Abstract

Fabric waste is a major problem that has an impact on the environment, especially due to the fast fashion phenomenon. In Indonesia, small businesses have begun to emerge that use deadstock materials using upcycling techniques, one of which is Tea Time Label, which uses them to make women's hair accessories. This research wants to know more about the branding process of Tea Time Label upcycled products as a brand that loves the environment through Instagram social media. The main theory used is the branding process according to Wheeler, & Millman which consists of conducting research, clarifying strategy, designing identity, creating touchpoints, and managing assets. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that the branding process of this local small and medium company is in accordance with the branding process theory mentioned above and the thing that is most often done is designing the identity and values of the Tea Time Label.

Abstract

Heroism reflects values such as empathy, sacrifice, love, and courage, which positively impact communities. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, contributing IDR 8,573.89 trillion to the GDP and employing 97% of the workforce, can be regarded as unsung heroes due to their significant role in enhancing societal welfare. Digitalization is a crucial element in empowering MSMEs, with a reported 30% increase in income for those adopting digital platforms. This study analyzes the YouTube video "Unseen Heroes: Srikandi Penerus Tradisi," which tells the story of Ni Made Rini Wahyuni, a Balinese MSME entrepreneur. Using Roland Barthes' semiotics, the study explores heroism values through the concepts of denotation, connotation, and myth. The findings reveal that Ni Made’s journey exemplifies heroism in preserving traditions while leveraging modern technology. The video portrays MSMEs as everyday heroes playing a vital role in social and economic transformation.

Abstract

Di tengah meningkatnya kebutuhan akan ruang reflektif bagi wanita karier dalam mencapai mindfulness, konten Honest Wellness yang diproduksi oleh Mood Studios hadir sebagai bentuk narasi digital yang menggabungkan praktik yoga, mindfulness, dan keseimbangan hidup. Melalui cerita personal yang diunggah di Instagram, para anggota komunitas membagikan pengalaman otentik mereka, menciptakan keterhubungan emosional dan penguatan identitas diri. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan paradigma interpretif, memanfaatkan observasi naratif dan wawancara semi-terstruktur terhadap pihak internal serta tiga storyteller perempuan dari komunitas Mood Studios. Teori utama yang digunakan adalah digital storytelling dari Lambert, dengan dukungan konsep paradigma naratif dari Fisher. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa elemen-elemen digital storytelling yang dikemukakan oleh Lambert—seperti Point of View, A Moment of Change, Emotional Content, The Gift of Your Voice, Pacing, Economy, dan The Power of the Soundtrack—terwujud secara bermakna dalam konten Honest Wellness. Elemen-elemen ini tidak hanya merepresentasikan pengalaman personal para pencerita, tetapi juga membentuk ruang komunikasi digital yang otentik dan emosional. Melalui praktik digital storytelling di Instagram, identitas wanita karier dibentuk dan diperkuat dalam komunitas yoga yang terbangun melalui ruang narasi digital.
