Abstract

Dusun Tanon is one of the hamlets in Ngrawan Village, Getasan District, which was officially established as a tourism village on April 21, 2012. This socialization aims to increase tourism awareness for the people of Tanon Hamlet by organizing tourism awareness socialization activities towards sustainable tourism. The implementation method used in Community Service uses counseling methods through material presentation and discussion approaches. Also, the evaluation method uses price as the level of satisfaction in supervising socialization activities. With this outreach, participants understood the material presented regarding community awareness and tourism promotion, and took an active part in the discussion sessions. Through this tourism awareness socialization activity, it is hoped that it can increase the active participation of the community in strengthening tourism villages towards sustainable cultural tourism.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki dua tujuan utama, yakni: (1) menjabarkan implementasi Jambore Sastra Pesisir sebagai upaya strategis literasi budaya pesisir bagi pelajar di SMA Negeri 14 Semarang dan (2) menjelaskan strategi meningkatkan literasi budaya pesisir melalui Jambore Sastra Pesisir. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode Partisipatory Action and Learning System (PALS) dengan menggunakan pendekatan 4P (penyadaran, pengkapasitasan, pendampingan, dan pelembagaan). Sasaran pengabdian ini adalah peserta didik SMA Negeri 14 Semarang yang berjumlah 117 anak dan telah melakukan pertemuan sebanyak 12 kali. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah (1) pelaksanaan program Jambore Sastra Pesisir di SMA Negeri 14 Semarang terdiri atas observasi awal, pelaksanaan FGD dan pemetaan permasalahan Jambore Sastra Pesisir, pelaksanaan sosialisasi Jambore Sastra Pesisir, pengkapasitasan pendidikan sastra pesisir, pelatihan jambore sastra pesisir, festival jambore sastra pesisir, dan Komunitas Sastra Pesisir dan (2) meningkatkan literasi budaya pesisir bagi peserta didik SMA Negeri 14 Semarang melalui implementasi Jambore Sastra Pesisir, dibuktikan melalui hasil pretest dan postest yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terkait ketertarikan, kemampuan, fasilitas, dan terdapat komunitas yang dapat menunjang peningkatan literasi budaya sastra pesisir peserta didik. Rencana tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini adalah pelembagaan yang direalisasikan dalam bentuk Komunitas Sastra Pesisir. Tindak lanjut dari kegiatan ini adalah pelembagaan yang direalisasikan dalam Komunitas Sastra Pesisir. Dibenuknya komunitas tersebut memiliki tujuan untuk menjaga pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kesadaran peserta didik terhadap literasi budaya pesisiran. Jambore Sastra Pesisir merupakan sebuah solusi yang ditawarkan bagi mitra yang diharapkan dapat menjadi upaya strategis guna meningkatkan literasi budaya bagi pelajar di SMA Negeri 14 Semarang.

Abstract

The potential and uniqueness of Menari Village as a tourist village in Semarang Regency needs to be introduced to the wider community. Based on the survey that was carried out, the community service found problems that needed to be resolved, including 1) Menari Tanon Village already has one social media (Instagram) but it has not been managed optimally; 2) lack of human resource capabilities in terms of understanding and skills in creating content that carries local cultural themes and social media management. The aims of this service include: 1) improving social media management; 2) increasing human resource capabilities and forming cadres. One solution offered to this problem is providing training on content and social media management. The approach used in this service activity is Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) which takes the form of a training and mentoring method. The stages carried out in this service include 1) FGD with Pokdarwis, 2) training and assistance in social media management. The training activity involved 17 participants who were the young generation of Tanon Hamlet. The results of the training indicate increased understanding and ability to create content as well as manage social media and create. After the training is related to techniques for creating content on social media with activity output in the form of creative content videos. Next, assistance is provided with social media management by forming a social media team and creating a posting schedule
