Abstract

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is the first pandemic in history where technologies and social media are used on a large scale to make people safe, informed, productive, and connected. At the same time, these technologies enabled the rise of the infodemic, which endangered pandemic control. This study aimed to assess COVID-19 information exposure in the community, the efforts to find related information in online media, and COVID-19 preventive behavior. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 909 participants in Indonesia using the consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed through social media (WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook) and analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate analysis (Chi-square test), and multivariate analysis (multiple logistic regression). The results showed that about 838 (92.2%) participants said they often or always obtain information about COVID-19 online, 662 (72.8%) participants stated that information from online sources increased their knowledge of the disease, and 728 (80.1%) said that online information enabled them to make preventive efforts. Marital status (AOR: 1.81, p-value = 0.002) and perceived susceptibility (AOR: 1.42, p-value= 0.011) were the most influential factors for COVID-19 preventive behaviors. Information sources and channels frequently accessed by the community must be professionally managed by the government as valuable tools for mitigating an epidemic or pandemic.

Abstract

Analisis menggunakan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) yang meliputi lima indikator: perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, behavioral intention to use, dan actual system use.

Abstract

Background: Maternal and child health is one part of the SDGs. The transformation of health technology requires the development and use of digitalization technology in the health sector. The e-KIA Cohort application was introduced in 2021 by the Ministry of Health and in 2022 it will only begin to be implemented in Denpasar City. However, until now there has been no research describing the implementation of e-Cohort in Denpasar City. Aims: : This research is to describe the implementation of the E-Cohort Application in recording and reporting in the South Denpasar. Methods: The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This qualitative research was carried out using an in-depth interview method adapted to the 5M theoretical approach, namely Man, Money, Method, Material and Machine. There were 5 informants for this research. Data processing was carried out using thematic analysis techniques. Results: Description of the implementation of the KIA e-Cohort from human factors. All informants have participated and received orientation regarding the E-Cohort application. The money factor shows that there is an orientation budget and an implementation budget. The method factor shows that there is an standard operational procedure created by each health facility. The machine factor shows that there are still obstacles in signal and data input infrastructure. Material factors show that the flow of using the e-cohort application is still accompanied by manual cohort filling and the use of this application is not yet used by all health workers in Denpasar so that the results of recording and reporting can be used optimally.. Conclusion: The implementation of the e-cohort application is already but there are still several obstacles. It is hoped that the development of this application can adapt to the situation and needs of users and that there will be training in using the E-Cohort application

Abstract

ePuskesmas is a multi-user web-based application that allows simultaneous access by multiple users. It facilitates electronic patient recording and data management. The implementation of ePuskesmas services at UPTD Denpasar Selatan 1 has not been conducted previously, but the application aids the Health Department in monitoring public health data. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the readiness of personnel in adopting ePuskesmas using the HOT-FIT method. The aim of this study is to assess the Usage Evaluation of ePuskesmas at UPTD Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan using the HOT-FIT Method. The research adopts a Cross-Sectional Study approach, with a sample comprising all 32 ePuskesmas users at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis includes multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal significant correlations between human, organizational, and technological factors and the net benefit of ePuskesmas usage. Specifically, multivariate analysis identifies organizational factors as the most significant predictor influencing ePuskesmas net benefit (p<0.001). This underscores the pivotal role of organizational readiness in ePuskesmas utilization. Hence, enhancing organizational structure in ePuskesmas management is essential, alongside fostering communication and organizational experience in utilizing ePuskesmas for patient recording and reporting purposes
