Abstract

This study examines the influence of social media platform types and posting frequency on the level of follower interest in a content creator's account. The analysis results show that the type of platform (Instagram or TikTok) does not have a significant impact on follower interest. However, posting frequency is proven to have a substantial influence, with weekly frequency showing the most positive impact. The interaction between platform type and posting frequency does not demonstrate a significant effect. These findings suggest that content creators can focus on adjusting their posting frequency, particularly with a weekly schedule, to increase follower interest, without needing to worry about choosing between Instagram or TikTok platforms.

Abstract

This study aims to calculate Indonesian pension funds using the Group Self Anuitization method and Makeham's death law. The calculation of the GSA method is almost the same as the calculation of an annuity for life, so the price determination procedure includes calculating the level of annuity payments. The death rate is projected by Makeham Mortality Law based on Indonesian Mortality Table IV. Based on an analysis with the same premium amount, it is known that the benefits of male pension funds are greater than women for each age at which benefits are paid, pension funds paid to policyholders increase from 2019-2021 and decrease in 2022, the higher the entry age payment of pension funds, the benefits obtained will be even greater Keywords: Group Self Annuitization; Pension Fund; Makeham Law; Premiums; Annuity Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dana pensiun Indonesia dengan menggunakan metode Group Self Anuitization dan hukum kematian Makeham. Abstract

The method of catching fish carried out by traditional fishermen in "fisherman-cage" still uses petromax lamps with kerosene or lamps from generators that run on diesel fuel. These situations could cause oil spills that pollute the environment and are prone to fires. This community service program introduces a new energy source, by designing a solar-based lighting system (PLTS), where sunlight is converted into electric current and stored in batteries as a backup current at night. In this design, fishermen can optimize lighting by adjusting the position of the lamp according to the sea level at high and low tide to attract plankton and fish to enter the cage net. The design of the prototype has been tested in the TI-MR ITEBA laboratory with very satisfactory results, and then it was continued with serial production of 10 sets to be handed over to the fishing community. The fisherman directly recognized the success of the 10 sets of PLTS in increasing fish catches and getting environmentally friendly when the team visited the cage location

Abstract

The low resistance of wood as a frame material for traditional fishing boats against splashing sea water, humidity, and high-temperature fluctuations was studied in this study by adding coconut coir fiber to wood paint, where this mixture will become an anti-weathering composite material. To make compatibility between the fibers from coir which are water-absorbing (hydrophilic) and alkyd paints which are water-repellent (hydrophobic), the author gives special treatment to the coco fibers through an acetone pre-treatment process and hot alkali (hot alkali treatment) by soaking fiber in 10% high-temperature sodium hydroxide NaOH solution. Soaking in this solution is able to modify fibers that have a rough surface and reduce hydrogen bonding thereby improving the interfacial bond between the fiber and the filler in the composite. The results obtained were that the addition of fiber with a weight fraction of 3.40% to the alkyd paint matrix made the composite the most optimal anti-weathering coating.

Abstract

In plant heredity, the phenotype is the result of observation that can be directly observed, while the genotype is the underlying hidden factor that underlies the expression of the phenotype. The genotype is an important aspect that needs to be understood to explain the pattern of trait inheritance and predict trait inheritance in subsequent generations. The discrete hidden Markov model is a model generated by pair of an unobserved Markov chain and an observation process. This model can be applied to tetraploid plant crosses by modeling genotypes as hidden state and phenotypes as the obeservation process. The probability of dominant phenotype in monohybrid, dihybrid and trihybrid crosses occurring over ten generations during that period is as follows 61,305%, 37,583%, and 23,041%. Furthermore, as more traits are crossed, the probability of dominant phenotype appearing within ten generations decreases. When the dominant phenotype occurs over ten generations, the same genotype can be obtained in monohybrid, dihybrid, and trihybrid crosses, which is heterozygous in the first and second generations, while from the third to the tenth generation it is homozygous dominant.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to analyze the characteristics of international tourists in Indonesia using Clustering Method: Complete Linkage. The study successfully identified 5 distinct clusters based on nationality and tourism travel characteristics. The analysis showed significant differences between clusters in terms of country of origin, travel patterns, preferences, expenditure, and tourist activities. Cluster 1 was dominated by ASEAN and Middle Eastern countries with stable visitation patterns influenced by geographical proximity and cultural and business relationships. Cluster 2 was the largest group, encompassing various countries with holiday and business tourism characteristics, longer stays, and higher expenditure. Clusters 3, 4, and 5 each consisted of a single country: Timor Leste, Hong Kong, and Papua New Guinea respectively, with unique visitation patterns. Each cluster showed differences in travel purposes, length of stay, expenditure, and activities of interest. A deep understanding of each tourist group’s characteristics was crucial for developing more targeted tourism marketing strategies. The clustering results could be utilized for infrastructure planning, resource allocation, promotional strategies, and service improvements tailored to each group’s characteristics, thereby enhancing tourist experiences and Indonesia’s overall tourism competitiveness.

Abstract

Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) is a problem in shipping that focuses on distributing goods from a depot to customers. There are several developments from VRP, one of which is the Multi Depot Vehicle Routing Problem (MDVRP). The MDVRP model has the same goal as the VRP, which is to minimize travel costs. The difference between VRP and MDVRP depends on the depot used. In VRP, only one depot is used. Whereas in MDVRP, there is more than one depot used. This research discussed the delivery of goods to two depots. The aim of this research is to form a model for shipping goods using two depots, determine the total travel cost, and determine the optimal route to delivery of the goods. The data used in this research is secondary data. The result of this research is that the model for the MDVRP aims to minimize the total travel cost by using two depots and serving 10 customer locations. The total cost of the trip is IDR 390,000, with a total distance traveled as far as 300 km, and the optimal routes for delivering goods involve each depot making two trips. The first depot covers distances of 57 km and 48 km, and the second depot covers distances of 92 km and 103 km.
