Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of open inquiry approach in introducing the early science learning to 5-6 years old children at TK Muslimat NU 14, Kendal. The type of this study is pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sampling applied purposive sampling technique with group B of TK Muslimat NU 14 Plantaran as experimental class. Hypothesis test in this study applied paired sample t-Test calculation obtained from pretest and posttest results. The t-test result obtained t value of -14.777 with significance (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the value of pretest and posttest. The mean is -12.76. The minus sign indicates that the average of the first group (pretest data) is smaller than the second group (posttest data). So, HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. It shows that there is difference of mean of pretest and posttest value. It can be concluded that the open inquiry approach is an effective approach used for the introduction of early science learning on 5-6 years old children. Abstract

The pluralism of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia often creates various problems in the layers of society. Like the many frequent anarchic acts, there are many racial, ethnic and religious conflicts. This all resulted in a diminishing sense of national unity and unity. The Indonesian people forget who he really is, who should live on the basis of Pancasila. The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data about the cultivation of the value of nationalism in children aged 5-6 years in terms of the application of media papan jodoh pancasila in TKIT Al-Husna, Mayong Subdistrict, Jepara District. The type of research used is (experimental research ). Sampling technique in this research is totality sampling (sample saturated). The sample in this research is 30 children. Methods of data collection in this study are observation, documentation and Likert scale use of nationalism value investing. The result of calculation based on test Paired Sample t Test obtained value-t table> t arithmetic> t table that is (-2.045> -16.434 or 16.434> 2.045), with sig = 0.000, so Ho rejected and Ha accepted means there are significant differences in planting the value of nationalism in children aged 5-6 years after applying the board media podasila pancasila. The significant difference can be seen from the sig value of 2 tailed <0,05 ie 0.000. It can also be seen from the average value obtained before and after the media applied pancasila board mate that is 107.63 to 136.27 So that an increase in score of 28.64.

Abstract

Learning that is in compliance with the environmental conditions of the child will bewell received. The cluster became one of the efforts in achieving the educational keberrasilan. The cluster is a cluster of parakeet which was in the tourist area of realmsand has the local resources. The goal of this research is to know the organizing strategy of learning in the development of the sub theme-based potential of the local cluster of parakeets and a supportive factor in the process of organizing it. The methods used in this research is a descriptive study of qualitative data collection techniques namely observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis technique used is a triangulation source. Informants in this study is the Chairman of the cluster and the cluster members informant eight Parakeets. The results of this research were obtained that there were seven steps of elaboration undertaken in organizing the learning strategy. The step was the presentation of the contents of the framework up to the stage of granting summary. Development of sub theme was performed on the stage of elaboration of coverage. Consider the learning capacity of the well. The development of the theme of learning that is conducted in accordance with the principle of the development of the theme of learning that is close to children, simple, attractive and isidental. The resulting conclusions in this study is a strategy of organizing learning in the development of the sub theme-based local potential cluster parakeets do the stages ofelaboration as well. Factors that support is the environment around the cluster of parakeets can be a learning resource that is good because it has the potential of various local aspects. Abstract

The development of children's creativity is an important activity in order to develop the potential of children from an early age because, at this time the potential of children's creativity is at the peak of development to be sharpened and directed. The creative potential is very important for the development of children it is a creativity of the children in painting. Usually people will use conventional media to paint such as paintbrush, liquid dye and canvas but, as the time progressed painting can use an unconventional media that is waste. the painting technique used id mosaic technique. Problem in this research is whether there is difference of creativity of painting using waste media for early age children. This research aimed to know the differences of creativity of painting using waste media for early age children. The method used to collect data is by quantitative approach with the research subjects of children aged 5-6 years who are in class B1 and B2 Islamic Centre Kindergarten Brebes. The data collection technique in this research using painting creativity scale of early age children, while the data analysis using independent t-Test sample. The result of this research based on statistics, obtained the mean value 94,75 for experiment group and 86,13 for control group. The result of the research stated that there is a differences of creativity of painting through waste media. The creativity of painting through waste media is higher than without waste media with experimental group mean values of 94,75 and 86,13 for the control group.

