Abstract

Indigenous institutions have an important position in maintaining social order and local cultural identity in the midst of ongoing social change. This community service aims to strengthen the capacity of customary institutions in Kayu Kebek Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency through a capacity building approach that is integrated with Pancasila values. Activities are carried out through participatory observation, institutional training, workshops on Pancasila values, and assistance in strengthening the organizational structure. The results of this activity show that the integration of Pancasila values in strengthening customary institutions can increase community participation, strengthen institutional identity, and create synergy between local and national values. This strengthening is an important foundation in creating socio-cultural resilience based on local wisdom.

Abstract

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 18 of 2018 as stated in Article 11 and Article 14 concerning Village Community Institutions and Village Customary Institutions, it is explained that the Village Customary Institution, hereinafter abbreviated as LAD, is an institution that carries out customary functions and is part of the original structure of the Village that grows and develops on the initiative of the Village community. The purpose of LAD is basically to be a partner of the Village Government in increasing community participation, as a process of Village development, and ensuring the smooth running of Village Government services. The focus of this research is related to the LAD empowerment strategy in preserving customs and poverty alleviation in the research location. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, where in qualitative descriptive research aims to obtain information about existing conditions. In other words, qualitative descriptive research seeks to describe, record, analyze, and interpret conditions that currently occur or exist. The results of this study are that the strategy that can be implemented is to use the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) theory with the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) type using the 4-D cycle, namely the discovery, dream, design, and destiny models

Abstract

Terletak di Lereng Gunung Lawu, Magetan, Jawa Timur, Desa Genilangit memiliki panorama dataran tinggi yang mengagumkan. Salah satu dusunnya, yakni Wonomulyo menjadi destinasi wisata yang menarik minat para pengunjung. Namun, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa minimnya pengelolaan informasi di media terkait wisata di lokasi tersebut menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi pemerintah desa untuk terus berupaya mempromosikan desa wisata Genilangit. Terlepas dari keberagaman dan keindahan alamnya, desa Genilangit juga masih menghadapi masalah digitalisasi dan tidak stabilnya akses internet karena lokasi geografisnya yang berada pada ketinggian 1300 Mdpl, sehingga masyarakat sulit menerima informasi melalui media digital. Akses tersebut selayaknya dapat diselaraskan dengan keterampilan masyarakatnya dalam mencari dan menyebarkan informasi terkait potensi desa mereka. Kurangnya literasi digital pada masyarakat desa Genilangit dapat diatasi dengan diadakannya pelatihan literasi digital yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat desa dan juga perangkat desanya dalam menghadapi tantangan laju informasi di media digital dan juga menggunakannya untuk mempromosikan potensi wisata di desa tersebut. Pada tanggal 17 Juni 2025 Pelatihan Literasi Digital yang dilakukan oleh tim PKM Rintisan Desa Pancasila Universitas Negeri Surabaya berhasil melibatkan lebih 50 orang masyarakat dari berbagai unsur untuk memperoleh pemahaman terkait Literasi Digital di Balai Desa Genilangit, Magetan.
