Abstract

Second grade students of SD Negeri 01 Semarang Sambirejo still having trouble in learning mathematics, especially in understanding the material operations of multiplication count numbers. Mathematics is one of the important subjects. So with these circumstances, it is necessary to do the learning that can improve student learning outcomes. One is to apply the method of demonstration KAPAS media assisted in learning. Formulation of the problem is revealed in this study is whether the application of the method demonstration assisted KAPAS media effectively improve student learning outcomes Math class II SD Negeri 01 Semarang Sambirejo? Goals to be achieved in this research is to determine whether the application of methods of assisted demonstration KAPAS media effectively improve student learning outcomes Math class II SD Negeri 01 Semarang Sambirejo. This type of research is experimental research. The study design used was a Posttest-only Control Design. Population in this research that all students in elementary school Sambirejo 01 Semarang, amounting to 406 students and the sample used is grade II for a total of 75 students were divided into two classes, totaling 36 students IIA and IIB class numbered 39 students. The study is a sampling Probability sampling, cluster sampling technique with random sampling. Data analysis techniques in this study using a preliminary analysis using the normality test and test the equality of two on average, for final analysis using normality test, mastery learning and test two sides (t-test). Based on the analysis of research data after getting treatment showed that the learning outcomes Math class achieve mastery learning experiment, judging from the list of the test (test mastery learning) with derived table = 1.684 and t = 8.271. It means that the average passing grade experimental class is not the same as 72, and of the t-test results obtained coefficient = 2.554 and t table = 1.995, for t> t table then Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that the application of methods of assisted demonstration KAPAS media effectively increase student learning outcomes Math II class 01 SD Negeri Semarang Sambirejo academic year 2012/2013. Suggestions to make is that this study can be applied by teachers in school as activities of innovation and creativity in implementing the learning aims to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning results obtained by students in the Mathematics and Civics Lessons. Besides, the SD N Mulyoharjo 01 Jeparave never apply learning by using themes or thematic learning in students. To improve the learning outcomes of this environmental theme used instructional media Tree Couple. In the process of learning to use media Tree Couple pemikirannyasecara students can train quickly and precisely. The study was aimed to determine students mastery learning on environmental themes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of media Tree Couple itself. This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all students of class II SD N Mulyoharjo 01 Jepara. The sample in this study amounted to 79 students with a saturated sampling technique and design research is pretest-posttest control design. Based on the analysis of research data that has been implemented is obtained t = 3.779 and t table = 1.667 so thitung> ttabel then Ho is rejected. the students who completed the experimental class were 36 students and control class is 20 students. This may imply that the media Tree Couple learning can improve student learning outcomes environmental themes. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the results of student learning theme of the environment by using instructional media Tree Couple more effective and can achieve mastery learning students. Suggestions submitted that teachers should use instructional media Tree Couple because it is more effective and able to achieve mastery learning students.

Abstract

In the learning process, one of which is learning civics, still commonly found in the teacher teaching only rely on conventional methods. With teachers rely on conventional methods, students become active in learning. It is an effect on student learning outcomes. Therefore, the learning activities teachers need to implement appropriate teaching strategies. Thus the researchers conducted studies using NHT (Numbered Heads Together). Goals to be achieved in this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning NHT (Numbered Heads Together) on student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research (experimental). Subjects in this study were students of class IV SDN Weding 3 Demak the number of 32 students. In this study, the class is divided into two groups, namely the experimental class and control class groups, each group class consists of 16 students. Analysis of the difference using T-test analysis, this analysis is used to determine the effect of the application of the method NHT (Numbered Heads Together) on learning outcomes of students in the experimental class and control class. Results of the study conducted on control class and experimental class, showed the average value in the classroom posttest control of 67.75 and 74.75 for the experimental class. From the results of data analysis known that the t value of 2.115 and t table value of 2.04, so t count> t table then H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in learning outcomes between experimental control class to class. From the difference in the results of the study can be said that there is the effect of applying the method NHT (Numbered Heads Together) against Civics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN Weding 3 Demak. From the results of this study suggested that becomes an input to be able to apply the method NHT (Numbered Heads Together) well.

