Abstract

The research aims to study the ability of Azolla pinata in substituting nitrogen requirement of rice plants at a low dose of urea fertilizer. Factorial experiment arranged in randomized complete design (RCD) with four combinations of treatments and 6 replications. The first factor is the dose of urea with 2 dose level, ie, without urea (U0) and 100 kg urea ha-1 (U1). As a second factor is the provision of water plant Azolla pinnata with a degree without Azolla (A0) and Azolla 100 g m-2 (A1). The experimental results show that: (1) water plant azolla increased height, dry weight, productive tillers and dry weight of paddy rice crops, (2) Provision of a Urea increase high, dry weight, productive tillers and grain dry weight of rice plants, and (3) water plants azolla interacts with urea in increasing plant dry weight and grain dry weight of paddy. Abstract

The aim of this study was to know the effect of temperature shock gift time distance from fertilization on the triploidy individual process, persentage of hatching rate and survival rate of larva patin catfish. Temperature shock gift time distance treatment from fertilization process is given each 120 second, 180 second, 240 second and 300 second in temperature 40C during 90 second. Each treatment is done as much as 3 times. Hatch and larva maintenance is done in aquarium and hapa for fingerling activity. The result shows that temperature shock gift time distance treatment from fertilization process gives real result on the triploidy individual procces in patin catfish (p<0,05). Highest percentage triploidy individual is got in temperature shock gift time distance from fertilization process 180 second as big as 83,33 %. The growth level patin catfish day 28 show enhanced in line with individual percentage enhanced triploidy from each treatment. The highest growth rate is got from temperature shock gift time distance treatment from fertilization process as big as 11,13 %. Keywords: catfish, triploidy, time distance, temperature shock

Abstract

This study was aims to determine the effect of organic matter kind, phosphate fertilizers, phosphate solubilizing bacteri, and an interaction effect between type of organic matter with phosphate fertilizers, and phosphate solubilizing bacteri on vigour of oil palm at ultisol. The study was designed as a factorial in a randomized block design and each treatment was repeated 3 (three) times. The treatment consisted of 3 (three) factors. First factor were kind of organic matter: bagase and empty fruit bunches of oil palm, and without organic matter; second factor were Phospate fertilizer consisted of 45 grams of P2O5 per tree (the recommended dose) or 125 g SP-36 and 56.25 g per tree (125% recommended dose) or 156.25gSP-36; and third factor were with and without of posphat solubilizing bacteri. The results showed that: the organic material bagasse provided vegetative characters (leaf number, petiole length, leaf angle, leaf chlorophyll content, and in the number of leaves) of oil palm plantations in the Ultisol was better than empty fruit bunches of oil palm plantations in ultisol, and empty fruit bunches of palm oil gave the generative character (the number of female flowers, sex ratio) on oil palm plantations in the Ultisol better than bagasse. Key words: organic matter, phosphate fertilizer, phosphate solubilizing bacteria, vigour of oil palm before producted, and ultisol.

Abstract

Land ownership is an important factor for the Indonesian population who lives still depend on agriculture. Ownership of land is not only important for agriculture but also to assess the needs of others in their social life. So, land not only serves as an asset but can also function as a commodity that can be traded, it also serves as a social status for their owners. Land transactions, especially in rural areas, expansive effect on tenure and rural incomes, which may have implications for the emergence of a variety of land tenure in the countryside. The results PATANAS (Panel Petani Nasional) 2010 conducted by the Center for Social and Enonomi of Agriculture, over the period 2007 to 2010 shows that the country has decreased, especially in Java land, while the villages outside Java are experiencing the opposite of a sharp increase in ownership. This indicates that the Panel Petani Nasional for 3 (three) years, indicating that that in that period there has been a fluctuation in land ownership. Whilst the change is not so prominent, but the tunakisma (lendless) in rural areas are likely to continue to grow. This certainly has implications to changing socio-economic conditions for rural communities concerned, same with the changing status of tenure communities. This paper is part of research that focuses on PATANAS 2010 villages based producer of rice paddy fields as national Keywords: Pattern Dynamics Control, Wetland, Rural Areas
