Abstract

ODHA are people with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and AIDS (Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome). Changes in the character of ODHA cannot be separated from psychological and social pressure and make many ODHA become depressed. The psychological and social pressure experienced by ODHA also has a negative impact so that ODHA become embarrassed, physically exhausted, limit their activities, are afraid, and don't know what to do in the future. The treatment used to deal with these problems is still based on cognitive therapy and has not been integrated with awareness of ODHA. Apart from that, the therapy carried out does not yet enable ODHA to be able to deal with the problems they experience in the long term. To overcome this problem, intervention is needed aimed at ODHA which is carried out independently based on self-awareness, namely spiritual mindfulness therapy. Mindfulness as a type of psychotherapy facilitated by nurses uses the concept of self-care theory where nurses become nursing agencies to facilitate the self-deficit experienced by ODHA who experience mental problems. Educational activities were carried out from December 2021 to February 2022, providing education to 23 participants for 30 minutes through lectures, discussions and questions and answers. Delivery of material using power point and leaflet media. During the activities carried out, the pre-test results were 6.04 and post-test 7.43. ODHA patients understand mindfulness therapy as an alternative therapy that calms emotions. The patient's response was feeling relieved and comfortable after participating in therapy.

The method used was the Quasi Experiment with the pre and post test control group consisting of 15 respondents of intervention group and 14 respondents of control group treated at RSUP M Djamil Padang, determined according to the inclusion criteria. The results of research indicated that there was a significant difference in the sleep quality of right lateral position group and the control group with the value (p = value = 0,001). The statistics test used was the independent T test. Sleep is the necessity of human beings. By giving the intervention of therapy of right lateral position, the issue of poor sleep quality in heart failure patients may be resolved. Health care service, particularly nurses, is advised to apply this therapy as an independent nursing intervention to increase the sleep quality of heart failure patients treated at the hospital.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. The most deadly infectious illness on the globe is still pulmonary tuberculosis. Southeast Asia accounts for up to 58% of all TB cases. India, Indonesia, and China have the greatest number of TB cases in the globe, accounting for 23%, 10%, and 10% of global incidence, respectively. The overall goal of this study is to examine the association between family support and the function of medication supervisors in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City. This is a cross-sectional quantitative study. The investigation was conducted in the operating area of the Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City in August 2022. This study included all active tuberculosis patients at the Putri Ayu Health Center, a total of 66 individuals. The study's sample size was 60 people (after deducting 6 respondents of the initial survey). Total sampling is the sampling technique used. The analysis performed is both univariate and bivariate. The chi square test was applied, with a meaningfulness threshold of 95% (alpha = 0.05). The study revealed a link between family support (p-value: 0.021) and the role of supervisors taking medications (p-value: 0.010) and adherence to taking drugs in pulmonary TB patients at the Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City. It is expected that the Puskesmas Putri Ayu Jambi City would also educate families and emphasise the need of family support for active Tb patients' rehabilitation and develop a PMO optimization program to prevent drop out.
