Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, various activities to stimulate young children suddenly stopped due to the emergency condition of the Covid-19 outbreak, However, the stimulation of growth and development for young children was quite ongoing and obtained quite good results by implementing the Covid-19 health protocol. The aims of this study is to describe the growth and development of children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data collected is by means of participants observation and in-depth interviews through FGDs. The research results obtained are that children's growth and development can be seen by monitoring in the form of anthropometric measurements at the puskesmas or public health centers, as well as passive monitoring of growth and development as seen from the KIA’s handbook to prevent mass crowds as an effort to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 . The result  in this study  found that most were on the growth line in the KIA’s Handbook, while for the level of nutritional intake there were still some children who were lacking in nutrition. Most of the development of gross and fine motor skills in children is in accordance with the KIA’s handbook, however there are a few whose development is not in line with the KIA’s handbook, this could be due to one of the contributing factors, namely nutritional intake. In addition there are 44.44% of children experienced the negative impact of the pandemic on their children's mental-emotional condition, 33.33% of their mental-emotional condition was not affected due to the covid 19 pandemic and 22.22% did not provide clear information. Some of contributing factors that hinder children's growth and development, one of which are nutritional status , the cooperation with health care facilities , and also the support from parents to use  educative indoor games and family recreation by implementing the Covid-19 health protocol.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum requires a paradigm shift from surface learning to deep learning. This community service program aims to enhance Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers' pedagogical competence in designing Deep Learning-based instruction aligned with the Pancasila Student Profile. Utilizing a participatory approach, the program included pedagogical training, coaching clinics, and reflective classroom mentoring. Program effectiveness was measured through self-efficacy pre-tests and post-tests, classroom observations, and lesson plan analysis. Results indicated a significant increase in teacher self-efficacy, with mean scores rising from 3.01 to 3.96 (a 31.5% increase; p < 0.01). The highest specific gains were recorded in the ability to use inquiry-based open questions (41.0%) and critical project design (38.6%). Qualitatively, a transformation in teaching practices was observed, characterized by the use of relevant local contexts, explicit communication of learning goals, and consistent scaffolding of critical reasoning. These findings confirm that reflective practice-based mentoring effectively drives a measurable and sustainable transition toward deep learning pedagogy in ECE settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of E-Digital-based services on community satisfaction at the Public Service Mall (Mall Pelayanan Publik) in Sidoarjo. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to users of digital-based population administration services at the Public Service Mall Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 100–150 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results show that E-Digital-based services are categorized as good with an average score of 4.13, while community satisfaction is categorized as high with an average score of 4.21. The regression analysis indicates that E-Digital-based services have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction. This implies that better digital service quality leads to higher levels of community satisfaction.However, several challenges remain, particularly related to system quality and digital literacy among the community. Therefore, improvements in technological infrastructure, human resource capacity, and public education on digital service utilization are necessary. This study is expected to contribute to the development of more effective, efficient, and responsive digital public services.

Abstract

This study aims to describe community assessment of administrative service performance at Puskesmas Sopaaah, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants consisted of service users, administrative staff, and the head of the health center. The results showed that community assessments of administrative services were varied. The community assessed that service speed was still slow, procedures were convoluted, staff attitudes were less responsive, waiting room facilities were inadequate, and information dissemination was still suboptimal. The main obstacles faced were limited staff, manual information systems, and budget constraints. This study recommends increasing staff, service digitization, facility improvement, strengthening socialization, and enhancing staff competency to improve the quality of administrative services at Puskesmas Sopaaah.

Abstract

Purpose: Elaborating the leadership role of the kyai. Finding solutions to prevent the tradition of child marriage as an effort to strengthen human resources in Madura through an approach based on government policies and traditional practices in the community. Methodology: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, in-depth interviews with informants and key informants. Using an interview guide. Primary data was collected through in-depth interviews. Data were enriched with observation and review of relevant literature. Results: 1) Public policies are implemented in a structured, systematic and massive manner. 2) The implementation of the policy encountered several obstacles and obstacles related to the tradition of child marriage which is rooted because it is carried out for generations, 3) The role of kyai has the power to help overcome child marriage strategically and systematically, as an effort to help strengthen human resources in Madura. Kyai is very open, willing and easy to accept new knowledge related to the physical and psychological health impacts of child marriage. Conclusions: Kyai is a role model-teacher figure for Madurese people who should be obeyed and followed. The role of kyai leadership is a potential that can answer problems in Madura as an effort to strengthen human resources by not marrying off their children at an early age. Although the tradition of child marriage in Madura is very rooted. Limitations: This research is limited to providing awareness, solutions and proposals for strategic steps that must be taken for structural clerics, cultural clerics, communities and policy makers. Further research is needed regarding the application and evaluation of the implementation of the NU/MUI fatwa in preventing child marriage. Contribution: Contributing to the scientific field for scientists, policy makers, religious leaders and the community: realizing the leadership role of kyai, providing solutions to prevent child marriage. Kyai's fatwa can save the fate of the nation's children, provide access to higher education. This research is the basis for making policies and the next strategic steps.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the reading literacy skills of MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah students through visual-based text reading activities. The method applied was literacy mentoring using a participatory approach, involving students in guided reading, reading aloud in front of the class, and simple discussions supported by visual media. The program was conducted through several stages, including initial observation, implementation of reading assistance, and reflection. The results indicate that students became more active and enthusiastic in reading activities, showed increased confidence in reading aloud, and were able to better understand the reading texts. The use of visual media helped create a more engaging learning environment and supported students’ reading comprehension. This program demonstrates that visual-based reading literacy mentoring is an effective approach to enhancing reading literacy among MIS Tarbiyatul Islamiyah students.

Abstract

Pengembangan sumber daya manusia (SDM) menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital yang ditandai oleh derasnya arus informasi dan kompleksitas permasalahan sosial. Salah satu kompetensi yang diperlukan adalah kemampuan literasi, menulis, dan berpikir kritis sebagai sarana membangun kesadaran sosial serta partisipasi masyarakat. Pengurus Forum PAUD Jawa Timur memiliki peran strategis sebagai penggerak pendidikan masyarakat dan penguatan karakter anak usia dini, namun budaya menulis dan kemampuan berpikir kritis masih belum berkembang secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas SDM pengurus Forum PAUD Jawa Timur melalui pemberdayaan budaya menulis dan berpikir kritis berbasis isu sosial. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, workshop penulisan, advokasi dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara partisipatif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis pemberdayaan komunitas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan partisipasi peserta dalam menulis, berkembangnya kemampuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis isu sosial pendidikan, meningkatnya keberanian menyampaikan gagasan melalui tulisan, serta terbentuknya budaya diskusi dan komunitas literasi organisasi. Selain itu, dihasilkan beberapa karya tulis dan buku kolaboratif sebagai luaran kegiatan. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan budaya menulis dan berpikir kritis efektif dalam mendukung pengembangan SDM berbasis komunitas serta memperkuat kapasitas organisasi pendidikan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan.
