Abstract

The study investigates the moderating effect of celebrity preference and hedonism personality on the relationship between perceived intrusiveness, consumer attention, and intention to purchase internet users by applying SOR Theory as a foundation. This study focuses on K-Popers among teenagers. A total of 400 samples were used in this study. The sample is split into two groups, with 200 samples including advertisements that fit the respondents' preferences and have a high hedonism personality and 200 samples containing advertisements that didn’t fit the respondents' preferences and have a low hedonism personality. Multi-group moderation was performed using AMOS ver.22 with the stats tools package software, and data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 16. As expected, the higher the level of distraction perceived by the user, the lower consumer attention to the advertisement. In contrast, the less distracted individuals are, the more attention they pay to commercials. Then, the more individuals pay attention to the ads, the more likely they are to make a purchase. According to additional research, celebrity preference and hedonism personality are proven to be moderate.

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether an individual's preference for their favorite influencer can strengthen their awareness of the advertised product and ultimately increase their purchase intention. A total of 270 samples were used in this study, following specific criteria. The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 16 and AMOS ver.22. The results of the study indicate that the presence of celebrity influencers is effective in creating consumer awareness, especially among their followers. Furthermore, the higher the awareness of the brand being advertised, the higher the potential purchase intention. Further findings from the study demonstrate that celebrity preference moderates the influence of social media influencers on Brand trust.

Abstract

Objective: This study investigates how social presence elements, such as streamers, other viewers, and products, directly and indirectly influence consumers' impulse purchase behaviour in live-streaming commerce. Design/Methods/Approach: An empirical evaluation was conducted on the suggested model, utilizing survey responses from 205 live-streaming commerce users. Furthermore, the interconnections among the elements within the research framework were examined through SEM PLS version 3. Findings: The results show that social presence directly and significantly affects impulse purchase behaviour. This study also strongly links social presence with perceived usefulness and positive affect. In addition, the results show that perceived usefulness and positive affect significantly influence impulse purchase behaviour. Interestingly, perceived usefulness and positive affect serve as potential intermediaries linking the impact of social presence with impulse purchase behaviour. Originality/Value: This research explores the influence of social presence and several consumer psychological factors, such as perceived usefulness and positive affect, on impulse purchase behaviour in live-streaming commerce. While this area has rarely been a significant focus in previous literature, the speciality of this research is integrating the product dimension into the social presence framework. This initiative has yet to be found in the literature so far. With this approach, the research seeks to provide an in-depth understanding of how social presence elements such as streamers, other viewers, and products collaborate and directly and indirectly impact impulse buying behaviour. Practical/Policy implication: The results of this study offer a significant perspective for businesses in the e-commerce sector and individuals producing content for live-streaming commerce. This information can be used to create better approaches to encourage impulse buying behaviour and increase customer interaction. The interaction between social presence, perceived usefulness, and positive affect can be the basis for designing more efficient strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between authoritative parenting and entrepreneurial preparedness, with risk tolerance, self-efficacy, and creativity as mediating factors. Parenting styles play a significant role in shaping children's behavior, including nurturing their entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. The study involved a sample of 296 respondents. IBM AMOS version 23 was employed for hypothesis testing. Additionally, a sobel-test calculator was utilized to examine mediation. Ultimately, the results support all nine proposed hypotheses, providing valuable insights into the relationship between authoritative parenting, risk tolerance, self-efficacy, creativity, and entrepreneurial preparedness. The findings confirm several key aspects that researchers initially hypothesized. First, authoritative parenting has a positive and significant impact on risk tolerance, self-efficacy, and creativity. Second, risk tolerance, self-efficacy, and creativity have positive and significant effects on entrepreneurial preparedness. Furthermore, the results indicate that risk tolerance, self-efficacy, and creativity mediate the relationship between authoritative parenting and entrepreneurial preparedness. The findings of this research demonstrate that authoritative parenting can influence children's character development, leading to higher levels of creativity, self-confidence, and risk tolerance traits essential for entrepreneurs

Abstract

The textile industry has been a critical driver of global economic growth in recent decades. However, this growth is inextricably linked to its environmental impact. The textile industry causes significant environmental issues, including water pollution from dyes, high water usage, and greenhouse gas emissions. Understanding these specific environmental issues highlights the need to explore solutions, such as using eco-friendly clothing. This study aims to identify the factors that influence generation Z consumers’ preferences for eco-friendly clothing products in Indonesia by adopting the theoretical framework of the Information-Motivation-Behavioural Skills (IMB) model. The IMB model was chosen for its comprehensive approach to explaining how information and motivation, combined with behavioral skills, drive consumer actions, making it suitable for analyzing sustainable purchasing behavior. 201 generation Z respondents in Indonesia completed the survey using consecutive sampling. The data was then analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed a positive and significant influence between green self-concept and subjective norm on the purchase intention of environmentally friendly clothing. However, green clothing knowledge’s effect on purchase intention was not statistically significant. Further results found that green clothing self-efficacy can mediate the influence of green self-concept and subjective norm on green clothing purchase intention. However, green self-efficacy has not been proven to mediate the effect of environmental apparel knowledge on purchase intention.

Abstract

Abstract

This study addresses the critical "intention-action gap" in the global entrepreneurship landscape, specifically responding to the high unemployment rate among educated Indonesian youth. Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory, this research investigates the determinants of Entrepreneurial Readiness by integrating environmental factors (Authoritative Parenting) and cognitive traits (Entrepreneurial Alertness and Creativity), with Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy proposed as a mediating mechanism. Adopting a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 250 Indonesian youths engaged in entrepreneurship education and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that Authoritative Parenting and Entrepreneurial Alertness significantly and directly influence Entrepreneurial Readiness. Notably, Entrepreneurial Creativity does not have a direct effect but influences readiness through a complete mediation mechanism of Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy. Furthermore, Self-Efficacy mediates the impact of alertness but fails to mediate the influence of parenting. Theoretically, this study resolves the creativity-readiness paradox by confirming self-efficacy as a "critical bridge" that transforms latent creative ideas into behavioral readiness. Practically, findings suggest that educators must shift from mere knowledge transfer to validating student creativity to build necessary confidence, while highlighting that supportive parenting serves as a fundamental incubator for entrepreneurial mental readiness.
