Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Inkuiri berbantuan media jarimatika pada materi operasi hitung bilangan campuran tehadap pemahaman konsep kelas IV SD Negeri Karangroto 01. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimental design. Populasi berjumlah 30 siswa dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh yaitu menjadikan seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan media jarimatika (X), sedangkan variable terikatnya adalah hasil belajar kognitif pemahaman konsep matematika (Y). berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa data penelitian berupa nilai output pretest dan output posttest dengan signifikan 0,06>0,05 berdistribusi normal. Uji hipotesis terhadap pengaruh X terhadap Y diperoleh nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000<0,05 yang berarti berpengaruh signifikan, dan pada uji gain ternormalisasi diperoleh nilai >0,03 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan nilai hasil sebelum dan sesudah X terhadap Y.Kata Kunci: inkuiri, jarimatika, pemahaman konsep, matematika

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems for class III students at SDN 1 Tunjungharjo using the realistic mathematics education (RME) model assisted by puzzle media is the focus of this research. Use of quantitative methods with a pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest design to obtain research data. A systematic sampling procedure was used to select the sample, with 37 students serving as the research sample from a total population of 40 students. The findings of this research show that students understand the indicators of problem solving: reading and understanding the problem, exploring the problem, choosing a solution strategy, looking for answers, and checking again. The results of the data analysis carried out show that there is an influence of the realistic mathematics education model assisted by puzzle media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class III students. This is shown by the results of the paired sample t-test where Lower has a negative value with a gain of -53.279 and Upper has a negative value with a gain of -44.018 and a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 which means Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Apart from that, the gain test results showed an increase in the medium category with a score of 0.674.

Abstract

Students' low numeracy literacy skills in connecting mathematics with real-life applications and solving HOTS questions effectively. This research aims to find out how the numeracy literacy skills of class V students are in flat plane material. This research uses a qualitative case study type method with the Miles and Huberman model.    The research results show that the numeracy literacy skills of class V students at SDI Sultan Agung 1.3 Semarang are still quite low. Of the 22 students, 14 students had low numeracy abilities, 5 students had medium numeracy abilities, and 3 students had high numeracy abilities These findings also show that the majority of students have difficulty with word problems that require in-depth understanding of the context, indicating a lack of students' skills in working on HOTS-based questions and a lack of exposure to numeracy literacy activities. The findings of this research can be a basis for teachers to develop more effective learning strategies in improving students' numeracy literacy skills. This research provides a new view on how numeracy literacy can influence students' abilities in solving HOTS questions, especially on the topic of plane figures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-book anti korupsi, kelayakam, serta kepraktisannya. Latar belakang dari penelitian ini yaitu implementasi P5 yang masih kurang, selain itu juga pendidikan anti-korupsi terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman guru dan media pembelajaran untuk diajarkan kepada peserta didik. Kelebihan dari buku ini adalah penyajian materi yang jelas dan sederhana sehingga mudah untuk dipahami dan dicerna siswa. Model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) adalah model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan dari lima tahapan tersebut, pengembangan e-book anti korupsi menghasilkan persentase dari kedua validator sebesar 85% kategori Layak. Persentase kepraktisan dari uji respon siswa sebesar 99,25% kategori Sangat Praktis, dan uji respon guru sebesar 98% kategori Sangat Praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-book anti korupsi dinyatakan layak dan praktis untuk diterapkan di siswa kelas IV SDN 1 Sojomerto, Kabupaten Kendal.

Abstract

During the pandemic, elementary school teachers have experienced difficulties in implementing a full online learning system because this was their first time to do it. They have not fully mastered various online learning and assessment method, so they mostly used Whatsapp as the main platform. Those problems were also faced by the teachers of SD Bangetayu Kulon. The purpose of this service is to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers towards bold learning. The subjects of this service are elementary school teachers, totaling 8 people. The training was implemented using several methods, such as lecturing, question and answer, and the direct practice method. The data were collected using observation method. The results showed that all teachers have succeeded to create and manage an online class in Edmodo and conducting online assessments by using Kahoot! and Quizizz. After this training, they will be able to conduct a more organized and interesting online learning using various platforms.

