Abstract

Named Entity Recognition (NER) is a process to identify words or phrases as a named entity, such as a person, location, time expression, or organization. In this research, we are interested in developing a NER which able to identify the time expression entity in Balinese text documents. The time expression entity becomes an important component in the text because it is usually followed by important facts and information. NER was built using a rules-based approach. The rules are built based on direct observation of documents and pay attention to the morphological and contextual structures. Based on the experiments conducted, the average results of the precision, recall, and f-measure values were 0.85, 0.87, and 0.85.

Abstract

A shop owner needs an information system to see sales conditions. However, PHI Minimart only provides sales information that is stored in a database so that it cannot provide or present information quickly. To solve this problem, a data warehouse was built at PHI Mart to get fast information. This research will carry out the implementation of data warehouse sales from data sources, the extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) process using Pentaho tools, making Starschema in the form of branch dimensions, product dimensions, employee dimensions, time dimensions connected to the sales fact table, dashboard using BI power. Then the results of the data warehouse are analyzed through the OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing) process, making a cube or schema workbench, and making a dashboard for visualization in presenting the expected information from PHI Minimart. The results in this study include sales data used in 2008 in the form of sales graphs or dashboards, goods sold, and total sales of each branch, which are obtained as the delivery of sales information at the store.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology requires everyone to adapt. It is the same as the demands of work and school so that everyone should be more able to handle this problem. It is inevitable that the use of laptops today is not something that is a step. Almost all age groups use laptops to do school work, complete office work, or as a medium of entertainment. With so many types of laptops, some people are confused about choosing a laptop. The use of ontology as an information representation technique is a solution to this problem. Ontology can present information or knowledge sources semantically and organize various information resources in a systematic and structured manner. In the development of this ontology will be made using the methontology method. Methontology is one of the ontology model development methodologies which has advantages related to a detailed description of each activity. In addition, methontology also has other advantages, namely the development of ontology that are now made usable for further system development. Therefore, this study is proposed to build an ontology model that represents knowledge about laptops.

Abstract

In the recovery of the tourism sector in Bali due to COVID-19, a solution is needed with the aim of making tourists more interested in having a vacation in Bali. One of the solutions that can be offered is optimizing the tourist recommendations on the island of Bali, because so far tourists only get travel recommendations from travel agents and guides who usually recommend favorite tourist destinations, and sometimes guides recommend tourist attractions according to their personal wishes or goals. making tourists less optimal in enjoying tourist attractions in Bali. Optimization of Bali Tourism Recommendations Based on Tourist Personal Motivation Using the Naive Bayes Algorithm, is one solution to optimize tourism recommendations in Bali, where tourist recommendations are taken based on tourist characteristics using the Naïve Bayes Algorithm. In this study the authors used 180 training data, and the results of this study indicate that the personal motivation of tourists who are processed using the Naïve Bayes algorithm is feasible to use for tourism recommendations in Bali. Keywords: Recommendation Optimization, Personal Motivation, Naïve Bayes.

Abstract

When on vacation, one of the essential amenities that is needed is the availability of accommodation such as hotel. One of the areas that become a holiday destination is the island of Bali. Being one of the tourist destinations of course many lodgings available in Bali with various facilities offered. The problem facing tourists is when choosing the right lodging that suits your wishes or needs, so in this study will be built a hotel recommendation system in Bali. The purpose of this research is to assist tourists in choosing the right hotel. The study used 78 hotel data sourced from the agoda.com. The methods used in this study are Case Based Reasoning and K-Nearest Neighbor. The result of this study is that the hotel recommendation system in Bali has managed to provide hotel selection recommendations based on 14 features namely district, hotel class, room type, and availability of facilities such as breakfast, swimming pool, television, gym, air conditioner, scenery, and nightly stay price. Based on black box testing, it is obtained the result that the hotel recommendation system in Bali can function properly.

Abstract

The Security System For Web-Based Lontar Images in JPG Format Using the Rivest Shamir Adleman Method is a system that is basically used to secure an image in JPG format, which after the encryption process will be converted into txt. Where the system functions to secure lontar by using an encryption process using a cryptographic technique, namely Rivest Shamir Adleman (RSA) which is expected to help the public to maintain information or documentation and evidence of important events that occurred in the past.

Abstract

A phobia is an excessive fear of a certain situation or object that can hinder the life of the sufferer. Phobias that are not immediately treated in individuals can lead to a state of frustration and even depression and the worst situation is the feeling of wanting to commit suicide. The earlier it is known that a person's phobic disorder is experienced, the faster treatment can be done by an expert. Expert systems can be used to diagnose a person's phobia and replace the role of an expert through a computer program. The expert system developed can diagnose nine phobias using 84 symptoms which are divided into three types of symptoms. Knowledge about phobias was obtained from a health online site in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Certainty Factor (CF) method is used to overcome uncertainty in determining a disease based on its symptoms that usually occur in expert systems. The expert system is implemented based on a website using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The CF method can be used to determine the percentage of a person's phobia based on symptoms by taking into account the weights of experts and users. System testing using Blackbox Testing shows that all the features that have been implemented in the expert system can function properly.

Abstract

Currently, the whole world is experiencing a pandemic outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, which is an infectious disease that is one of the types of coronavirus. Transmission of this virus can go through the surrounding goods that are touched by the hand so it is recommended to always maintain hand hygiene by washing hands with water and soap. Not at every entrance in Niti Mandala Renon field, there is a sink and no information about the location of the sink in this field, which can cause the community to be confused due to lack of information. Augmented Reality (AR) applications can be used to solve this problem because with AR can explain more interactive information because the information displayed through 3D objects is directly applied to the real world visually. In this case, AR is used to display the map of sink location information with an interactive 3D model that can be rotated and zoomed to help the community easily get the information. This application use marker-based AR with multi-target so that each map information is stored and display on the different marker. Users only need to install the application on their android device and scan the QR code provided, then the 3D map object will be displayed according to the registered marker. Based on testing this study gets a 100% success rate in functional aspects.

Abstract

Capturing every moment is not taboo in this era. One way to capture the moment is to use a photo, but the results are often unsatisfactory. Noise, is one of the many causes of unsatisfactory results. Noise is a disturbance caused by digital data storage received by the image data receiver which can interfere with image quality. Noise can be caused by physical (optical) disturbances in the image capturing device, such as dust on the camera lens or due to improper processing. To get rid of this noise, you can use various methods, of which Gaussian Filtering is one of them. In this research, we will implement it using Matlab. The type of file used is a photo that has a jpg format and has noise above 75%. After doing image processing, it shows the results of the image which initially has noise and after the image quality improvement process is carried out, the image quality is clearer and the noise decreases.

Abstract

Informatics has become among the fastest growing studies with hundreds or more papers and journals being published each year. The ever expanding repository of published and unpublished journals makes it more and more difficult and expensive to manage it with only human capabilities. As such, the need for an information system that can help classify and manage journals and papers on informatics becomes more and more important. This paper discusses the design and implementation of an informatics journal information system using the prototype method and uniform modeling language.
