Abstract

The Existence Level of Subak Elements as Social Systems(A Case of Subak Munggu of Tegal Lantang, Village of Pererenan,Sub-District of Mengwi, Regency of Badung)Subak or organization of irrigation system is a world cultural heritage which must bepreserved, so that the existence of Subak should be maintained. The purpose of thisstudy was to determine the level of the existence of the elements of Subak as socialsystems that includes goals, beliefs, feelings or sentiments, norms, sanctions, positionand role, power, social rank, facilities, and area. The study took place in SubakMunggu Tegal Lantang by the number of respondents of 33 people. Data werecollected by interview and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The resultsshowed that the level of existence of elements of Subak as a social system was veryhigh with a score of 85,86%. It can be seen from the ten elements of a sociologicalapproach. Indicators of interest was very high with a score of 89,70%, confidencewas very high with a score of 89,70%, feeling was quite high with a score of 72,73%,norm was very high with a score of 89,09%, sanction was very high with a score of86,46 %, position and role were very high with a score of 90,15%, power was veryhigh with a score of 84,04%, social rank was very high with a score of 89,29%,facilities were high with a score of 77,17%, and area was very high with a score of90,30%.It is recommended that the Subak needs to strengthen some of the parametersof the weak indicators, i.e. the norms (awig awig, pararem) should be made in thewritten rules to suppress the land conversion to other uses, and it should pay moreattention to its problem such as the pest attacks.

Abstract

Abstract Financial Analysis of Farm Management Super Red Dragon Fruit (Hylocereus costaricensis) (Case Study at Berkah Naga Farmer’s Group in Sambirejo Village Bangorejo District Banyuwangi Regency) Dragon fruit is one of the horticulture commodities has a good agribusiness prospect. High demand and high selling price from dragon fruit giving opportunities to the farmer in Sambirejo village who are member of Berkah Naga Farmer’s Group to farm management dragon fruit. In a farm management dragon fruit needs financial analysis for measure the success of farming. The purpose this research is to knowing the feasibility farm management dragon fruit in term of financial aspect and household income contribution. This research was conducted at Berkah Naga Farmer’s Group in Sambirejo village, Bangorejo district, Banyuwangi regency. After all of the data calculated use investment criteria that is: NPV (Rp154.738.558,00), Net B/C (1,90) bigger than one, IRR  (59,03%) bigger than discount factor, and payback period (2 years 3 month). This results showed prevailing interest rate 18% each year, farm management dragon fruit is feasible. From sensitivity analysis showing that farm management dragon fruit not sensitive to increase cost. But, farm management dragon fruit are sensitive with decrease selling price dragon fruit 50%. Abstract

Contribution of Cocoa Farming to Farmers Household Incomein Pangsan Village, Petang District, Badung Regency The study aims to determine the sources of cocoa farmers' income, and the largecontribution of cocoa farming to the income of the farmers' households in PangsanVillage, as well as to find out the physical management practices and postharvesthandling applied by the cocoa farmers. The technique of determining the sample wasby using proportional random sampling and the sample was taken randomly to selectthe sample by lottery method with the number of samples of 34 cocoa farmers. Thedata collection was conducted from early February to the end of February 2017. Thestudy used farming analysis to calculate net income and total household income ofcocoa farmers during 2016. The results showed that cocoa farming has the highestcontribution of 70.10% of the total household income of farmers amounting to Rp.85,954,990.80 / year with an average income of Rp. 60,252,258 / year. The physicalmanagement practices of cocoa farming applied by cocoa farmers in Pangsan Villageare in accordance with the physical management practices in the cocoa GoodAgricultural Practices (GAP) guidelines, and it is known that farmers did not applyGood Handling Practices (GHP) to postharvest handling.

