Abstract

ABC Ceramic Factory conducted the process of producing ceramic floor tiles, distributing them to ceramic shops, and then selling them to consumers. Several processes or stages, from manufacturing to distribution, still leave abandoned waste. This research aims to determine what costs in making ceramics at the ABC Ceramic Factory can be reduced to save on company costs. The methods used are Green Quality Function Deployment and AHP Methods. Based on the data processing results, the ceramic manufacturing process is efficient, and the ceramic color is long-lasting because it has the expected satisfaction values of 0.661 and 0.538. Then, recycling waste is the highest technical response, with a value of 0.24. At the same time, the production process is the stage that produces the most waste, with a value of 0.29, and raw material costs are the costs that can be reduced the most, with the highest value of 4+2-. Therefore, the ABC Ceramic Factory must improve from the manufacturing process to the final product.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted the retail industry, particularly shopping malls, which have experienced a 30% to 40% decline in customer footfall in the first quarter of 2021 compared to previous years. Despite the growing body of research on retail recovery, there remains a gap in understanding specific customer sentiments and experiences within mall environments during this period. This study aims to address this gap by analyzing customer feedback extracted from Google reviews to identify key attributes influencing the shopping experience. The research employs text-mining techniques to convert unstructured data into structured formats, eliminating irrelevant words and concepts. Following data cleaning, the Naïve Bayes Classifier method is utilized to analyze the sentiments, achieving an accuracy of around 92.86%. The findings will be visualized through word clouds and bar charts to highlight the top ten positive and negative sentiments expressed by customers. Ultimately, this research contributes to enhancing the customer experience at shopping malls by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to create a comprehensive Customer Journey Map based on the analyzed data. This map will serve as a strategic tool for mall management to implement targeted improvements and foster a more engaging shopping environment.

Abstract

Rapid exposure to digital media and information has contributed to limited and sometimes inaccurate understanding of human life, anatomy, and reproductive health among Catholic youth and mother. This condition highlights the need for educational approaches that integrate scientific knowledge with faith-based values. This community engagement program aimed to enhance life and reproductive health literacy among Catholic youth and mothers through experiential learning. The activity was conducted through an educational visit to the Anatomy Museum of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. Participants observed anatomical collections, including human organs and fetal development models, guided by museum educators. Interactive explanations, group discussions, and a structured question-and-answer session were provided to encourage reflection and understanding. Participant responses and learning outcomes were evaluated using post-activity questionnaires. The results indicate a significant increase in participants’ understanding of human anatomy and the value of human life. Most participants expressed high satisfaction with the activity and reported that visual, hands-on learning made complex and sensitive topics easier to comprehend. The fetal development section was recognized as the most influential in promoting contemplation of the dignity of life. In conclusion, anatomy museum–based experiential education is an effective approach to improving life and reproductive health literacy while supporting values-based learning.
