Abstract

Pendidikan Kesetaraan memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan akses pendidikan bagi masyarakat yang tidak dapat mengikuti pendidikan formal. Kualitas tutor menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan program ini. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan tutor dalam mengimplenetasikan Model Pembelajaran Holistik yang mengintegrasikan aspek akademik, sosial-emosional, nilai-nilai karakter, dan keterampilan kehidupan nyata untuk meningkatkan kompetensi tutor di PKBM Jingga Kota Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelatihan intensif kepada tutor, pengenalan media pembelajaran interaktif, dan evaluasi berkala. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi tutor sebesar 40%, serta motivasi belajar peserta didik yang meningkat 30%. Pembelajaran yang inklusif dan bermakna berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di PKBM Jingga, dengan produk yang dihasilkan berupa buku panduan, modul pelatihan, dan platform e-learning yang dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, penerapan model ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang inklusif, bermanfaat, dan berkarakter di Pendidikan Kesetaraan. Abstract Equivalency Education plays a pivotal role in expanding access to learning for individuals unable to participate in formal schooling. Tutor quality is a key determinant of program success. This community service program aimed to strengthen tutors’ capacity to implement a Holistic Learning Model that integrates academic content, socio-emotional development, character values, and real-life skills, thereby improving tutor competence at PKBM Jingga, Bekasi City. The methods included intensive tutor training, the introduction of interactive learning media, and regular evaluations. The program yielded a 40% increase in tutor competence and a 30% rise in learner motivation. Inclusive and meaningful learning improved the overall quality of education at PKBM Jingga, with tangible outputs including a guidebook, training modules, and a sustainable e-learning platform. In conclusion, implementing this model can enhance inclusive, impactful, and character-building learning in Equivalency Education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Understanding basic chemistry concepts is an important fundamental concept in high school chemistry education. This concept is very difficult to integrate into real-world phenomena, as learning generally emphasizes memorization and has minimal connection to real-world phenomena. Based on this, research to analyze the effectiveness of the Collaborative Cross-Disciplinary Chemistry-Physics Project-Based Learning (PJBL) model with 10 Eco-Friendly Product Project themes to improve understanding of basic chemistry concepts needs to be conducted. The method used was a quasi-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design on 55 high school students in Jakarta. The data, in the form of pretest-posttest scores, were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, Pearson's correlation, and N-Gain. The results showed an increase in the average score from 66.36 on the pretest to 85.55 on the posttest, with the percentage of mastery increasing from 45.45% to 90.91%. The decrease in standard deviation indicates a more even distribution of scores. Statistical analysis shows a statistically significant increase (p<0.001) and a moderate positive correlation between the initial and final scores. The group performance assessment data during the implementation of PjBL shows that each group demonstrated adequate understanding in relating chemistry concepts to the projects they worked on, as well as good ability based on the five predetermined criteria.
