Abstract

The research aim to analyze teaching factory as product-based learning model that utilizes the synergy of schools with industry to produce graduates who are competent and in line with the needs of the business and industry world. The CIPP program evaluation model is designed to improve the program implementation system comprehensively so that it can be considered in the future for implementing the program. SMK Pancasila 1 Kutoarjo has implemented a teaching factory learning program in order to improve the competence of its students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, for data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Researchers conducted interviews with school principals, program administrators, TBSM skill competency heads and teachers of automotive productive subjects at SMK Pancasila 1 Kutoarjo. The results of this study indicate that; (1) the results of the context evaluation regarding the implementation of the teaching factory learning program are in line with the school's vision, mission, and goals, (2) the results of the evaluation of inputs have gone well, 3) the results of the evaluation of the process in the teaching factory learning program have gone well because so far the learning process of the program has been running well according to the plan and has not encountered any significant obstacles; (3) the results of product evaluation in the implementation of the teaching factory learning program have gone well.

Abstract

In an environment full of changes, both due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the technological advancements, teachers as employees of an organization needed adaptive performance to support organizational success. Employee Adaptive Performance was related to many factors, such as organizational climate, knowledge sharing behavior and innovative work behavior. This study aimed to examine the effect of organizational climate, knowledge sharing behavior, and innovative work behavior to the employee adaptive performance of the teachers. The research subjects were the entire population of the teachers at Sekolah Musik Indonesia in nine cities, a total of 131 teachers. This study used a quantitative approach PLS-SEM with path analysis. The results showed that organizational climate, knowledge sharing behavior, and innovative work behavior had a positive effect on employee adaptive performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the planning and management of primary school BOS funds, in accordance with established regulations, in order to achieve national standards for school education and the government’s goal of allocating BOS funds. An important factor in improving the quality of education is sufficient education funding. The implementation of 12-year compulsory education is expected to increase access through BOS funds by the community, as well as provide more benefits to people who do not receive educational services. This research is to understand and analyze the effectiveness of school operational assistance funds (BOS) in the quality management of elementary school education in the Gugus Dewi Sartika, Bergas District, Semarang Regency. This research uses qualitative research that aims to explain the phenomenon in depth through data collection. Therefore, in this study, the problem of data depth (quality) is emphasized more than the amount of data (quantity). This study uses a multi-case design where this research is used to understand the similarities and differences between several cases studied. There is a priority plan in the school activity budget plan (RKAS), using the BOS budget that has been analysed. The use of the BOS budget is planned, and in the implementation of the budget, the BOS budget is used as planned, and has also succeeded in achieving diverse results, the improvement of students, educators, and school achievements, and a well-organized school environment for improving the quality of basic education in the Gugus Dewi Sartika, Bergas district, Semarang Regency.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine teacher performance based on learning planning, learning, and learning evaluation. This research approach is qualitative in the form of case studies. Data acquisition is done by observation, interview, and document study. Data sources in this study include school principals, class teachers, and certain subject teachers. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using qualitative analysis, namely, the results of the study will be explained in words so that the researchers can describe the results of the research in depth in accordance with the actual conditions in the field. The results of research on several public elementary schools in the Gandrungmangu District of Cilacap Regency regarding teacher performance include (1) Learning Planning Aspects: From 34 teachers there are 20 teachers who can compile and create annual programs, semester programs, and learning implementation plans (RPP) independently while 14 other teachers still get help from other people and take references from the internet. (2) Aspects of Learning Implementation: In the use of learning methods and strategies as well as the delivery of material using the learning system (face to face) and online (online) by including parents in the implementation of learning, the use of media for learning includes mobile phones and laptop PCs, and learning resources use Package books, student worksheets (LKS), and websites. (3) Learning Evaluation Aspects: The teacher takes a system approach by paying attention to input, process, and output. The types of evaluations used are formative and summative.

