Abstract

Use appropriate media often affect the level of motivation and the level of student learning outcomes. Teachers who rarely use the media in the learning process of students learning motivation and result in low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning motivation and learning outcomes through the use of media in a clever snakes and ladders games or thematic integrative learning. Subjects were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kronggen, totaling 18 students, which consisted of eight male students and 10 female students. The result showed that the students motivation has increased from 61.11% to pre cycles, 72.22% in the first cycle, while the cycle I 72.22% to 94.44% in the second cycle. Then the student learning outcomes on cognitive aspects showed an increase in pre-cycle condition of the average value of student learning outcomes 68.34 and 61.12% of students learning completeness. While in the first cycle, the average value of student learning outcomes increased to 72.78% and 77.78% mastery learning students. While in the second cycle the average value of student learning outcomes increased to 93.34% and 100% complete learn student. Based on the analysis of research data, it can be concluded that the use of snakes and ladders games or smart media can enhance learning motivation and learning outcomes thematic integrative Elementary School fourth grade students 2 Kronggen

Abstract

The problems discussed in this study is "whether there is the effectiveness of inquiry learning methods on learning outcomes and motivation of students in math class V Tumbal elementary school 02". The data in this study were obtained by using the method of documentation, tests, interviews, and questionnaires. This study is an experimental study with a quantitative approach. The design of this research study Exsperimental True Design. (Experiment truly) in the form of Posttest-Only Control Design. By using a sampling technique that is saturated sampling. Results mastery learning classical analysis by t test of the experimental group obtained t> t table (8.553> 1.676), in the control group known t <t table (1.664 <1.676). So learning by inquiry method can achieve mastery class. To determine differences in student learning outcomes using the t test, known t> t table (2.030> 2.012) then Ho is rejected, it means that the learning outcomes of the experimental group over the control group so that there are differences in learning outcomes experimental group with the control group. Calculation of the experimental group students motivation questionnaire contained 68% of students have excellent category, in the control group there were 44% of students have excellent category. So the motivation to study the experimental group was better than control group. It can be concluded that the method of inquiry learning can effectively improve learning outcomes and motivation fifth grade elementary school students 02 Tumbal.Top of Form

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of media use are causing varying levels of students understanding of the material becomes less , and students feel tired and less interested in learning a given. The problem in this study is How the media application on the radiant image of integrated thematic teaching fourth grade second semester Elementary School Heroes theme Bolo Demak in the Academic Year 2013/2014? The purpose of this study was to describe the radiant image media applications on integrated thematic learning fourth grade second semester Elementary School Heroes theme Bolo Demak in the Academic Year 2013/2014. This research uses descriptive qualitative research approach. Location of the study in Demak Bolo Elementary School fourth grade second semester. Data sourced words research results. The results showed no improvement in student evaluation of learning outcomes 4, 5, and 6 using media images beamed on learning Heroes theme. The average value of classical ie increased 85,7 % which exceeds the results of complete classical limit above 75% of all students. Observations of teachers learning to use the media images have an average radiant with the criteria of "good" by 70%. Observation results showed no increase in students attitudes change in the behavior of students in learning 6, ie, there are 30 students from 35 students or completeness of 85,7% in the classical with the very good category. The response of the students and teachers to use instructional media images beamed ie, most of the students are very excited and interested in learning more active, very enthusiastic and serious in doing. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase students critical thinking skills mathematics courses before and after application of problem based learning model. This type of research is quantitative. Data in this study were obtained through the test of critical thinking skills with narrative form, documentation, and observation. The study design used is one group pretest-posttest design. Based on the analysis of research data after getting treatment with problem based learning model, showed an increase in students critical thinking skills. T test coefficient of 6.0125 and the coefficient is significant at the 5% level, as obtained thitung> ttable ie t = 6.0125> table = 2.093. It can be concluded that there is an increase in students critical thinking skills mathematics courses before and after application of problem based learning model.

Abstract

In the process of study in physical education,sport, and health for elementary school student, gymnastic ball characteris can used as one of matery in rhitmic activity for V class. Will hoped to add the variety in physical education,sport, and health material which limited variety. This research becomes the development f the research it self. The procedures of this research which is used consist of the analysis of product which is developed, to improve product earlier, the expert validation, the field trial, consist of the small groupt test and the big group test, product revision, and the development product result The research result is a product model for gymnastic ball charactercan be used as media learning of  physical education,sport, and health. Based on the scale wide test to the product, the using of gymnastic ball charactermodel to the student, it can increase the pulse for about 62% from 120 student. From the response which is given to 120 student to the psycomotor aspect which including in a good category as much as 94 student, middle category as much as 23 student, and low category as much as 3 student. For Cognitive aspect including a good category as much as 81 student, middle category as much as 34 student, and low category as much as 5 student. Affective aspect which including good category as much as 88 student, middle category as much as 26 student, and low category as much as 6 student. Based on the researh result which is concluded : (1) The development of gymnastic ball charactermodel for learning physical education,sport, and health elementary school students can be increase physical activity student in learning. Improvement pulse rate that happened  of students until 62 %. This matter is knowable from means of pulse rate before learning gymnastic ball characteris 93 times a minut, and experiencing of improvement until 150 times a minut after following learn aerobic gymnastic. (2) The student is very intersting and feels happy with the gymnastic ball charactermodel which is thaugt so that the student can move effectively in learning implementation.

