Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku pencarian informasi lowongan pekerjaan oleh peserta program kerja di Balai Latihan Kerja Disnakertrans Karawang. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kajian pustaka. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah lima peserta program kerja di Balai Latihan Kerja Disnakertrans Karawang. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua informan mengikuti beberapa tahapan pencarian informasi dan mengungkap beberapa faktor serta hambatan yang dialami oleh para peserta program kerja tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi komunikasi dan informasi pada beberapa sektor, tak terkecuali bisnis. Pada era New Normal, budaya kerja Hybrid semakin marak diterapkan. Selama kurun waktu tersebut, banyak bermunculan media komunikasi berbasis komputer yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk komunikasi jarak jauh, salah satunya adalah aplikasi “Lark – Team Collaboration”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh media komunikasi Lark terhadap efektivitas pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi. Metode yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei kepada 30 populasi mahasiswa magang MSIB Divisi Marketing di PT. Orbit Ventura Indonesia. Teori yang menjadi dukungan pada penelitian kali ini adalah teori CMC (Computer-Mediated Communication). Hasil penelitian ini ialah dari tiga dimensi CMC Accessibility, Speed, dan Amount, hanya dimensi Amount yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap efektivitas pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi Mahasiswa Magang MSIB Divisi Marketing di PT. Orbit Ventura Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the meaning of supporters for the Northernwall community in Bandung City. The research questions include the motives of the Northernwall community in becoming football supporters, how they perceive themselves as supporters, and the communication experiences that occur in the stands. The research method employed is phenomenology with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation to deeply explore information from informants. This study involves five informants selected based on their experiences and involvement in the Northernwall community. The findings indicate that the meaning of being a supporter for Northernwall members is not merely about supporting a team, but also represents a form of identity and solidarity. Supporter motives vary, ranging from love for football to the influence of the subcultural identity they embrace. Communication experiences within the Northernwall community occur effectively through social media and direct interactions in the stadium. This strengthens the sense of togetherness and loyalty among members, creating a profound emotional bond with the supported team. This research provides insights into the complexities of the supporters' roles within the cultural and social context in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong media lokal di Indonesia untuk melakukan konvergensi media, yaitu penggabungan praktik jurnalistik tradisional dengan platform digital dan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi, tantangan, dan dinamika jurnalisme media sosial pada Radar Bekasi dan Radar Karawang, yang mencakup aspek produksi, diseminasi, konsumsi berita, serta penerapan etika jurnalistik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Radar Bekasi menekankan kompetensi multitasking jurnalis, kurasi internal, serta distribusi konten yang terstruktur sesuai data insight audiens, sedangkan Radar Karawang lebih mengedepankan rapat redaksi kolektif, distribusi cepat, serta fokus pada isu kriminalitas, sensasi, dan empati sosial. Kedua media sama-sama menghadapi dilema besar dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara kecepatan dan verifikasi, popularitas dan tanggung jawab edukatif, serta idealisme etika dan tuntutan algoritma media sosial. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi media sosial dalam jurnalisme lokal memperkuat relevansi media di era digital, tetapi juga menuntut peningkatan kapasitas jurnalis, penguatan mekanisme verifikasi, dan pengelolaan interaksi audiens secara profesional agar kredibilitas dan fungsi edukatif media tetap terjagat.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and describe the patterns of verbal and nonverbal communication between teachers and B-type students (deaf) at the junior high school level at SLB Negeri Kabupaten Karawang in teaching and learning activities. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and in-depth interviews with two teachers as informants, the study illustrates how communication within the learning process is shaped and adapted to accommodate students’ hearing limitations. The findings reveal that teachers implement various communication patterns, including linear (one-way), interactive (two-way), multilateral (group), and total communication (komtal). These patterns are adjusted based on the students’ conditions, abilities, and needs. Nonverbal communication, such as gestures, facial expressions, body movements, and visual media, plays a crucial role in effectively conveying messages. Total communication is the primary approach as it integrates multiple communication modes to comprehensively meet students’ needs. The findings emphasize the importance of teachers’ adaptability and empathy in building effective social interaction with deaf students.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the construction of meaning behind the phenomenon of living together (cohabitation) among students in Bandung City. Using Edmund Husserl's phenomenological approach, this qualitative research reveals the motives, meanings, and responses of students towards the practice of living with a partner without marriage ties. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with students and analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that the decision to engage in living together is driven by a complex interaction between pragmatic-external motives (such as economic and time efficiency) and personal-emotional motives (such as the need for closeness and compatibility testing). The meanings attributed to this practice vary, ranging from a pre-marital simulation, a violation of norms, an expression of freedom, to a means of developing emotional independence. Although aware of the negative impacts (social stigma, reputation risks, and gender inequality), students still consider the personal benefits of cohabitation. This study concludes that living together for students is a liminal space full of negotiation between traditional and modern values, where meaning is formed subjectively through their direct lived experience (lifeworld).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the marketing communication strategy implemented by the photography service account @setangkaiproject through Instagram. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach based on Edmund Husserl's framework and analyzed through Planning Theory and the Circular Model of SoMe, this research reveals the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation processes in digital marketing communication. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with account managers and thematic analysis of Instagram content. The findings indicate that @setangkaiproject's strategy is systematically organized, structured, and consistently implemented. Content planning is conducted through theme development, visual concepts, and color tones aligned with brand identity. Strategy implementation follows the four stages of the Circular Model of SoMe: Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage. Evaluation based on Instagram insights is used to assess content effectiveness and adjust subsequent strategies. This study concludes that the designed communication strategy successfully supports the formation of a professional image and increases audience interaction and interest in @setangkaiproject's photography services.
