Abstract

ABSTRACT Researchers make the formulation of problems that can be studied in this research is "(1) How to use software pro tools as recording learning media at purnomo music school, (2) apasajakah supporting factor and drawing of recording learning in purnomo music school. The purpose of this research is to know, medikanripsikan and analyze (1) utilization of software pro tools as recording learning media at purnomo music school, (2) supporting and inhibiting factor of learning recording at purnomo music school. This research uses qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions or verification. The result of the research is learning recording at Purnomo Music School for 3 months with the intensity of meeting once a week and using lecture, demonstration and question and answer method. Utilization Software Pro Tools as learning media is done with three stages namely (1) planning, Purnomo Music School has a careful planning before implementing learning recording first to prepare curriculum and learning modules; (2) implementation, recording learning in Purnomo School of Music performed in two stages. First with the preparation of music equipment and computers or laptops that are done during the learning and the second stage is the teacher or teacher to do the introduction of the tool then demonstrate how to record, mix and make music composition; (3) evaluation, evaluation is done by the teacher at the end of the learning process that is after the participants of the course follow the training for 3 months. Supporting factors in learning recording are (1) the demands in terms of music technology in the digital era; (2) the existence of youtube media as media of music development; And (3) the background of the supportive course participants. The inhibiting factors in learning recording are (1) the difference of the participants' intelligence; (2) lack of interest in theoretical learning; (3) lack of motivation of course participants in learning; (4) a less supportive environment; (5) lack of consistency of learners in meeting the schedule of the course; (6) changing the mood of course participants in learning peroses; And (7) a power outage. Suggestions that can be submitted are (1) to the manager / owner of Music School Purnomo need to evaluate the implementation of recording class course so that it can apply promotion strategy to attract more candidate course participants; (2) to instructors / instructors need to learn and apply learning methods that can improve the motivation and mood of the course participants; (3) to the participants of the course is expected to improve motivation and mood in learning recording. Abstract

Abstrak HKBP Semarang Barat wadah melaksanakan ibadah, salah satunya ibadah kontemporer, memakai ganre pop, tata ibadah sederhana membuat susuatu yang baru, menarik, dan keunikan terserndiri. Masalah penelitian adalah bagaimana penggunaan musik dalam ibadah kontemporer di HKBP Semarang Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi. Lokasi penelitian HKBP Semarang Barat. Sasaran kajian dalam penelitian bagaimana penggunaan musik dalam ibadah kontemporer yang dilakukan jemaat. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik keabsahan data triangulasi sumber. Analisis reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verivikasi data. Hasil penelitian tentang penggunaan musik dalam ibadah kontemporer di HKBP Semarang Barat terjadi tindakan rasional instrumental yakni wadah belajar menambah kemampuan bermain musik, memakai alat musik secara bebas dan gratis, tindakan rasional nilai seperti bermain musik tanpa bayaran karena bakti dalam menyembah Tuhan, jemaat berjoget untuk menyembah Tuhan, musik yang di ulang-ulang dalam menyembah Tuhan, musik pop dalam ibadah sebagai sarana menyembah Tuhan, tindakan afektif seperti jemaat tertawa bahagia saat lagu berakhir, tindakan tradisional seperti jemaat menyanyi dengan harmoni tanpa instruksi, jemaat bertepuk tangan. Saran peneliti dari sisi tindakan rasional instrumental perlu pemusik diberikan berupa materi, tindakan rasional nilai memberikan pelatihan teori dan praktek musik agar maksimal melayani ibadah, tindakan afektif dan tradisional peneliti tidak memberikan saran. Abstract HKBP West Semarang as the place of religion activities, one of contemporary worship,using pop ganre, the simple order of worship makes their new own intrerest, interesting, and uniqueness. The problem of the research is the use of music in contemporary worship at HKBP West Semarang. This study uses sociology approach. The location of this research is at HKBP Semarang Barat.The goal of this study is to prove the use of music in contemporary worship by the congregation. Technique of collecting data in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation with triangulation validity of data source. They are data reduction analysis, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The results of research shows that on the use of music in contemporary worship in HKBP West Semarang, rational instrumental action was happened that is learning containers to add the ability to play music, using musical instruments freely and for free, rational acts of value such as playing music without payment for devotion in worship God, congregation jigs to worship Lord, music which in repeated worshiping God, pop music in worship as a means of worshiping God, affective measures such as the congregation laughed happily when the song ends, the traditional measures such as the congregation sang harmony without instruction, and the congregation applauded. The researcher's suggestion from the instrumental rational side, this activity needs the musician to give the material, the value rational to provide the training of theory and music practising in order to maximize the worship serve, affective action and traditional researchers do not give suggestions.

