Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh kecakapan manajerial dan kepemilikan manajerial terhadap kualitas laba yang dimoderasi oleh keahlian keuangan komite audit dan keragaman. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling perbankan konvensional periode 2014-2018. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecakapan manajerial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas laba, kepemilikan manajerial berpengaruh positif terhadap kualitas laba, keahlian keuangan komite audit memoderasi secara posiif pengaruh kecakapan manajerial terhadap kualitas laba manajerial terhadap kualitas laba; gender memoderasi secara positif pengaruh kecakapan manajerial terhadap kualitas laba; dan gender tidak memoderasi pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial terhadap kualitas laba.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to examine the influence of personality factors (internal locus of control, need for achievement, and self-efficacy) on students’ entrepreneurial intentions. The sample of this research was selected by using purposive sampling. The data were collected by survey using questionnaires. Respondents who filled the questionnaires were 200 university students, studying in Yogyakarta. The data were analyzed by using multiple regressions. The result showed that all of the personality factors in this study had positive effects on students’ entrepreneurial intentions. In this study, it was found that the most significant variable to influence entrepreneurial intention was self-efficacy. The implication of this research is that if the number of entrepreneurs wants to be boosted, more attention must be paid to the personality factors of people.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether: 1) leadership style and work discipline have influence on the performance of civil servants, 2) compensation moderates the influence of leadership style on the performance of civil servants, and 3) compensation moderates the effect of work discipline on the performance of civil servants. This research was conducted in November 2019 and completed in January 2020 in three Sub-Districts: Tegalrejo, Gedongtengen, and Danurejan, Yoyakarta City. Research respondents are civil servants in the region. Sampling is done by non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The number of samples is 100 respondents. The data used are primary data using a questionnaire instrument. Hypothesis testing uses linear multiple regression models and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The research instrument used is valid and reliable. The data processed passed the classical assumption test. The findings of this study are as follows. Leadership style and work discipline have a positive effect on the performance of civil servants. Compensation moderates the effect leadership style on the performance of civil servants, and the moderation reinforces. However, compensation does not moderate the effect of work discipline on the performance of civil servants. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah: 1) gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja PNS, 2) kompensasi memoderasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja PNS, dan 3) kompensasi memoderasi pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja PNS. Penelitian ini dilakukan bulan November 2019 dan selesai Januari 2020 pada tiga wilayah pemerintahan Kecamatan Tegalrejo, Gedongtengen, dan Danurejan, Kota Yoyakarta. Responden penelitian adalah PNS di wilayah tersebut. Sampel dipilih dengan non-probability sampling melalui purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Data yang diolah adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan model regresi berganda linear dan moderated regression analysis (MRA). Instrument penelitian ini mengindikasikan valid dan reliable. Data yang diolah lulus uji asumsi klasik.Temuan penelitian ini seperti berikut. Gaya kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja PNS. Kompensasi memoderasi memperkuat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja PNS. Akan tetapi, kompensasi tidak memoderasi pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja PNS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Working Capital Efficiency, Sales Growth, and Company Size on Profitability of manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2014. This research is expected to be useful for the company to know the policy to be taken for business continuity. Based on the results of tests on the existing hypothesis, the results of this study as follows. Working Capital Turnover (WCT) has a positive and significant effect on profitability. The growth of the Company which is proxied by sales growth has negative and insignificant effect on profitability. Firm Size's firm size has a positive and significant effect on profitability. Therefore, profitability and firm size can be used to predict profitability of manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-201. , Keywords: Profitability, working capital, company growth, and firm size

