Abstract

The research aimed at describe the improvement of comprehension reading skill by Using Generating Interacting Schemata and Text (GIST) Method in Grade IV of SD Negeri 13 Pasar Kambang Kecamatan Lengayang Regency of South Pesisir. Research subjects were teachers (practitioners) and 20 students. The average value of the class at the pre-cycle stage of cycle I 65.00 (enough) in cycle II increases to 75.00 (B), the stage when reading cycle I 68.00 (enough) in cycle II increases to 79.00 (B) , Stage pascabaca (65.00) in cycle II increased to 74.00 (B). Keywords: Reading comprehension skills, GIST methods, research results

Abstract

Sheikh Muhammad Yasin al-Fadani was a great Indonesian hadith scholar in the late 20th century. A scholar of Padang, West Sumatra who was born in Makkah and is famous in various parts of the world. The scholars recognized his knowledge by dubbing him as Musnid al-Dunya. He mastered various fields of Islamic science, especially regarding the science of hadith which focused on the sanad and matan of hadith. This research discusses the book of Al-'Ujalah fi Al-Ahadith Al-Musalsalah, one of the unique and rare written works, which is used as a source of reference for science, but there has been no research that focuses on this book to find out the method and content of the book's discussion. This research uses a combined method of character study and literature study, which aims to analyze the methodology he used both in the form of systematics and characteristics of writing the book "Al-'Ujalah fi Al-Ahadith Al-Musalsalah" as well as introducing his role and contribution during the study. The results of this study show that the book "Ujalah fi Al-Ahadith Al-Musalsalah" contains musalsal traditions with the most famous sanad network known by hadith scholars that are complete both in terms of sanad and matan, connected from one teacher to another, in the tradition of previous hadith scholars, up to the Prophet Muhammad. He then provides explanations and assessments of the musalsal traditions listed by several scholars as well as the authenticity of the traditions.

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of Televisi Edukasi, a Television program and channel developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture to provide learning support. Televisi Edukasi has been active for a long time in Indonesia that can reach remote and outer areas with the help of satellite transmitters. Has content for educational and teaching activities as well as information about the policies of the Ministry of Education and Culture. Televisi Edukasi content can be used as content or learning material in the classroom, for the deepening of learning material either done in class with the subject teacher, studying at home under the guidance of the teacher or independent student learning. The government utilizes Televisi Edukasi to support learning that took place during the Covid Pandemic 19 period. With the help of Relay from TVRI, students can watch learning shows that have been made by Televisi Edukasi. However, efforts need to be made to increase the utilization of Televisi Edukasi programs both during the Pandemic and post-pandemic periods, as in fact there are still many limitations that occur so that education has not been optimally utilized in Indonesia both in structured learning activities and also in student independent learning activities.

Abstract

The inheritance system in Minangkabau, known for its matrilineal lineage, offers a unique perspective on property distribution, especially when contrasted with the patrilineal structure of Islamic inheritance law. This research delves into the historical and cultural evolution of the Minangkabau inheritance system, examining how it has adapted over time due to various social, legal, and religious influences. While Minangkabau customary law (adat) traditionally prioritizes female heirs, particularly through maternal lines, Islamic inheritance law advocates a more balanced approach, emphasizing the rights of both male and female heirs based on predetermined shares. The contrast between these two systems raises important questions about gender justice and the equitable distribution of wealth. Through a detailed exploration of Minangkabau customs and Islamic jurisprudence, this study investigates how these systems have coexisted and the efforts made by scholars and legal authorities to reconcile the differences. A significant focus is placed on the role of reformist thinkers within the Minangkabau community, who have sought to align local practices with the broader principles of Islamic inheritance law while preserving cultural identity. The research also examines the practical implications of these reform efforts, particularly in light of the evolving role of women in Minangkabau society and the growing calls for gender equality. The findings offer valuable insights into the potential for developing an inheritance model that respects both cultural traditions and Islamic values of justice, ultimately contributing to a broader discourse on gender equity in inheritance laws across diverse Muslim societies.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Al Washliyah Medan. Melalui hasil yang diberikan diperoleh siswa dengan kelompok tingkat tinggi dengan persentase 23%, siswa mampu menyatakan ulang masalah, menerapkan hubungan antara yang diketahui dengan pertanyaaan, merencanakan dan melakukan pemecahan masalah, pengecekan kembali jawaban dan mengkaitkan konsep matematika untuk mengambil kesimpulan, siswa kelompok tingkat sedang dengan persentase 50% mampu menuliskan dan menyebutkan apa yang ditanyakan di soal dan siswa kelompok tingkat rendah dengan persentase 27% mampu mengungkapkan dan menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan ditanya dengan jelas. Hasil wawancara mengungkapkan bahwa siswa kelas X-1 memiliki pemahaman konsep matematis pada tingkat sedang. ABSTRACT The research method used is qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class X of Al Washliyah Medan Private Madrasah Aliyah. Through the results obtained, students with a high-level group with a percentage of 23%, students were able to restate the problem, apply the relationship between what is known and the question, plan and carry out problem solving, recheck the answers and link mathematical concepts to draw conclusions, students in the medium-level group with a percentage of 50% were able to write and state what was asked in the question and students in the low-level group with a percentage of 27% were able to express and write what was known and asked clearly. The interview results revealed that students in class X-1 had a moderate level of mathematical concept understanding.

Abstract

AbstractThe research is aimed to describe the improvement of the students’ learning outcomes  in thematic integrated to theme 3 by using Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual model at 5 thgrade of Elementary School. The research is The classroom action research and conducted in the research by using both qualitative and quantitative approaches. By using three cycles to the covering four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject of the research were the teacher and 28 students of SDN 13 Lubuk Alung, 14 male students and 14 female students. The result of research shows that Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual model has improved the students’ learning outcome in thematic integrated learning in elementary school.          Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Somatic Audiotory Visual Intellectual