Abstract

History education is the process of inheritance of cultural values, knowledge, skills and historical struggles of a series of past events that have already occurred which organized to function as a material in the process of learning for learners to develop awareness of history so it will not fade away within the young generation as a successor for the nation which have an impact on nationalism. Establishing history education needs to be done from an early age so that children become accustomed to observe and interpret historical events to prepare for the future. Establishing history education has to be done in a proper method. The researchers used storytelling method in history education. The purposes of this study are to explain the difference in the nationalism attitudes of early childhood students at the time before and after given treatments and to know the improvement of nationalism attitudes of early childhood students after given the treatments in order to record the results. This study used quantitative research method with quasi experimental design. The data was taken using questionnaires of nationalism scale in the early childhood students which was filled by their classroom teachers. The population of this study is all students in Handayani Kindergarten, Brebes; while the sample is 22 children in class B2 which became experiment class provided with treatments by the researchers using storytelling method in history education. Analysis of validity using product moment where 3 out of 40 items of the instruments scale of nationalism attitudes are fall and the results of the calculation with cronbach’s alpha reliability obtained score as much as 0.754 > 0.06 has proven that the instruments are reliable so that it can be used as a measurement tool in this study. The results of the study are significant in which pre-test average minimum value is 91 and average maximum value is 84.68. While the average minimum value of the post-test after the treatments is 99 and the average maximum value is 109.14. The normality of the test using a trust level 0.05% paired sample t-test so the hypothesis is accepted. There is a significant increase in early childhood students’ nationalism attitudes implementation of storytelling method in history education to develop early childhood nationalism of 16.07%.

Abstract

Presentation method of the work is a method of presentation by using the work of the child as a medium in the delivery of material to his friends. Speaking skills are very important for the individual to the task of further development in the life of the community and in the world of work, thus honing the ability of speaking skills is very important. The aim of this research is to develop children's speaking skill, including linguistic aspects (pronunciation, vocabulary, and sentence formation) and non-linguistic aspects (courage, fluency, and body expression), and also to find out the great improvement of speech skills of 5- 6 years in Kindergarten ABA 03 BOJA. The type of this research is experimental research with one group pretest and posttest design. The research was done by giving 12 treatments / treatment consisting of 37 children in group B. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis with SPSS 16 application. The result of the research using the method of presentation of the work before being given the action showed the ability of speaking skills of children with category Not Developed (BB) 12 children with percentage of 32.43%, category Started Developing (MB) is 13 children with percentage of 35.13%, Developed As Expected (BSH ) Of 10 children with a percentage of 27.02%, and Very Good Developing (BSB) are 2 children with 5.4% percentage, and after being given Action category Developing (MB) 12 children with percentage of 32.43%, Expanding As Expected (BSH) 18 children with a percentage of 48.64%, and the category Very Good Developing (BSB) is 7 children with percentage 18.91%. Based on the result of the research shows that the method of presentation of the work improves the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten ABA 03 Boja which before given the action that is 32.42% and after given the action that is 67.55%.

Abstract

This education aims to build human resources that not only develop in academic, but also the guidance of the students’ mental. One of the students' mental guidance is for giving characters education. Islam is one of the basics can be used in implementing the characters education in school can integrate the characters education into the curriculum based on islamic. This research aims to find the information about the implementation of the characters education in preschool that has the curriculum based on Islamic. This study aims to describe the implementation of the characters education based on the akidah and to know the problems and the supporting factors of the implementation of the characters education in early childhood (4-6 years old) in TK Khalifah 29 Surakarta. The research applies a qualitative descriptive study. This research is located in TK Khalifah, Number 29, Surakarta. A headmaster and the teachers of the class A group and class B group as informant. In this research, data was collected by the observations, interviews, and documentations. The validity of this research is using triangulation and the steps of the analysis by Miles and Huberman method, that is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and the last drawing conclusion. The results of this research are the characters education of this TK was applied by intergrating the curriculum of the tauhid and the entrepreneurship into three steps of the characters education, planning, implementation, and evaluation by using habituations, exemplarys, disciplinaries, direct practices, assignments, and conversations. The implementation of the characters education based on aqidah have problems, such as 1) parents who have different visions and goals with the schools and parents who are less attention to their children 2) the lack of the teachers’ creativity in making RPPH 3) the age of the children. While for the supporting factors, such as the parents’ support, societies and the professional teachers and infrastructure facilities adequately. Keywords: Character Education, Akidah, Early Chilhood

