Abstract

The increasing number of users networking social media TikTok among senior high school students in Indonesia, of course, will influence learning students, especially in terms of digital skills in mathematics. Counting is essential because students can count like that appearance so that they will later encounter a perceived problem that is difficult in learning mathematics. This research aims to determine how much influence TikTok social media users have against reasoning mathematics in students. This research adopts the quantitative experimental group control method before and after the experiment was designed, and the sample in this study adopted the cluster random sampling method. Instruments used from the paper The test consists of 5 pre-tests and five post-tests in class X TB A SMKN 3 Metro. Data analysis uses the Paired Samples Statistics Test. The results of the research using paired samples statistics conclude that the application of TikTok is influential and significant to reasoning mathematics in students; the average pre-test score is 45.88, and the average score post-test is 87.06. As such, it has been proven that TikTok influences reasoning mathematics in students.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of math anxiety and self-efficacy on relational abilities. This research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The research population included all class XI students at one of the vocational high schools in Metro City. The study consisted of 29 students using a cluster random sampling technique. The instruments for math anxiety and self-efficacy use questionnaires, while the instruments for relational understanding abilities use tests. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression. The analysis shows that math anxiety and self-efficacy significantly influence 79% of relational understanding abilities. Math anxiety has a negative but insignificant influence on relational abilities (r = -0.053 sig. = 0.60), while self-efficacy has a positive and significant influence (r = 0.655 sig. = 0.00). This research implies that it is essential to increase the self-efficacy of each student. Teachers must strive for activities supporting students' self-efficacy, such as providing motivation and guidance during mathematics lessons.

Abstract

This study examines the use of TikTok and its influence on the religious behavior of Muslim adolescents in Sukadana Ilir Village, Bunga Mayang District, North Lampung. The research focuses on late adolescents aged 17–21 years who use TikTok as part of their daily activities. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving five informants. The findings reveal that TikTok is primarily used for entertainment purposes, such as relieving boredom, following trends, and accessing light information. Although the platform provides access to Islamic preaching (da'wah) content and spiritual motivational materials that may contribute positively to religious development, the study found that its negative effects are more prominent. These effects include a decline in religious discipline, neglect of prayer obligations, and reduced participation in socio-religious activities. Furthermore, adolescents tend to show greater interest in entertainment content than in religious content, resulting in religious learning and understanding receiving less attention. This study concludes that TikTok has a significant influence on adolescents’ religious behavior, particularly when accompanied by inadequate self-regulation and limited parental guidance. The findings highlight the importance of strengthening digital literacy programs for parents, educators, and educational institutions to encourage more responsible and meaningful use of TikTok that supports both personal development and religious values.

Abstract

Kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika dasar seperti Kelipatan Persekutuan Terkecil (KPK) dan Faktor Persekutuan Terbesar (FPB) berdampak langsung pada rendahnya hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan media papan multifungsi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep KPK dan FPB. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain pre-test dan post-test pada dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen (PBL + papan multifungsi) dan kelompok kontrol (metode konvensional). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test pada kelompok eksperimen (p = 0,001), dengan 75% siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman. Media papan multifungsi mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dan membantu visualisasi konsep abstrak matematika. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis PBL dalam pengajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

Pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep bilangan rasional masih rendah karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan minimnya penggunaan media visual interaktif dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel terdiri dari dua kelas VII SMP, yaitu kelompok eksperimen (20 siswa) yang diberi perlakuan model Project-Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi GeoGebra dan kelompok kontrol (23 siswa) dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen tes terdiri dari soal uraian pemahaman konsep dengan validitas isi dan reliabilitas α = 0,82. Hasil post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen (rata-rata 83,4) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (rata-rata 70,2), dengan signifikansi uji-t sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi GeoGebra dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep bilangan rasional, sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan partisipasi aktif siswa. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi desain pembelajaran matematika yang inovatif dan berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SD Negeri 6 Tanjung Raya, which is reflected in the lack of active participation, attention, and involvement of students in the learning process. Amidst the development of technology and the flow of digital information, students are required to have multiliteracy skills that include reading and writing literacy, digital literacy, visual literacy, and media literacy. This study aims to analyze the role of interactive learning media-based multiliteracy in increasing student learning interest, as well as identifying its implementation and impact on learning engagement in PAI learning in elementary schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study type. The research subjects include the principal, PAI teachers, and students in grades IV and V. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. Data validity was tested using triangulation of sources, techniques, and time, as well as member checks. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of interactive media-based multiliteracy at SD Negeri 6 Tanjung Raya has been running, although not evenly distributed. The media used include educational videos, visual presentations, digital quizzes, and learning simulations. Multiliteracies play a significant role in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning by presenting abstract material in a more concrete and engaging manner. The use of interactive media has been shown to positively impact student learning interest, as evidenced by increased participation, enthusiasm, and courage in expressing opinions.