Abstract

Perception of Farmers on Special Efforts to Increase Rice, Corn and SoybeanProduction (The Case of SRI Technology in Subak Lungatad,Peguyangan Kangin Village, Denpasar City)The need for food is one of the main aspects for the survival of society. Special Foodfor food self-sufficiency 2015-2017 is the effort of the Ministry of Agriculture tosucceed in self-sufficiency in rice, corn, soybeans in 2017. One of the hopes as the bestsolution for agriculture in Indonesia in increasing production is through a method offarming patterns with the System of Rice Intensification (SRI). The purpose of thisstudy was to find out the perception of farmers on the Upsus Pajale program, especiallySRI technology in Subak Lungatad, Peguyangan Kangin Village, North DenpasarDistrict. The number of samples was 30 farmers. The data were gathered throughquestionnaires using quantitative and qualitative data types. The data that had beenprocessed were further analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis method.Research results show that the farmers' perceptions of SRI technology: (1) innovationwas in good category with a score of 3.96, (2) social aspects were in good category witha score of 3.61, (3) economic aspects were in good category with a score of 4.09. And(4) the technical/ environmental aspects were also in the good category with a score of3.48.Based on the results of the research and conclusions obtained, the suggestion that can bemade to the government is that they should provide more input on the SRI plantingsystem, both through technical guidance, field practice (making demonstration plots)and mentoring during each planting season, so that the results achieved could berailored to the expectations of all parties. It is also recommended that they should paymore attention to the rice sales system which is currently being sold using a slashsystem, with the calculation using the area (acre), thus making it difficult for farmers toobtain optimal benefits.

Abstract

Abstract Commodity Rice Partnership between P4S Sri Wijaya with Batusangian Subak, Gubug Village, Tabanan District, Tabanan Regency Rice farmers get uncertainty in the sale of production, so the partnership is one solution to get a certainty price. The purpose of research are to determine the partnerships management process that undertaken by Subak Batusangian farmers, knowing the benefits to farmers in terms of both technical and economic, and knowing the constraints faced by farmers P4S Sri Wijaya and Subak Batusangian in partnership. This study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that, partnerships management process undertaken by the farmer goes well. Application of partnership between P4S Sri Wijaya with Subak Batusangian is beneficial for both parties that partner. Based on the analysis of the level of profits earned by the farmers partners R / C is greater than 1, namely with a value of 2.33. The problem that finding on P4S Sriwijaya is difficulty of finding labor at harvest time and the price of rice are unstable for every period. While the constraints faced by farmers in the partnership that is the problem of delay in the companies providing fertilizer for farmers and harvest delays in production. Farmer partnerships with companies should be continued because there are give benefit. The companies should further improve services to farmers, copanies and farmers must be open to each other as well as establishing a good relationship so that in the future more profitable. Abstract

Segmenting, Targeting, and Positioning Strategies of Marketing JatiluwihOrganic Brown Rice in Bali Province A company cannot serve all consumers in a vast market. Therefore, if the companywishes to be in the market and win a competition, it must seek a strategy that canunderstand consumers and competitors. This study aimed to determine the marketsegment (segmenting), target market (targeting) and market position (positioning) oforganic red rice products of Jatiluwih Bali. The technique of determining samplesused accidental non-probabilitiy random sampling method. Segmenting and targetingwere done using cluster analysis and crosstab analysis tools. Positioning used Multidimensional scaling and Corespondence analysis. The results of this study showedthat there were 3 segments, with percentage of Segment-1 (49%), Segment-2 (31%)and Segment-3 (20%). Based on the market appeal, potential target market wassegment-3. Product positioning based on MDS analysis tool, Jatiluwih rice productwas not in any quadrant, so it showed no resemblance to the competitor's product.Positioning based on CA analysis, organic red rice products Jatiluwih Bali hadadvantages in health attributes, packaging and aroma. Suggestions that can be madeare that the company should implement strategies to increase sales by maintaining orincreasing the attributes of excellence, increasing price discounts and maintainingquality, developing promotional activities and diversification of processed red riceproducts.

Abstract

Analysis Of Raw Material Inventory Control of Tauco On The KetchupManalagi Company Denpasar BaliThis study was conducted to examine the essential part of a company namely rawmaterial. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of raw materialinventory control efficiency in implementing the manufacture company's rawmaterial inventory control systems are efficient. The actual raw material controllingon the Kecap Manalagi’s company is 2.500 kg, 23% holding cost, ordering cost perorder is Rp 1.300.000 and the price of tauco is Rp 9.925 per kg. Economic OrderQuantity (EOQ) method that should be done by the company is 7.275 kg, with sixtimes frequency in a year of ordering raw material, and the exact re-order point forcompany is 3.197 kg. The results showed that the total cost of inventory in the EOQmethod of Rp 16.608.313, while the total cost of the actual inventory of Rp27.020.437, so that savings are Rp 10.412.124 (38,5% of the actual total inventorycost). The suggestions that the authors recommend is (1) companies need to reviewthe control methods applied during this time, because it is based on the calculationmethod used by the researchers also companies need to review the ordering costand holding cost so the cost of the inventory can be minimize.