Abstract

The mathematics lesson on addition and subtraction word problems for second-grade students in elementary school can enhance students' problem-solving skills and enable them to analyze information to find solutions. According to students, mathematics is considered a boring and difficult subject, especially in the material of addition and subtraction word problems, where students often struggle to understand the sentences, making it hard for them to solve the problems. Therefore, the objective of this research is to test and determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive PowerPoint learning media on the mathematical calculation abilities of second-grade students at the Primary School of Islam Sultan Agung 4. This study uses a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental type, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest design, and employs a test as the data collection technique. The sample consists of 20 students. Based on the normality test results, the pretest has a sig. value of 0.627 ˃ α, indicating that the data is normally distributed, while the posttest has a sig. value of 0.768 ˃ α, also indicating normal distribution. In the hypothesis test using the paired-sample t-test, the sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 ˂ 0.05, suggesting a significant difference in mathematical calculation abilities before and after the treatment using the PBL model assisted by interactive PowerPoint media. After the treatment, students became more active in learning, able to engage in discussions, divide tasks within groups, and differentiate sentences that indicate addition and subtraction operations in word problems, ultimately improving their calculation abilities.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika pada materi penjumlahan bersusun siswa kelas II SDN Pamongan 1 dengan penerapan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) berbantuan media PAJUSUN (Papan Penjumlahan Bersusun) merupakan tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini. Masalah utama yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya pemahaman siswa, seperti kesulitan dalam menentukan letak satuan dan puluhan, serta kurang dalam memahami teknik tanpa menyimpan dan teknik menyimpan. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental (one-group pretest-posttest) pada 24 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil analisis ditunjukkan pada hasil rata-rata nilai posttest mencapai 77,67 yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 47,17. Serta, hasil uji paired sample t-test dengan mendapatkan hasil pada kolom Lower memiliki nilai negatif sebesar -39,912 dan pada kolom Upper memiliki nilai negatif sebesar -21,088 serta, pada kolom Sig. (2-tailed) memperoleh nilai 0,000 sehingga, H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Dengan demikian, terdapat pengaruh penerapan model PBL (Problem Based Learning) berbantuan media PAJUSUN (Papan Penjumlahan Bersusun) terhadap pemahaman konsep penjumlahan bersusun siswa kelas II SDN Pamongan 1.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan implementasi salah satu elemen Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi dengan tujuan utama mengaplikasikan konsep akademik untuk memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat luas. Penelitian dalam program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru sekolah dasar dalam menulis karya ilmiah, khususnya di SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara. Pendekatan berbasis partisipasi diterapkan melalui diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion/FGD), pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Metode ini melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk guru, siswa, dan pemangku kepentingan sekolah, untuk menciptakan kolaborasi yang efektif dalam mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi guru, yaitu rendahnya kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam memahami dan mengimplementasikan teknik penulisan akademik. Guru berhasil menyusun draft karya ilmiah yang relevan dengan pembelajaran, meskipun beberapa memerlukan pendampingan lanjutan terkait analisis data dan pengutipan. Sebagai tindak lanjut, guru didorong untuk menyempurnakan karya dan mempublikasikannya pada jurnal atau seminar pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan dukungan berkelanjutan, kegiatan ini diharapkan memberikan dampak positif bagi peningkatan kualitas profesionalisme guru dan pendidikan di SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara. Community service is an implementation of one of the elements of the Tridharma of Higher Education with the main objective of applying academic concepts to provide benefits to the wider community. This community service research aims to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in writing scientific papers, especially at SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara. A participation-based approach is applied through focus group discussions (FGD), training, mentoring, and evaluation. This method involves various parties, including teachers, students, and school stakeholders, to create effective collaboration in overcoming the obstacles faced by teachers, namely the low ability to write scientific papers. The results of the community service show an increase in teacher competence in understanding and implementing academic writing techniques. Teachers succeeded in compiling drafts of scientific papers that were relevant to learning, although some required further mentoring related to data analysis and citation. As a follow-up, teachers were encouraged to perfect their work and publish it in educational journals or seminars. With a participatory approach and ongoing support, this activity is expected to have a positive impact on improving the quality of teacher professionalism and education at SD Negeri 1 Ngasem Jepara.

Abstract

Permasalahan pada kelompok kerja guru (KKG) Kabupaten Kudus adalah masih kurangnya pemahaman guru dalam pemanfaatan internet sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif dan belum adanya media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis internet seperti media dengan aplikasi Khoot, Wordwall, dan Quizizz. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam pembuatan media berbasis internet dan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Khoot, Wordwall, dan Quizizz. Pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan metode small group discussion dengan berbagai teknik seperti tutorial dan tutor sebaya. Adapun tahap pengabdian meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, terapan teknologi dan keberlanjutan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap pemanfaatan internet sebagai media pembelajaran inovatif yang ditunjukkan dengan capaian pemahaman rata-rata 85% selain itu dari kegiatan pengabdian ini guru mampu membuat media pembelajaran inovatif menggunakan aplikasi Khoot, Wordwall, dan Quizizz ditunjukkan dengan capaian 80% guru dapat mengembangkan media tersebut dan menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran. Jadi kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan dampak positif karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman guru sehingga mampu mengembangkan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis internet.

Abstract

This study examines the learning challenges in Grade IV of Bakalrejo 2 Elementary School, such as low student understanding of instructional texts, minimal involvement in class, and less communicative teaching methods. Although the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has been proven to improve learning outcomes, its specific application in instructional text learning has rarely been studied. Most previous studies have only focused on general literacy or understanding of narrative texts, not instructional texts that require spatial reasoning, such as reading floor plans. This study presents a novelty by combining the PjBL model and interactive visual media such as floor plans, to improve students' understanding of instructional texts. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and includes classroom observations, LKPD analysis, and student project evaluations. The main focus of the study is: (1) students' ability to understand texts, (2) stages of PjBL implementation, and (3) utilization of interactive media as an aid. The results of the study indicate that the integration of PjBL with visual media can improve students' understanding and involvement in learning. This approach makes a positive contribution to improving the quality of Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level.