Abstract

SMP Karangturi Kota Semarang adalah sekolah swasta unggulan di Semarang. Keunggulan sekolah ini tampak dari jumlah peminat, prestasi, sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana serta pengelolaan dan pemanfaatannya. Dengan potensi yang yang dimilikinya, SMP Karangturi mampu menyelenggarakan pembelajaran yang unggul. Termasuk dalam penyelenggaraan mata pelajaran seni musik yang mencakupi standar kompetensi apresiasi, ekspresi dan kreasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara triangulasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi konsep ekspresi dan kreasi dalam pembelajaran seni musik dilaksanakan secara terpadu. Guru tidak memisahkan konsep ekspresi dan kreasi pada pembelajaran seni musik yang dijabarkan dalam materi, proses dan penilaian.Implementasi konsep ekspresi dan kreasi dalam pembelajaran seni musik di SMP Karangturi Kota Semarang dilakukan dari tahap perencanaan hingga pelaksanaan dan kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan secara learning by doing yaitu pembelajaran musik melalui pengalaman musik. Guru memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk berkarya dan berkreasi melalui aktivitas musikal. SMP Karangturi Semarang is a private school featured in Semarang. School of excellence is evident from the number of applicants, achievement, human resources, infrastructure, management and utilization. With the potential that it has, SMP Karangturi able to quickly deliver a superior learning. Including the implementation of the subjects of musical art that includes competence standards appreciation, expression and creation.The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques in this study is documentation, observation and interviews. Examination of the validity of the data in this study is done by means of triangulation The results showed that the implementation of the concept of expression and creativity in learning the art of music performed in an integrated manner. Teachers do not separate the concept of expression and creation of learning the art of music described in the materials, processes and assessment. Implementation of the concept of expression and creation in learning the art of music in junior Karangturi Semarang conducted from the planning stage to implementation and learning activities performed learning by doing is learning music through musical experience. Teachers give students the chance to work and creativity through musical activities.

Abstract

Beethoven Music Course adalah satu-satunya tempat kursus yang terletak di Kabupaten Temanggung dan berdiri sejak tahun 2002. Salah satu alat musik yang banyak diminati adalah biola. Dalam pembelajaran biola, Beethoven Music Course mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang masih duduk di Sekolah Dasar bersaing di tingkat provinsi hingga Internasional. Selain dukungan dari orangtua dan kemampuan peserta didik, hal ini dapat terjadi karena Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan berhasil sehingga mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripisikan strategi pembelajaran biola pada anak di Beethoven Music Course Kabupaten Temanggung. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif karena peneliti ingin mendeskripsikan strategi pembelajaran biola pada anak di Beethoven Music Course Kabupaten Temanggung. Pengumpulan data penelitian dilakukan melalui tiga teknik, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan derajad kepercayaan dan triangulasi. Komponen-komponen pembelajaran biola yang diteliti adalah kegiatan pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh pengajar. Kegiatan pembelajaran menggunakan 4 metode yaitu metode ceramah, metode demonstrasi, metode drill, dan metode pemberian tugas. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa strategi pembelajaran biola pada anak di Beethoven Music Course Kabupaten Temanggung menggunakan strategi pembelajaran langsung dan strategi pembelajaran mandiri.