Abstract

Effect of Consumer Satisfaction on Brand Image of Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee (A Study in the Village Community of Landih, Bangli District, Bangli Regency) This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of consumer satisfaction on a brand image and the magnitude of the effect of customer satisfaction on the strength of brand associations, the uniqueness of brand associations, and the superiority of brand associations on Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee in the Landih Village, Bangli District, Bangli Regency. The analytical method used was quantitative-descriptive analysis. Data collection was done by observation,interview, and documentation. Selection of key informants and number of sample determination were done by purposive method. The sample used in this studyamounted to 50 samples. The variables in this study were the effect of consumer satisfaction on the brand image of Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee with theindicators used were customer values, customer responses, and customer perception using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis ofthe equation model formed was Y = 0,149 + 0,919X indicating the value of customer satisfaction on the Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee gave a positiveimpression so that placing a strong brand image and brand image of Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee would always be remembered, and ultimately consumeropportunities for repurchase the Cap Bunga Flamboyant Coffee brand became very large, which was followed by the strength of the increasingly strong brandassociation with a value of +0,875, the uniqueness of the brand association which was getting higher with a value of +0,921, and the superiority of the brandassociation which was getting better with the value of +0,952 assuming ceteris paribus or other factors that affect the brand image of Cap Bunga FlamboyantCoffee to remain constant.

Abstract

Marketing Efficiency Analysis of Wine Product by PT. Hatten Bali This research is aimed to acknowledge the system of the marketing channels and itsfunctions, calculate the margins of the marketing and producer share to alsoanalyzing the efficiency of overall products marketing system of hatten wineproducts by PT. Hatten Bali. The methods of data collection used are observation,interviews, and literatur reference. Methods for data collection in this study, wereobservation, interviews, and literatur reference. The samples using of 30 retailersaround Denpasar City and Badung Regency chosen with snowball sampling. Dataanalyzing by descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. The results showedthat marketing channels of PT. Hatten Bali involving the retailers from hotels, villas,restaurants, and grocery stores. There are two types of marketing channels, type oneis producer-consumer while type two is producer-retailers-consumer. The highestmarketing margin from type two is recorded 181.000 idr per bottle while the lowestmarketing margin coming from type one is 0.000 idr per bottle. The highestproducer’s share is on type one by 100% and the lowest is on type two by 43.92%.The highest price efficiency is on type two by 222.73% and the lowest is on type oneby 100%. The highest operational efficiency is on type two by 9.279,20% and thelowest recorded is on type one by 3.917,81%. Type one of marketing channels is themost efficient channel based on the analysis of margin marketing, produsen sharesand price efficiency. While type two is the most efficient channel of marketing basedon its operational efficiency analysis.

Abstract

Analysis of Business Feasibility Study in Bottled Drinking Water of PT.Amiro in Uma Jero Village, Busungbiu District, Buleleng Regency.Water is a major component in the human body, without which creatures cannotgrow and develop. Drinking water is a major component of the body; on averageeach person has 70-80 percent of water from his body weight. The community hasnow switched from consuming ordinary drinking water which is cooked intobottled water. Companies engaged in the BDW sector keep increasing andcontinue to expand their product networks. The purpose of this study was todetermine the bottled drinking water business at PT. Amirowhether it isfinancially feasible in terms of investment criteria, namely NPV, IRR, Net B / C,Payback Period and Sensitivity Analysis and the goal of the study was also toidentify the constraints faced by PT. Amiro in running a business. Based on thisresearch, it could be seen that the NPV value wasRp. 12,640,670,205, IRR35.79%, Net B / C 3.64, and the Payback Period was 8 years 3 months, thereforeit means that BDW business of PT. Amirois financially feasible to be carried out.Constraints in the feasibility study of PT. Amiro, in developing the businessprocess were that the licensing process took a lot of time to meet the requirementsneeded to obtain a business license such as the Agency of Food and Drug Control,Indonesian National Standard, Halal Certificate from MUI and ISO 9001. Amirois a new player in the BDW business and is not yet known by the public so itneeds a strategy to get market share from a very dense market.