Abstract

  The problems revealed in this research is whether there is influence of Quantum Teaching Model by using Media of Picture Series toward Learning Outcomes Indonesian course of the fifth Grade in Kuripan State Elementary School"? Collecting data in this research conducted using tests and non-test. The data obtained in tests using normality test, homogeneity test and hypotheses test. Once the analysis was performed using t test analysis. Analysis of the early stages of the pre-test values, indicating that the two groups of normally distributed and homogeneous. After the second group was given a different treatment, the experimental group applied using a model of Quantum Teaching learning to use the media picture series and applied learning control group using a conventional lecture method. Gained an average for the experimental group was 74.5 and the average for the control group was 69.0. Hypothesis testing using t-test found 2,848, while 2,042 worth. This indicates acceptable Ha Ho is rejected because>. The conclusion from this study is that there is a positive effect of giving Quantum Teaching learning model using the media picture series against Indonesian student learning outcomes, as seen from the average results of the experimental group learned better than the control group.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a number of students that scored below the KKM is because teachers still use the lecture method. The problems revealed in this study is whether the methods of effective monopoly media-assisted game against the interest and learning outcomes of students in grade I arithmetic operations SD Negeri 1 Kedungsuren Kendal?. Statistical hypothesis in this study is whether there are differences in mathematics achievement using the lecture method using assisted game media monopoly on the material grade 1 arithmetic operations SD Negeri 1 Kedungsuren? whether learning math games using assisted media monopoly on the material grade 1 arithmetic operations SD Negeri 1 Kedungsuren achieve mastery? and how much influence the outcomes of interest in learning math games using assisted media monopoly on the material grade 1 arithmetic operations SD Negeri 1 Kedungsuren?. Goals to be achieved in this study was to determine the effectiveness of methods of assisted media monopoly game against the interest and learning outcomes of students in grade I arithmetic operations SD Negeri 1 Kedungsuren Kendal. Method in this study is experimental. Design research is the design of a pretest-posttest control group. Results of analysis using t-test values ​​obtained t >  t table or 2.35 > 2.04 so there is a difference in student learning outcomes using the game through the media monopoly with students with learning learning outcomes lecture method. Results of data analysis indicated the research by obtaining t > t table or 3.44 > 2.13 indicates that the learning using the game of aided the media monopoly has been able to achieve mastery learning. Students interest in learning using the game of monopoly media aided affect student learning outcomes. This is indicated by a simple regression analysis to = -60.37 +1.638 X and the coefficient of determination R2 of 0.612 or 61.2%. This means that students interest in learning the game using assisted media monopoly influence on learning outcomes was 61.2%. It can be concluded that the method assisted media monopoly game effectively against the material interests and learning outcomes grade 1 arithmetic operations SD Negeri Kedungsuren Kendal. The suggestion that teachers should be submitted using the methods of the game assisted learning media monopoly.

Abstract

This research is based on the results of integrative thematic learning which has not been optimal yet, for the average score on student learning outcomes has not yet reached the KKM. That is because the new curriculum 2013 which just in progress, the lack of motivation and interest in learning that implied in low student learning outcomes, the lack of media use which is interesting so that the learning activity looks less active, the teacher is still teaching using conventional models, and the models of group investigation have not. Type of  this research is classroom action research . The data in this study was obtained through test, observation sheet activities of student and teacher learning activities observation sheet. This study was conducted in three cycles. At each cycle consists of four stages, those are planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the analysis result of research data after getting the action,  it has been an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle, as follows: In the first cycle, student learning outcomes previously only reached 60%, with the value of student activity reached 79%. In the second cycle learning outcomes of students increased to 76%, with the value of student activity reached 85%. In the third cycle of student learning outcomes increased to 92%, with the value of student activity reached 92%. In the third cycle has reached the specified performance indicators, this research is successful.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of reasoning and problem-solving skills math class V students on the subject of the story about the multiplication and division of fractions. Students are less able to understand and decipher the core issues contained in the matter of the story. In addition, students difficulty changing story problems into mathematical form. This makes the learning achievements of students who achieved less than the maximum. Issues examined in this study were (1) Is the mathematical reasoning fifth grade students Karangayu SD N 02 Semarang can reach the learning criterion was after receiving RME? (2) Is there any difference in the ability to solve mathematical problems Karangayu fifth grade students of SDN 02 Semarang after receiving RME learning? This research is quantitative. By using the design / design study pre-experimental design types of one- group pre-test-post-test design. Based on the pre-test and post-test reasoning variables obtained average value of 51.38 in the pre-test criteria for low and average value of the post-test 65.06 on the criterion of moderate / normal. The research hypothesis has been mentioned that, H01 is rejected and thank Ha1 the mathematical reasoning fifth grade students Karangayu SD N 02 Semarang reach criterion medium / normal after getting learning RME (Realistic Mathematic Education). While the t-test on the variable math problem-solving skills obtained t count> t table = 5.971> 2.021. The research hypothesis has been mentioned that, H01 and thank Ha1 denied that there are differences in the ability to solve mathematical problems graders V SD N Karangayu 02 Semarang after getting learning RME.