Abstract

Grup Orkes Senggol Tromol merupakan sebuah kelompok musik yang mengusung genre musik dangdut parodi dan memiliki sistem manajemen yang dijalankan oleh pengurus dan pemain grup orkes. Sistem kepengurusan pada grup orkes Senggol Tromol terbagi sesuai dengan tugas dan wewenang dari setiap anggota pengurus dan pemain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, menganalisa dan mendeskripsikan manajemen organisasi pertunjukan musik, manajemen produksi karya musik dan manajemen pertunjukkan musik pada grup orkes Senggol Tromol. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem manajemen pada grup orkes Senggol Tromol meliputi unsur-unur manajemen dan fungsi-fungsi manajemen. Unsur-unsur manajemen meliputi men, money, methods, materials, machines, dan markets. Fungsi-fungsi manajemen meliputi; (1) Perencanaan; (2) Pengorganisasian; (3) Penggerakan; dan (4) Pengawasan. Faktor yang menjadi dasar manajemen di grup orkes Senggol Tromol yaitu faktor organisasi seni pertunjukan, faktor manajemen produksi seni pertunjukan, dan faktor manajemen pergelaran seni pertunjukan.

Abstract

Sound Engineer merupakan seseorang yang bertugas untuk menggabungkan suara-suara dalam bentuk audio sound system, posisi Sound Engineer berperan penting dalam pertunjukan musik di era modern ini. Dalam pagelaran musik Keroncong yang di selenggarakan RRI Semarang, sudah menggunakan peralatan pengeras suara berupa audio sound system, peran inilah yang dibebankan terhadap seorang yang berprofesi sebagai sound engineer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan data menggunakan triangulasi. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Peran Sound Engineer, peneliti akan mengkaji dengan 4 sisi peran Sound Engineer menurut Biddle dan Thomas, sebagai berikut: (1) pengambil bagian, (2) perilaku, (3) kedudukan, (4) kaitan. Dengan hasil akhir diterima dengan audience.

Abstract

The competences of music teacher candidates in teaching singing practice and playing a musical instrument are needed in the teaching-learning process at general schools. Hence, the process needs a comprehensive preparation for both competences. The objective of this study is to prepare an assessment instrument of singing practice and playing a musical instrument which is needed to assess the competences of music teacher candidates. The study used mix-method approach. The combination of qualitative and quantitative is required as the two methods are interrelated for both in the process of preparing assessment instruments and testing the instrument. The instruments consist of nine assignments. The six of which are the instruments for reading melodic and rhythmic notation and the other three instruments are to assess the skills to accompany songs. Based on the result, it can be found that the coefficient of instrument reliability is 0.817 in the type of consistency definition and 0.810 in the type of absolute agreement definitions. It can be concluded that the instrument made by using the analytic rubric of coefficient the reliability is better compared to the instrument made by a holistic rubric.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Keywords: influence, music, dangdut, spirit of work Margorejo is one of villages in Margorejo Subdistrict, Pati Regency, Central Java. Since May 22nd, 2017, it has received funds from the Goverment to develop village drainage project. It was done by the local inhabitants. Based on the research, it showed that almost 60% of them work as construction workers. They usually do their jobs while listening to Dangdut music to trigger their spirit of works, in line with their passion toward Dangdut music. They look more energetic to finish their job while Dangdut songs were played The research used descriptive-qualitative method, its subject is the construction workers and its object is the influence of Dangdut music toward spirit of works. In collecting the data, the researcher used some techniques: observation, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used is Triangulation, which include: reduction of data, presentation of data, and conclusion / verification The result showed that the musical aspects of Dangdut which influenced their spirit at works include tempo, dynamics, and song lyrics. Tempo from Dangdut music influenced the spirit of workers, showed by the acceleration of construction development because their tempo in working is line with the tempo of Dangdut songs played. The dynamics, either loud or low volume from the speakers, kind of music played, and the instruments will affect their spirit of works, making it more effective. Its theme also influence, such as love and humorous songs will make them more energetic to work harder. The increase of spirit of work evokes the rapid body movement so that it will influence toward the completion target for the job The writer suggested that the construction workers should be accustomed to listening to music when working, due to its influence to trigger spirit at works, and be willing to propose kind of musics used when doing their jobs. ABSTRAK Kata Kunci : Pengaruh, Musik, Dangdut, Semangat Kerja. Margorejo merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Margorejo Kabupaten Pati Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Sejak tanggal 22 Mei 2017 di Desa Margorejo menerima bantuan dana dari pemerintah pusat untuk pembangunan proyek drainase. Proyek pembangunan drainase dikerjakan oleh masyarakat desa setempat. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti hampir 60% persenpenduduk DesaMargorejoKecamatanMargorejoKabupaten Pati berprofesisebagaipekerjabangunan. Para pekerja bangunan di Desa Margorejo dalam menyelesaikan setiap proyek-proyek pembangunan yang diterimanya hampir selalu mendengarkan musik dangdut sebagai media untuk memicu semangat kerja hal ini sesuai dengan kesenangan para pekerja bangunan secara umum terhadap musik dangdut. Para pekerja bangunan terlihat semangat dalam bekerjasaat musik dangdut mengiringi aktivitas kerjanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang menjadi sumber data yaitu para pekerja pembangunan drainase dan objek dari penelitian ini adalah pengaruh musik dangdut terhadap semangat kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah : Teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni: triangulasi data yaitu : reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikankesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, aspek - aspek musikal musik dangdut yang dapat mempengaruhi semangat kerja antara lain tempo, dinamika dan teks lagu. Tempo yang dihasilkan dari musik dangdut berpengaruh terhadap semangat kerja, dengan ditunjukannya percepatan hasil pembangunan karena tempo kerja para pekerja selaras dengan tempo lagu dangdut yang diputar. Dinamika lagu seperti keras atau lirihnya suara yang dihasilkan oleh pengeras suara ketika lagu pengiring kerja diputar, jenis musik dangdut yang diputar, suara alat musik pada lagu yang diputar akan mempengaruhi semangat kerja, menciptakan suasana yang efektif didalam bekerja. Tema dari teks lagu yang diputar juga akan mempengaruhi semangat kerja, tema seperti percintaan, atau tema yang mengarah ke hal-hal yang seronok akan dapat memicu semangat pekerja. Semangat kerja yang meningkat menimbulkan gerak tubuh yang cepat sehingga akan berpengaruh pada penyelesaian target pekerjaan. Saran yang ingin penulis ajukanadalah untuk para pekerja agar sebaiknya terbiasa untuk mendengarkan musik selama bekerja, karena dengan mendengarkan musik dapat meningkatkan semangat, dan mau untuk mengusulkan musik apa yang ingin didengarkan selama bekerja.

