Abstract

The role of parents and teachers in changing gender stereotype may a new discussion in Indonesia. The socialication still limiited, thus this topic help inform public about the development, improvement, and how to change gender stereotype in early childhood. This study aimed to explore parents’ and teachers’ experiences, perceptions, and expectations regarding prevention and management of early childhood gender. The assessment can be done by each thing related to children at home or school e.g. toys, jobs, etc. Need times to socialize and overcome the stereotype for parents, teacher, and also the community around the children. This is necesarry  for the development of the children to allow them thinking “out of the box”.

Abstract

A disaster is an event that can happen anywhere, anytime and overwrite anyone. For it is necessary preparation for the community in the area of disaster-prone to know what things to do in facing disaster. This study aims to measure the level of disaster preparedness in children through disaster response training in drama centers TKIT Baitussalam 2 Cangkringan Sleman. Through disaster response training, it can be known whether or not there is a difference in the level of preparedness of children.The method used in this study is experimental. Research using one group pretest posstest design that experiments conducted in a single group without a comparison group. The research instrument with preparedness parameter is using Guttman scale with a straight answer "Yes" and "No".The population in this study are all children in TKIT Baitussalam 2 Cangkringan totaling 138. The sample in this research is class of B2 which amounted to 28. The sampling techniques used in this research is Purporsive sampling. Data analysis techniques used in this research is descriptive analysis, normality test and inferensial test with Paired Sample t-Test.Test the hypothesis States that Ha is received and Ho is rejected. The calculation results of Paired t-test between pretest and posttest experimental groups with a value of thitung =-41,086 and the sig (2-tailed) < 0.05. The average rating on stage initially 9.04 pretest became 24.86 posttest, so there is a significant difference between the preparedness of children before and after disaster response training.

Abstract

The attitude of ethnocentrism are often seen, especially in a multicultural environment like in TK Kuncup Melati Semarang. Therefore, it is very necessary to   instill tolerances character children at the kindergarten. This study aims to determine the effect of ethnocentrism on the development of the character of tolerance in children aged 4-6 years old in TK Kuncup Melati Semarang. This research uses descriptive statistics quantitative research. The sampling uses saturation sampling conducted in TK Kuncup Melati Semarang. The test results showed that Fcount F = 12.901 and t test results showed that t count = 3.592 with significance 0.001 < 0.05 means Ha is accepted which means no influence on the character of tolerance ethnocentrism children aged 4-6 years old in TK Kuncup Melati Semarang. While the results show the value of the coefficient of determination R Square = 0.212, which means ethnocentrism affect the character of tolerance of 21.2%. These results indicate that the effect on the character of tolerance ethnocentrism children aged 4-6 years old in TK Kuncup Melati Semarang is equal to 21.2%.

Abstract

The pluralism of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia often creates various problems in the layers of society. Like the many frequent anarchic acts, there are many racial, ethnic and religious conflicts. This all resulted in a diminishing sense of national unity and unity. The Indonesian people forget who he really is, who should live on the basis of Pancasila. The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data about the cultivation of the value of nationalism in children aged 5-6 years in terms of the application of media papan jodoh pancasila in TKIT Al-Husna, Mayong Subdistrict, Jepara District. The type of research used is (experimental research ). Sampling technique in this research is totality sampling (sample saturated). The sample in this research is 30 children. Methods of data collection in this study are observation, documentation and Likert scale use of nationalism value investing. The result of calculation based on test Paired Sample t Test obtained value-t table> t arithmetic> t table that is (-2.045> -16.434 or 16.434> 2.045), with sig = 0.000, so Ho rejected and Ha accepted means there are significant differences in planting the value of nationalism in children aged 5-6 years after applying the board media podasila pancasila. The significant difference can be seen from the sig value of 2 tailed <0,05 ie 0.000. It can also be seen from the average value obtained before and after the media applied pancasila board mate that is 107.63 to 136.27 So that an increase in score of 28.64.

Abstract

Problem in this research is the behavior of children with autism is different from the behavior of light category children without special needs while it is playing. Sensorymotor ability of autistic children seen by playing sensorymotor. Sensorymotor play to help reveal stimuli through the senses that occur physical relationship with the environment. This study aims to explain the behavior of autistic children in the lightweight category as well as contributing factors sensorymotor play activities of children with autism, light category in TK Talenta Semarang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study and using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation of the data it collects. Determination of informants is purposive sampling informants selected is one parent with a child with autism is the mother, two teachers and three students of the class with children with autism. Data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman. This research was conducted in TK Talenta Semarang. TK Semarang is an inclusive school that accepts students with various needs of children without any distinction as well as children with autism. The result of this research is the behavior of children with autism in sensorymotor play in TK Talenta Semarang deficient behavior and excessive behavior. Behavior deficient characterized by lack of focuschildren in learning activities, while the excessive  behavior characterized by an aggressive child behavior, run-run-off, and hurt others. Factors supporting the activity of sensorymotor play in TK Talenta Semarang is learning very comfortable room for props complete and their students are taught to accept the advantages and disadvantages of his friends. Teacher motivation is very important in the learning process of encouragement contained in a person to try to establish behavioral changes that better meet their needs.