Abstract

Stage of development of the child in accordance with the characteristics of how children learn, the learning process is the most appropriate thematic learning. Thematic is tepadu learning by using themes to associate some subjects so as to provide a meaningful experience to the students. Based on initial observations in class II Banyutowo Kendal SDN 2 shows the results of student learning is not maximized, because the teachers have not been using a variety of methods, inadequate instructional media, student activities passive and apathetic. Achievement of classical completeness for the Civics subjects and 37.5% for subjects Indonesian namely 45.8%. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). In this PTK is the subject of the study is the second grade students of SDN Banyutowo Kendal, amounting to 24 students. The study was planned in the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. By using about as much as 20 points to the data analysis used descriptive analysis includes determining the completeness of individual and classical. Results of this study showed improvement of teacher skills, student activities, and student learning outcomes in thematic learning through active learning model type Index Card Match. Average student activity increased less than 47% category (first cycle), a good 75% category (cycle II). The average teachers skills increased from 47% category of very less (first cycle), a good 72% category (cycle II). Average student learning outcomes increased from an average value of 58.75 with classical completeness 37.5% lower category (first cycle), has increased the average value is 78.75 with classical completeness of 83.3% is very high category (cycle II). Based on the results of this study concluded that the active learning model Index Card Match type proven to improve the quality of thematic learning indicated on improving the skills of teachers, student activities and student learning outcomes. Suggestions should be submitted to teachers seeking to improve the quality of learning in the classroom by applying active learning model Index Card Match type which can improve the skills of teachers, student activities, and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The use of the term is less commonly used prismatic poetry when its existence can not be covered or removed from the history of poetry in indonesia. Thus, it is necessary to do the analysis or in-depth study of the works which can be categorized into these types of poetry. The analysis is based on the problem of "how the prismatic shape and kind of poetry is in the air kata kata by sindhunata?" the purpose of this study is to determine the shape and type of prismatic poetry is in the air kata kata by sindhunata. Used a qualitative descriptive approach in the analysis of prismatic shape and kind of poetry in the collection of poems air kata kata by sindhunata. The focus of the study conducted on 1) forms, 2) the substance, 3) themes, 4) type, and 5) language to obtain forms and types that exist in the poetry collection. Based on the analysis, it can be said that 1) form prismatic poetry is in the air kata kata is a combination of text and images in one frame, and 2) the type of prismatic poetry is in the air kata kata classified by theme, diction is used, the type of language used, and typography. Thus, it can be concluded that the prismatic shape and kind of poetry that is in the collection of poems can be classified into a new genre, there are two kinds, namely poetry mbeling (physical structure and inner unconventional) and poetry rinupa (a blend of poetry texts and images), therefore, the analysis can be carried out or continued research in the field of poetry prismatic especially on matters relating to poetry and poetry mbeling rinupa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran tematik adalah pembelajaran yang dirancang berdasarkan tema-tema tertentu. Dalam pembahasannya tema itu ditinjau dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Pembelajaran tematik menyediakan keluasan dan kedalaman implementasi kurikulum, menawarkan kesempatan yang sangat banyak pada siswa untuk memunculkan dinamika dalam pendidikan. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil rata-rata keaktifan mahasiswa 81,5 %, rata-rata ketrampilan mahasiswa 57,7 %, rata-rata hasil belajar 7,4 dan keaktifan tutor sebaya dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar nilai rata-rata 7, 56. Pada siklus II diperoleh hasil rata-rata keaktifan mahasiswa 83,4 %, rata-rata ketrampilan mahasiswa 73,4 %, rata-rata hasil belajar 8,8 dan nilai rata-rata keaktifan tutor sebaya dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar 7,75.
