This research was intended to develop an innovative conceptual model for early childhood education programs to develop early childhood character through Javanese traditional game. The research employed a research and development approach. Two categories of the subject were used for this research; direct subjects, consist of 2-4-age; and indirect subjects consisting of teacher and materials. These subjects were taken by means of purposive random sampling. The needed data were collected by means of interviews and literature reading. The analyzes showed that subjects, both from student and teachers were highly enthusiastic playing those traditional games. These traditional games had simple rules, easy to apply especially for toddler. Besides, these traditional games had moral value to build toddler’s character.  This model has been effectively proven to build toddlers’ characters successfully. Teachers actively reviewed the learning outcomes of the children and gave useful inputs for further development for them. Generally speaking, it can be infered that by using this model has resulted on the improvement of toddlers’ characters which is indicated by self-quality. Therefore, it is recommended that the socializations of this model should not do by the school only, but also community members especially family. How to citePranoto, Y., Sugiyo, S., & Hong, J. In the second experiment, there are  8 children in the control group and 9 children in the experiment group. The emergent literacy test that made by the researcher  was used to determine the emergent literacy development of the subjects. The Mann Whitney test statistical method indicated significant gain between the experimental group and the control group. A Wilcoxon test revealed a significant gain in emergent literacy development for the experimental group. Therefore, this study found that a  caregiver  on  storybook  reading  may  lead  to  a  possible  positive  influenced    in  emergent  literacy development for the pre-kindergarten children whose caregivers attended the training program. How to citeAstuti, T., & Ekowarni, E. The subjects were students of PG Paud force in 2013, amounting to 36 people. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Research data collected quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data were analyzed using the statistical t-test while the qualitative data were analyzed an inductively model of "flow analysis". The analysis results showed that the application of the innovative strategies of Contextual Teaching and Learning aided teaching materials based culture and national character, can enhance the learning process associated with the character / attitude (attitude) and learning outcomes related to the mastery of the material significantly. It is influenced by both the lecturer's ability to design and put it into practice, which is owned by the learning potential of students, teaching habits, reinforcement provided by the lecturer, who developed PDA mindset of students, and a conducive learning environment. The advice given is to improve the process and outcomes, especially in college students APGPAUD Prodi, should be designed in a more meaningful learning, is a student center, and supported by teaching materials that integrate the content lectures with various noble character both in design and in its implementation in the classroom. How to citeKurniah, N.
