Abstract

The research is aimed at: (1) knowing the influence of Islamic branding on public interest in becoming a customer at BSI Branch Gowa; (2) finding out the impact of Shariah financial literature on the interest of the public being a customer at BSI Gowa Branch; (3) knowing about the effect of service quality on the public's interest in becoming a customer; and (4) learning about the influences of Muslim branding, shariah finance literature, and service quality on public interest in becoming a client at BSI Branch Gowa. This type of research is quantitative and descriptive. The data used is primary data. Primary data is collected using questionnaires, observations, and documentation. double-linear regression test analysis method. Sampling is a simple, random sampling technique. The sample used as many as 80 respondents, and data analysis was done using IBM SPSS 28. The results of this study show that: (1) Islamic branding has no positive and non-significant influence on public interest in BSI Gowa Branch; (2) Shariah financial literacy has a positive and significant influence upon public interest to become a customer of BSI Gowa Branch; (3) Service quality has a negative and significant impact on the interest of the public in becoming a customer; and (4) Islamic branding, Sharial literature, and Service quality have a positive and significant effect on the public's interest in being a customer at BSI Gowa Branch. Implications in this study are that Islamic branding has become an early reflection of BSI Gowa branch operating in accordance with the principle of shariah, even though the public is not fully aware of this. A high level of understanding of the sharial financial literature can give a boost to the public, especially about BSI Gwang Gowa branch, and good service quality is able to have a positive impact on the development of BSI Gowa branches.

Abstract

Post-Translational Modification (PTM) denotes a biochemical alteration observed in an amino acid, playing crucial roles in protein activity, functionality, and the regulation of protein structure. The recognition of associated PTMs serves as a fundamental basis for understanding biological processes, therapeutic interventions for diseases, and the development of pharmaceutical agents. Using computational approaches (in silico) offers an efficient and cost-effective means to identify PTM sites swiftly. The exploration of protein classification commences with extracting protein sequence features that are subsequently transformed into numerical features for utilization in classification algorithms. Feature extraction methodologies involve using protein descriptors like Amino Acid Composition (AAC) and Dipeptide Composition (DC). Yet, these approaches exhibit a limitation by neglecting crucial amino acid sequence details. Moreover, both descriptor techniques generate a limited number of 1-dimensional (1D) features, which may not be ideal for processing through the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) classification method. This investigation presents a novel approach to enhance feature diversity through protein sequence segmentation techniques, employing adjacent and overlapping segment strategies. Furthermore, the study illustrates the organization of features into 1D and 2D formats to facilitate processing through 1D CNN and 2D CNN classification methodologies. The findings of this research endeavour highlight the potential for enhancing the accuracy of acetylation classification in lysine proteins through the multiplication of protein sequence segments in a 2D configuration. The highest accuracy achieved for AAC and DC-based feature extraction methods is 77.39% and 76.75%, respectively.

Abstract

Worldwide fructose consumption continues to increase annually. It is well-established that high-dose fructose consumption can lead to metabolic disorders in humans. One of the indicators affected is uric acid, with several studies reporting increased uric acid levels following fructose intake. This study employs a systematic literature review and meta-analysis approach. We conducted a literature search exclusively in the PubMed database using keywords related to hyperuricemia, uric acid, fructose, and human health. The search was based on the PICO strategy: human health (population), fructose (intervention), glucose (comparison), uric acid (outcome). Nine eligible documents were analyzed for meta-analysis out of 81 documents retrieved from the PubMed database. Based on the Random Effects model (RE), the Standardized Mean Difference (SMD) value was -0.37 (95% CI; -1.34 to 0.59). The RE value crosses the vertical 0 line. Across various clinical studies, fructose consumption did not significantly show negative effects. Although some studies demonstrated dynamic changes, they remained within the normal range. However, these conclusions cannot be directly generalized due to limited knowledge on the long-term effects of fructose. Additionally, aspects such as dosage, duration, type of fructose, anthropometry, and subject characteristics need further attention and analysis in each fructose-related study, as they may be significant factors contributing to variations in study outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and predict operational expenditure patterns at PT. Tri Tunas Unggul using the Simple Moving Average (SMA) method. The research data consists of daily operational expenditure records from July to October 2024. The analysis employs two SMA periods, 7-day and 30-day intervals, to identify both short-term and long-term expenditure trends. The results show that the 7-day SMA provides more responsive tracking of changes in daily expenditures, while the 30-day SMA reveals more stable long-term trends. The analysis identifies three significant peaks in the 7-day SMA in early August, late September, and mid-October, indicating cyclical spending patterns. This research demonstrates that the SMA method can be effectively utilized as a financial analysis tool to support decision-making in managing operational costs and investment strategies at PT. Tri Tunas Unggul.

Abstract

A measurement of a nation's human resource condition is the human development index (HDI). The three components of the human development index are living standards, often known as economics, and health. In Central Sulawesi Province in 2019, this study seeks to ascertain the impact of life expectancy (AHH) and per capita spending on the human development index (HDI). Secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Central Sulawesi Province, corroborated by additional sources, was used in this study. The multiple linear regression analysis methods were the analysis technique used in this study. The findings demonstrated a positive and significant impact of partially variable Life Expectancy (AHH) and per capita spending variables on the Human Development Index (HDI). The Human Development Index (HDI) in Central Sulawesi Province is thereafter significantly impacted by the combination of the two independent factors in 2019.

Abstract

Money is a tool that can be used in exchanging goods and services in a certain area. Increasing and decreasing in the money supply excessively can have a negative impact on the economy. For this reason, in order to maintain financial system stability in Indonesia, it is necessary to conduct an analysis of the data on the amount of outflows of rupiah currency at each Bank Indonesia office. In this study, a relationship analysis will be carried out between the eastern region of Indonesia and the amount of outflows of Bank Indonesia banknotes during the 2016-2018 period using circular regression analysis. The results showed that 83.03% of the variation in the amount of outflows of BI banknotes could be explained by the circular regression model that was formed. In addition, in the process of forecasting data on the amount of outflows of BI banknotes in the eastern region of Indonesia for the 2019-2020 period, the time series forecasting method is used which is based on the use of analysis of the relationship pattern between the estimated variables and the time variable.