Abstract

Equivalency Education is one of the parts of non-formal education which quality has no doubt by society; it is related with the quality of the graduates, limited resources and facility, management quality of education unit, and limited fund. Since 2015, the government assistance which manifested by operational assistance fund for equivalency education has aimed to improve the education quality. But in the implementation, there was some obstacles caused by the lack of financial management quality in CLC unit and the decision factor of regional government. It is interesting to research substances related with the quality of education operational assistance fund in CLC. The aim of this study is to analyze planning process, organization, implementation, evaluation and monitoring also the impact of education operational assistance fund towards the service quality of equivalency education learning in some CLC units. This study uses descriptive qualitative approach. This study focuses on planning, organization, implementation and reporting in the management of Operational Assistance of Equivalency Education. The data collection uses the qualitative method and the data legality is done with triangulation technique through the observation, interview, documentation study, and triangulation resource. The primary data obtained from the observation to an education unit and interview with the Head of Society Education Division of Education Department, The Head of CLC units, Treasurer of CLC units, Tutor/Teacher, and also the students of equivalency program at three CLC units in Semarang Regency, they are: PKBM Mandiri, PKBM Mitra Harapan, and PKBM Kasih Ummi. The secondary data obtained from documentation study related with the management of Operational Assistance of Equivalency Education. The results showed that in the planning stage, CLCs have involved some internal and external parties to identify the learning needs in arranging school activity and fund, although some involved only selected personnel. The division of tasks and responsibilities of Operational Assistance Implementation fund has well done, but there is still a centralized management to the organizer. The usage of fund has matched with the technique guidance. The monitoring has done internally and externally by the organizer of CLC, Non-Formal Education Inspector of Regency Area Coordinator in Education Division and Education Department. The responsibility manifested as the report of the organizer to the Education Department. The impact of operational assistance implementation fund is to improve the learning service, the number of students and their motivation to study also improving the tutor performance. Based on the analyzing study results, management of operational assistance fund which consists of planning process, organizing, actuating, and monitoring in three units of CLC has well done, but there must be an improvement in organization and involvement process to a transparent implementation program and also the improvement of financial organizer in CLC unit. The impacts which emerge from operational assistance implementation fund has shown in the improvement of service quality, learning quality, the number of students and also tutor performance, but there is not an impact shown towards the quality of learning and graduates.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the right strategy is to manage student diversity in a multicultural-based educational setting. The diversity of multicultural society in Indonesia can be seen as one of the wealth of the nation but is also very prone to trigger conflicts and divisions. The link between education and the diversification of multiculturalism is a solution to diverse cultural realities, so as to minimize conflicts that are initiated by differences. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that focused on strategic management activities: planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies. The data collection techniques are gathered through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. Finally, the result shows that SMK Bakti Karya has implemented multicultural education well, this can be seen from the process of implementing school strategies that always align with the school’s vision and mission as a school that provides multicultural education. The process of inculcating the values of multiculturalism is always embedded in every learning process so that it is carried out in harmony without discrimination. This shows that the school has a high commitment to carrying out multiculturalism education in accordance with the school’s vision the concept of a public-friendly school.

This study uses a qualitative approach, namely research that prioritizes data collection or the reality of the problem based on the disclosure of what has been explored by the respondent. Sampling of data sources is carried out purposively, data collection techniques are triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and qualitative research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization. Abstract

In accordance with current technological developments, the development of a service system has led to the use of website-based information technology, where all information in the system can be displayed using Internet media. For Integrated services implemented at the Faculty of Law it is based on Law Number 14 of 2008 concerning Public Information Disclosure, Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services, and Presidential Regulation Number 97 of 2014 concerning One-Stop Integrated Implementation. That the common thread between the KIP Law and the Public Service Law is an effort to increase public participation and participation in public policies. The poor performance of public services so far is partly due to the lack of transparency in the implementation of public services (Eko Noer Kristiyanto, 2016). This research aims to make it easier for stakeholders to get fast, easy and transparent services, improve the quality and quantity of services, integrate service systems by providing added value to increase benefits, speed up services and facilitate coordination, all series of services can be monitored properly. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research on the SI-LAW Service System, Faculty of Law, Semarang State University, were built using the SI-Law Service System using PHP and the MySQL database version 7.4.32 with the codeigniter framework facilitated by the Information and Communication Technology Technical Implementation Unit (UPT ICT) UNNES. In increasing the strengthening of public services through a website-based system, overall respondents rate above 50%, which means that the service has been received and is running well. There is a value that is below 50%, namely the service complaint element which still has the lowest score (44.8%), namely the complaint service element is still considered not fast enough, so it needs to be continuously improved so that the complaint service is in accordance with procedures and is handled quickly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the direct or indirect influence of the principal's leadership and work discipline through work motivation on teacher performance. Education in schools can not be separated from the role of teachers, where teachers in education are needed during the teaching and learning process and distribute information that happens in school. Teachers are the most important human resources capable of assisting students in gaining knowledge, and insight, and forming good personalities at school. Teachers play a big role and influence in realizing educational goals. This research is quantitative by using path analysis as the data analysis using SPSS and Sobel Test Calculator. The sample of this study was 67 students, consisting of 18 elementary schools throughout the Kadipaten District, and taken using proportionated cluster random sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The results showed that Direct leadership, work discipline, and work motivation affect teacher performance. While the indirect effect of motivation is able to mediate the influence of leadership and work discipline on teacher performance. The conclusion is there is a direct influence of the principal's leadership and work discipline on teacher performance, as well as indirect work motivation, which can mediate the influence of the independent variable to the dependent.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the planning, organizing, mobilization, controlling of the specialization program in MTs Negeri 1 Pemalang. This research approach is a qualitative approach (qualitative research) with a case study design. Data acquisition is carried out by means of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study show that drawn (1) Planning of the specialization superior class program is carried out by conducting strategic analysis. (2) Organizing a specialization superior class program, namely by forming a special organizational structure. (3) The mobilization or implementation of the specialization superior class program is carried out by selecting inputs, namely prospective new students through the New Student Admissions (PPDB) system, then accompanied by the process of processing these inputs. (4) Control of the specialization superior class program shall be carried out using the attendance list as a source of information related to the implementation of the superior class program. The filling of the attendance list in each meeting session in the classroom is filled in both by the teacher / tutor and by the student.