Abstract

One of the challenges faced by education systems in around the world is inclusion. It is not simply about placing pupils with SEN in mainstream classrooms, but also examines about the quality of education received by all groups of learners and includes student’s presence, participation, acceptance, and achievement. This research was held in the UK which has an implement for years. This study was designed in the case study with one single case design. In this case, school AS was the single case and researcher investigated three different ranges of classrooms with different ranges of age groups. Abstract

This research attempts to look using of the puzzle 3D puzzle in media therapy to autis syndrom for development of the fine motor in Talenta’s therapy Semarang. This research in a qualitative methode with the data collection with the observation, interviews and documentation. The analysys research has been concluded that the children autis affect generation of kids able to puzzle 3D puzzle. The insensity of the time it takes is long as children can’t coordinate eyes and hand well. With the media puzzle 3D puzzle could be used to lessen the activity been often held by the autis, as hit, clawing, vlaping, etc. A role that puzzle 3D puzzle this as a media play therapy can be given to the autis in any therapy program to give stimulate fine motor skill autis for child development.

Abstract

Role playing method is very effective to be used for introducing values to children. If the child is already used to determine these values then it will be easier to implement them. And if it is done in a fun way, that will be memorable for children. Teachers are constantly seeking creative new approaches in solving problems, not fixated on a certain way that is monotonous, but choose other appropriate variations. Role play is one alternative that can be taken. In this case, role play is used to apply the values of entrepreneurship to students. Under these conditions, the formulation of the problem to be studied is how the implementation of the values of creative entrepreneurship and self-reliance through role playing method in the kindergarten. This study uses a qualitative method. Reasons to use qualitative research was because the object is natural, in addition to the presentation of data using descriptions that describe the real situation. The results of this study are in the center of role play, before the event takes place, the teacher provides an explanation of the activities to be carried out. Teachers offered the role to be played to the child. Teachers also provide information on what items are to be used in the role-play activity. Then the teacher gives children the freedom to play their respective roles. Teachers record all the child's behavior. From these activities children will show their creative and self-reliant value.

Abstract

Problems in early childhood that occurs in early childhood education institutions, especially group of TK B in PAUD Terpadu Lab Belia Semarang is found that the percentage amount is very much in the low category of emotional intelligence of children and has never been applied media wordless picture books. The research problem is Is media use wordless picture books can improve emotional intelligence in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Belia Integrated Lab. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase emotional intelligence in children aged 5-6 years in early childhood Semarang Belia Integrated Lab in terms of the application of wordless picture books. This study aims to determine the increase in emotional intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at the PAUD Terpadu Lab Belia Semarang in terms of the application of Wordless Picture Books. This study uses the Pre-Experimental Design method with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design approach. The sample is students of kindergarten group B aged 5-6 years as many as 30 children. The sampling technique in this study is the purposive sample technique. Data collection techniques are observation and Likert scale. The data shows an increase in the mean value of 103.30 to 129.20, resulting in an increase in score of 25.9. Based on the results of calculations using Paired Sample t-Test obtain the value of -ttable> -tcounts> ttable, that is (-2,042>-16,160 or 16,160>2,042) with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 which means there is a difference between the pretest and posttest values. The conclusions are that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, meaning that there is an increase in emotional intelligence through Wordless Picture Books for children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Terpadu Lab Belia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of environmental sanitation on clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of children aged 4-6 years in RW 3 Kampung Pelangi. This research is a quantitative research with a type of survey research and quantitative descriptive design, as well as a questionnaire as a measurement tool. The population of this study is 48 children aged 4-6 years in RW 3 Kampung Pelangi, Randusari Village, in South Semarang District. Sampling is taken with a Nonprobability Sampling-Purposive Sampling technique of 32 children. Analysis of the data is simple linear regression analysis. The results show that based on the results of data from the Coefficients table as the output of a simple linear regression analysis, the R Square value is 0.374. Thus it means that environmental sanitation had a contribution of 37.4% in clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) of children aged 4-6 years in RW 3 Kampung Pelangi, while the other 62.6% is explained by other variables not examined. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence between environmental sanitation and healthy living behaviors in children aged 4-6 years in Kampung Pelangi, Randusari Village, South Semarang District, Semarang City. This is evidenced by the significance value of 0.00, which means 0.00 < 0.05. Suggestions related to this research are the efforts to cleanliness and personal and environmental health for children should be intensified, especially the community members as household organizers through socialization, counseling, or other health promotion activities so that they are aware, aware, able, and willing to be improved and maintaining environmental sanitation followed by PHBS.