Abstract

Tegalan music is typical music of Tegal regency which lyrics use Ngapak language. A piece of music group that still exists until now is Joend Pro. Joend Pro's musical group was formed in the year 2009 by Imam Joend. Joend Pro's musical group is on the basis of the consciousness of Imam Joend, about the importance of the existence of the art area of the music as a characteristic of the regional arts of Tegal Regency. This research aims to know, describe, and analyze the existence of the Tegalan Pro music Group in Slawi Tegal Regency. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection through observations, interviews, documentation and library studies. The result of the study was to demonstrate the existence of the Joend Pro band. Joend Pro often conducts self-performing, provit performances, as well as entertainment invitations at government events. Joend Pro's musical group's existence is still acknowledged to exist until now by society. This is evidenced by the community's performance offerings to fill entertainment at weddings and other events.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe an analysis of children’s song characteristics Titounis. This study used a musicological approach to recognize songs’ characteristics. The data collection were document study and, listen and take note. This study used a content analysis technique. The analysis cover three aspects:  (1) songs’ analysis, (2) instruments’ analysis, (3) Onomatopoeia.  The songs that were analyzed were (1) Petit Escargot, (2) Le Roues de l Autobus, (3) Les Chiffres, (4) Un kilometer en Roulant. In the song analysis, the patterns used were general patterns, using fun and cheerful vocals, strong tonal stress, relatively limited variations in tones, slow, fast, and gradual tempo. The delivery style invites singing as well as dialogue or interaction. Then in musical instruments, the melody variations of each instrument form harmonization, the use of non-musical instruments emphasizes the theme of the song and provides the experience of hearing about the environment. The onomatopoeic analysis shows sound vroom (car), pataboum (jumping passengers), bip-bip-bip (serine), suisse-suisse (wiper). The onomatopoeia of Titounis songs serves to strengthen the song’s theme.