Abstract

Learning to take advantage of scarps  is learning to enhance students knowledge in the work of art which has its own characteristics. The method in this research is a qualitative approach. Location and objectives this research in SD I Gribig Kudus and learning objectives in this research is art, especially in the use scarps. Students who follow this learning process are a fifth grade student in SD I Gribig Kudus. In a study that has been conducted in SD I Gribig Kudus produces a work by using some of the junk that aesthetic value. Works in both categories can be seen from the manufacturing process, the students in making this work to streamline the predetermined time, the completeness of tools and materials before the process is done by dividing the tasks on each member of  group. The results of student creativity at work is seen from the use of colored paper and combine a color that is pretty neat. In this process, the students easily understand the techniques provided by the teacher. Learning outcomes in the use of second-hand goods in the form of work as meronce necklace of newsprint, the hood of food, toy dragon, ornamental flowers of beverage glass packaging, the tower of a pack of cigarettes, and a lantern from plastic bottles.

Abstract

This research is a class act who has a goal to increase the activity and mathematics learning outcomes was the specific goal is Improving Mathematics activity and learning outcomes in Visual Spatial Intelligence Based Learning material opportunities for students of class IX B SMP Negeri 2 Jiken the school year 2014/2015. The research was done in SMP N 2 Jiken class IX and the number of 30 students. Done with 2 cycles, 1 cycle starts with planning, action, observation and refeksi or analyzes that compare the test results with the initial condition of the test results in cycle 1. Similarly for Cycle 2 with reflection study comparing the results with the results of the test cycle 1 to cycle test 2. From the learning outcomes of students who completed at cycle 2 looks 83,3 More learning outcomes of students who pass the initial conditions (20%) to siklus1 (60%) an increase of 40%, while learning completeness of the initial conditions (20%) to cycle 2 (83.33%) an increase of 63.33%. The average value of students also increased from the prior actions or initial conditions (55) to Cycle 1 (58.19) or up to 3.19 while the average of cycle 1 (58.19) to cycle 2 (63.61) rises 5.42 while the average of the initial conditions (55) to siklus2 (63.61) is also an increase of 8.61. There was an increase in all indicators of initial conditions to cycle 2. Learn to indicators of the presence of initial conditions (63.33%) 2 cycles (83.337%) an increase of 20%, listening to the teachers explanation of the initial conditions (33.33%) cycle 2 (73.33%) an increase of 40%, do the exercise of the teacher of initial conditions (30%) 2 cycles (66.67%) an increase of 36.67%, a discussion with a friend in the group of initial conditions (26.67%) cycle 2 (76.67%) an increase of 50%, an indicator makes the homework of the initial conditions (23.33%) 2 cycles (60%) increased 46.67%, presented the results of the discussion of the initial conditions (33.33%) 2 cycles (90%) an increase of 56.67%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process in Karangtengah elementary school teacher is still relatively conventional, especially ini fifth class is still low (48.4% of students have not reached KKM). The problem in this research are (1) the difference in student learning outcomes as mathematics students in learning using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray with students who are learning to use conventional learning; (2)  the learning model cooperative type Two Stay Two Stray effectively used to improve learning outcomes in mathematics students? This type of research is quantitative. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri Karangtengah is 64 students by using saturated sampling . The data in this study using the test and non-test. This study design using True Experimental Design shaped Post Test-Only Control Design. Final data analysis using the average difference test and t test One Party Right. Based on the analysis of research data after getting treatment cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray, an average of 81.355 experimental class learning outcomes and learning outcomes on average 57.848 control class. Results of test analysis the average difference in learning outcomes (experimental class and control class) coefficient t test of 2.667 with a significance level of 5% by interpolation obtained t table = 1.958 so that t > t table, then Ho is rejected and there are differences in learning outcomes among students using cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray with conventional learning. From these results it can be concluded that cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray effective and can improve the results of fifth grade students learn math SD N Karangtengah.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) develop a thematic student activity sheet on the theme “Where I Live” suitable for fourth grade students of Public Elementary School 2 Tinggarjaya, and (2) determine the effectiveness of thematic-integrative student activity sheet grade students Public Elementary School Srikayangan developed. This study refers to the development and research developed by Borg & Gall that includes. Subject research fourth grade students of SDN Srikayangan. Collecting data used interview guides, product assessment student activity sheet, teacher observation sheets, observation sheets of learners, the teacher questionnaire responses and questionnaire responses of learners. Mechanical analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data enhancement honest and caring character were analyzed using gain standard. Data honest and caring character differences were analyzed using t test with a significance level of 5%. The results show that the material student activity sheet according to experts, evaluation, curriculum and teachers in terms of aspects of integrating character got good score of 4 categories, aspects of Pedagogy got a very good score of 4.46 category, construction got a score of 4.49 excellent and the technical category got a score of 4, 32 categories very well developed so student activity sheet fit for use. In the field tests it is obtained a significance value gain honest and caring character as much as 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected. This shows that there are significant differences on average increase of the character honest and caring

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the different effects of the guided discovery style model training and command style model training on basketball skills of students, (2) the different effects on basketball skills of students who have high and low coordination, and (3) the interaction effects between training models of guided discovery style and command style with coordination (high and low) on the basketball skills of students.This research was an experiment. The population comprised 43 basketball extracurricular students. A sample of 24 students was established using the purposive sampling technique. The instruments of this research were wall bounce pass test to measure eye-hand coordination and Sekolah Tinggi Olahraga (STO) test to measure the basketball skills. The data were analyzed using the two-way ANAVA analysis.The results of the study are as follows. (1) There is no different effect between guided discovery style model training and command style model training on the basketball skills of the students. (3) There is an effect difference on the basketball skills of the students who have high and low coordination. (4) There is no a significant interaction between model training and coordination on the basketball skills of students.