Abstract

The behavior of healthy life is associated with someone’s effort to preserve, maintain and improve their health. The hadits learning in RA Dabin Anggrek, thereis hadith about cleanliness that reflects the child’s healty life behaviour. However, there are still many children who do not behave according to the hadith. Therefore, it takes an interesting learning methods. One of these methods is role playing, through this method children can practice healthy behavior directly, so it would be impressed on children. This study aims to determine the differences in health behavior of children before and after treatment, as well as knowing the differences in health behavior of children between the control group and the experimental group. The research method that is used is experimental. The research design that wast aken is Quasi Experimental Design with this type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design.The population in this study are all children of group B in Dabin Mawar, with 36 children for sample consists of 18 children from RA Miftahul Hidayah (experimental group) and 18 children from RA Nurul Huda (control group). The results obtained from the experimental group had Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. It means that the results of the pretest and posttest has significant difference. On the other hand, the control group had Sig (2-tailed) 0.120 > 0.05. It means that the pretest and posttest are relatively similar. After being given the treatment, the experimental group had result Sig(2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05. It means that there are significant differences in both of groups. Based on these descriptions, it can be concluded that the method of playing a role in learning hadith of cleanliness can increase the healthy behaviors in children in group B Dabin Mawar Gunungpati Semarang.

Abstract

Individual competitive sport club that children participate in make the level of their competitiveness increased. Children are required always compete and win until the emphasis on victory is often by the tendency to apply the concept of 'win by all means' that can affect the development of children social interaction. The purposed of this research is to know the image of early childhood social interaction capability that participated in badminton, inline skate, swimming, taekwondo, and gymnastic club in Semarang based on parents’ perception. Research method in this study used quantitative research with comparative approach. The subject of this research is 95 parents of 4-6 years children that participate in competitive sport club in Semarang and also domiciled in Semarang. Quota sample is used as sampling technique. Total of subject obtained is 45 people consisted of 9 parents of badminton athletes, 9 parents of inline skate athletes, 9 parents of swimming athletes, 9 parents of taekwondo athletes, and 9 parents of gymnastic athletes. Scale of early childhood social interaction ability is used as data collection tool whereas F-test is used as data analysis. Resulted of the research based on statistical calculation shows F calculated 1,421 whereas F table 0,61 which mean F calculated < F table (1,421 < 2,61) and p value > 0,05 which is 0,245 (0,245 > 0,05) which means there is no difference of early childhood social interaction ability based on sports club. Based on the research results can be conclude that there were 2 sport club with social interaction ability at a medium level and that was badminton with the mean score was 101,33 and inline skate with the mean score was 109,44. Then there were 3 sport clubs with social interaction ability at a hight level and that was swimming club with the mean score was 112,33, taekwondo with the mean score was 112,67 and gymnastic with the mean score was 114,11.

Abstract

Important prosocial behavior developed in the pattern of family care is seen from the more modern times of development and increasing juvenile delinquency. Parenting patterns can lead children to prosocial behavior and anti social behavior. Parents are not only responsible for the growth of children but also in building relationships between family members. A relationship certainly can not be separated from the communication between members. Through the family, parents' interpersonal communication, especially the father is able to give influence to the formation of a child's attitude, especially his prosocial behavior. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the father's interpersonal communication with the behavior of prosocial children aged 4-6 years in Semarang. The method used in this study is quantitative correlational is research that aims to find a relationship between two or more aspects. Data collection in this study using two scales, namely the scale of interpersonal communication and the scale of prosocial behavior. The population of this study is all fathers who have children aged 4-6 years in Semarang city that carried out in three areas namely Tambak Aji, Kalimasada and Bandarharjo with sampling techniques as many as 100 fathers. Methods of data analysis in this study using product moment correlation analysis. The results of this study indicate there is a positive relationship between father's interpersonal communication with child's prosocial behavior obtained from rxy = 0.572 with significance value p <0.05. The direction of positive relationship shows the higher interpersonal communication father, the higher the behavior of prosocial children aged 4-6 years in Semarang. Conversely, the lower the father's Interpersonal communication, the lower the child's prosocial behavior.