Abstract

Perubahan bisnis dan ekonomi yang sedang dan akan terjadi berdampak pada dunia kerja, salah satunya pada peranan manajer dan karyawan sebagai professional dan cara bagaimana mereka mengelola karirnya. Perusahaan membutuhkan model manajemen karir yang align people management with managing the business. Perusahaan dapat mengambil peran melalui praktik manajemen karir organisasional yang diarahkan agar tercipta perbaikan perjanjian kerja dan penumbuhan career-resilient workforce. Manajer dan karyawan harus professional mengantar diri mereka sendiri untuk mampu bersaing meraih masa depan dengan menerapkan paradigma strategi karier yang terdiri dari: (1) bagaimana strategi menghadapi tantangan bersaing, (2) bagaimana strategi mendapatkan masa depan, (3) bagaimana strategi memobilisasi masa depan, dan (4) bagaimana strategi untuk tiba paling dulu di masa depan. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to test whether there is equity market timing on capital structure manufacturing company in Indonesia, and whether market timing of equity in the long term (persistent) effect on the capital structure of Indonesian manufacturing company. The sample used is the Indonesian manufacturing companies that go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2000-2008, and the data used is panel. Results of this study indicate that there is equity market timing on capital structure. Thus, there are indications of the practice of issuing shares at high and repurchasing at a low price. The results also indicate that equity market timing persistent influence on the capital structure.Keywords: equity market timing, market-to-book ratio, leverage, capital structure, and market value.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada market timing ekuitas pada struktur modal perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia, dan apakah market timing ekuitas dalam jangka panjang (persisten) berpengaruh terhadap struktur modal perusahaan manufaktur Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan adalah perusahaan manufaktur Indonesia yang melakukan IPO di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2000–2008, dan data yang digunakan adalah data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada market timing ekuitas pada struktur modal. Dengan demikian, ada indikasi praktik menerbitkan ekuitas saham pada saat harga (nilai) pasar ekuitas tinggi dan stock repurchase (membeli kembali saham) pada harga rendah. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa market timing ekuitas berpengaruh secara persisten terhadap struktur modal.Kata kunci: market timing ekuitas, market-to-book ratio, leverage, struktur modal, dan nilai pasar.

Abstract

Abstract: Policy in Determining and Financing Company’s Working Capital. In funding working capital, a company can use hedging policy, conservative policy, and aggressive policy. In relation to long-term versus short-term financing, temporary versus permanent current assets, and the trade-off between risk and profitability, it can be concluded that when the temporary current assets are financed by short-term financing they have moderate risk and profitability, when the temporary current assets are financed by long-term financing they have low risk and profitability, when the permanent current assets are financed by short-term funding they have high risk and profitability, and when the permanent current assets are financed by long-term financing they have moderate risk-profitability. To measure the performance of the working capital management, the working capital position of the company needs to be analyzed. By using the data presented on the balance sheet and income statement, the company can carry out the analysis of working capital performance using financial ratio analysis on working capital, analysis of the funding sources and use of funding statement, and analysis of the company's cash flow statement. Keywords: liquidity, capital, financing, profitability, and risk  Abstrak: Kebijakan dalam Penentuan dan Pendanaan Modal Kerja Perusahaan. Dalam mendanai modal kerja, perusahaan dapat menggunakan kebijakan hedging, kebijakan konservatif, dan kebijakan agresif. Dalam hubungannya antara pendanaan jangka pendek versus jangka panjang, aktiva lancar temporer versus permanen, dan trade-off antara risiko dan profitabilitas diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa jika aktiva lancar temporer dibiayai dengan pendanaan jangka pendek memiliki risiko dan profitabilitas moderat, jika aktiva lancar temporer dibiayai dengan pendanaan jangka panjang memiliki risiko dan profitabilitas rendah, jika aktiva lancar permanen dibiayai dengan pendanaan jangka pendek memiliki risiko dan profitabilitas tinggi, dan jika aktiva lancar permanen dibiayai dengan pendanaan jangka panjang memiliki risiko dan profitabilitas moderat. Untuk mengukur kinerja manajemen modal kerja, posisi modal kerja perusahaan perlu dianalisis. Dengan menggunakan data yang tersaji pada neraca dan laporan laba rugi, perusahaan dapat melakukan analisis kinerja modal kerja dengan menggunakan analisis rasio keuangan pada modal kerja, analisis pada laporan sumber dan penggunaan dana, dan analisis pada laporan aliran kas perusahaan. Kata kunci: likuiditas, modal, pendanaan, profitabilitas, dan risiko
