Ultra Wide Band (UWB) microstrip antenna designed using textile materials for Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) applications is presented. The antenna consists of stairs patches and a ground plane with a dimension of 30 mm x 30 mm. Simulation is done by compared antenna performance using cotton, denim, felt and fleece materials. In this study, the parameters considered in the analysis process are the characteristics of S11 and gain value. Numerical evaluation based on simulation shows that the antenna performance well operated in the UWB frequency standard by FCC (3.1 - 10.6 GHz) with the bandwidth of ≥ 500 MHz. The use of felt material produces a wider bandwidth (3900 MHz). The fleece material provided a higher gain value on 6.51 dBi at the resonant frequency of 8.5 GHz.

Sistem buka tutup pada pintu gerbang konvensional dilakukan secara manual dengan menggeser, membuka atau menutup. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, pintu gerbang dapat dibuka dan ditutup secara otomatis. Pada penelitian ini dirancang sebuah sistem buka tutup pintu gerbang yang dapat dikendalikan menggunakan kode klakson berbasis arduino. Komponen yang digunakan untuk perancangan sistem ini adalah ardiuno nano, sensor suara, motor driver dan motor stepper. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mengetahui jarak maksimum sensor dapat merespon dan mengenali kode klakson yang diberikan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sensor dapat merespon bunyi klakson yang diberi kode khusus 3 bip dengan nilai kode klakson 121 24 106 22 97 pada jarak maksimum 150 cm. Respon sensor terhadap bunyi klakson akan diproses oleh arduino untuk memberikan perintah ke motor driver untuk menggerakkan motor stepper pada pintu gerbang. Sehingga pintu gerbang akan terbuka secara otomatis. Jika kode pada bunyi klakson tidak mencapai nilai dari kode klakson yang telah disimpan maka, pintu gerbang tidak akan bergerak.

Robotics technology has been used in various aspects of life to make work easier. In the industrial sector, robots are used to replace human roles in order to produce more effective and efficient work. The use of robots is also carried out in jobs with a high level of risk, one of which is search and rescue (SAR). In its development, the use of robots for SAR requires high flexibility and effectiveness in carrying out movements for finding and extinguishing hotspots as well as rescuing victims. So, in this research, a movement control system will be designed for a legged robot. The robot's design consists of four legs. Each leg of the robot is integrated with three servo motors, so that each leg movement will have three degrees of freedom. Tests are carried out to determine the speed of the robot in various directions of movement by changing the rotation angle of the servo on each leg. The test results show that a legged robot can accelerate at a maximum speed of 0.066 m/s.

Saat ini lingkungan menjadi fokus perhatian utama dalam proses usaha pelestarian bumi, pertambahan jumlah penduduk tentunya akan menghasilkan pertambahan jumlah volume sampah dan sampah tersebut akan mengakibatkan sumber pencemaran lingkungan, pencemaran tanah, pencemaran air, dan terjadinya penyumbatan saluran air yang menyebabkan suatu kota akan menimbulkan banjir apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Banyaknya tumpukan sampah limbah padat anorganik yang belum terkelola dengan baik menyebabkan terjadinya pencemaran lingkungan sehingga saat musim hujan mengakibatkan tersumbatnya saluran drainase akibat masuknya sampah ke dalam saluran drainase sehingga mengakibatkan terjadinya banjir. Adapun teknologi bahan dalam pembuatan paving dengan campuran limbah plastik tentunya sangat berdampak dalam mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan dari limbah plastik. Dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada masyarakat sebagaimana yang telah diuraikan sebelumnya, maka dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini ditawarkan beberapa metoda pendekatan yang dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang ada yaitu dengan melakukan Metode penyampaian edukasi mengenai sampah diawali dengan sistem pengajaran Ceramah dan Pendampingan (Workshop), yakni dengan menyampaikan informasi dan pengetahuan secara lisan dan praktek kepada masyarakat.

Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk mengenalkan dan menerapkan strategi Phygital Promotion dalam pemasaran produk hasil perikanan tangkap sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil penjualan. Phygital merupakan perpaduan antara proses pemasaran fisik dan digital sehingga memungkinkan proses jual beli dilakukan secara online dan offline secara bersamaan. Pada penerapannya konsep phygital dilakukan dengan dua metode yaitu webrooming dan showrooming. Sasaran yang menjadi mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah kelompok nelayan di Kabupaten Pinrang, Sulawesi Selatan. Berdasarkan hasil identifikasi yang telah dilakukan, permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra meliputi 1) ketersediaan produk hasil perikanan tangkap yang melimpah tidak disertai dengan harga yang sesuai atau kebutuhan pasar, 2) pemahaman terkait strategi pemasaran masih sangat rendah 3) nelayan masih menggunakan metode konvensional dalam pemasaran, pemahaman penggunaan teknologi masih sangat minim. Sehingga melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pengenalan salah satu metode digital marketing, kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam dua tahapan yaitu tahapan edukasi terkait dengan strategi phygital promotion dalam pemasaran produk hasil perikanan tangkap dan tahapan pendampingan penggunaan media digital dalam pemasaran hasil perikanan tangkap.

