many people who seemed to lose its identity as a part of nature. The problem is when we want to know and understand nature through a learning process in schools will find obstacles result from the difficulty we bring children closer to nature. We as teachers so find it difficult to plan the learning program in order to bring children closer to nature. The problem is when we are at the level of the program, many of the procedures that we have to pass that we forget the essence of science education is closer to the students closer to nature. For the primary level, learning approach with perspective students closer to nature can be reached through a variety of approaches and methods such as CTL approach, inquiry, Explorative and others. In essence these ideas are closer pitched at students as learners with learning resources more concrete, concrete approach (manipulation) or until the concrete as concrete-concrete, with a note at all possible. The sense is closer to students with learning resources do not always have to bring concrete objects or bring students into the atmosphere of concrete. In certain circumstances we may not bring students to the moon to study the moon and bring elephants into the classroom to introduce students to the elephant but we manipulate it in the form of images.