Batteries are electrochemical devices as a source of DC voltage that is quite reliable and has high stability, so that the 110 Vdc Battery has a very important role at the substation (GI) to operate the driving motors at the voltage breaker (PMT), disconecting switch (PMS), supply PLC and telecommunication equipment in the SCADA system, as well as protection relays. If the 110 Vdc battery does not work properly, it can result in a major interference with the GI. So to help optimize battery maintenance, it needs an indication tool so that the battery can last a long time and can prevent damage to the battery prematurely. In this study, a voltage drop monitoring and detection system will be designed on 110 Vdc battery cells. The data will be forwarded to the database via the NodeMCU device to be sent to the Telegram application on the smartphone. The test was carried out by compiling 80 battery cells with a voltage of 1.5 volts in series to produce a voltage of 110 Vdc. Test results of the accuracy level of voltage readings achieved an average accuracy of 99.58% with an average difference of 0.42% while the test results of sending voltage data for each group were successfully carried out with excellent response and were able to display data / information on voltage values and conditions in telegram applications.

Electricity plays a very important role in everyday life. Most human activities are related to the use of electrical energy, including in the Campus environment. Technological advances have resulted in an increase in the consumption of electrical energy and this has resulted in reduced reserves of fossil energy sources as a result of being used up and causing emissions that can affect the global climate. The energy transition from the use of fossil energy to new and renewable energy is one solution to overcome this. Solar Power Plant (PLTS) is an alternative energy solution that is environmentally friendly that can be developed on campus. This is also supported by Indonesia's geographical location which has a very high intensity of sunlight. In this study, an analysis of the potential of electrical energy generated at Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare Building was carried out. The research was conducted by measuring the surface voltage and temperature of solar panels for 20 days. The test was carried out for 7 hours from 10.00 WITA to 16.00 WITA. Voltage and temperature measurements were carried out in 1 hour intervals. The test results show that the average voltage value generated by solar panels is 21.31 volts. The highest average voltage value was generated at 13.00 WITA, which was 21.82 volts with an average surface temperature of 37.79 oC

Measurement of oceanographic parameters is needed to determine the condition of the ecosystem in the water area so that it can be the basis for carrying out conservation activities in marine waters. Measurement of physical and chemical parameters used manually which causes the data obtained is still susceptible to observational errors. In this study, a system was designed that can measure oceanographic parameters periodically. The designed system consists of a temperature sensor, turbidity sensor, pH sensor and TDS sensor integrated with a microcontroller device. The system consists of two main parts, a sensor node that has a function as a transmitter and a gateway that has a function as a receiver. Initial testing is done by calibrating and validating data for each sensor used. The next test was carried out by testing the transmission of data from the measurement of oceanographic parameters in the form of water pH, salinity, water temperature and water turbidity from the sensor node to the gateway using the LoRA Ebyte E220 communication module. The test results show that the sensor node measurement data can be sent to the gateway by setting the distance between devices as far as 500 meters. The resulting data transmission delay is in the range of 2-10 seconds

Sampah merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Keberadaan sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi lingkungan. Permasalahan sampah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat nelayan adalah pencemaran air laut akibat sampah. Sampah plastik dapat menghasilkan mikroplastik yang dapat mengganggu ekosistem yang ada di laut yang akan secara otomatis berdampak bagi kesehatan jika mengkonsumsi ikan dan hewan laut lainnya. Pemahaman masyarakat terkait dengan pengelolaan sampah juga masih sangat minim. Sehingga melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat nelayan terkait dengan sampah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Watang Suppa, Kecamatan Suppa, Kabupaten Pinrang terbagi atas dua tahapan utama yaitu observasi permasalahan masyarakat nelayan terkait dengan sampah dan pemberian materi edukasi terkait dengan sampah. Materi yang diberikan berupa pembahasan tentang jenis-jenis sampah, dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan akibat sampah dan dampak ekonomi yang didapatkan dari pengelolaan sampah. Masyarakat juga mendapatkan informasi tentang pengelolaan sampah dengan metode 3R Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terkait sampah membutuhkan sinergitas antara pemerintah dan perguruan tinggi dalam melakukan edukasi dan pendampingan.
