Abstract

A bullet launcher is a defense tool intended to shoot targets, powered by gunpowder that can endanger its users. The use of gunpowder is dangerous because the resulting explosive power can harm the user. An alternative solution that can be done for this problem is to design a bullet launcher system that does not endanger its users. the system that has been implemented is a pneumatically powered bullet launcher. The pneumatic system is controlled using a microcontroller to control the input of sensors, solenoids, actuators and air pressure in the system. The pressure sensor used is a WPT-83G-EGG4 transmitter with a maximum pressure of 12 bar or 174 psi. The test results obtained with the average pressure measurement error is ±1% tolerance at pressures below 33 psi. The average response time of the sensor detecting pressure is 0.2 seconds.

Abstract

Fish farming is a type of fishing that involves cultivating various fish on land. Fish farming success can be influenced by site characteristics, water quality, fish suitability, and care. Crystal guava processing is a production utilization innovation. This has the potential to raise the value of crystal guava commodities, which can be consumed directly but are also processed into various derivative products. The community groups will be divided into two foster groups: the MSME group that makes crystal guava jam and the foster group that grows fish in irrigation ponds. This empowerment approach involves the creation of supporting infrastructure such as ponds in irrigation canals and the production of crystal guava jam. Then, using the t-test on the dependent mean and Principal Component Analysis, integrated training was carried out, including socializing and field practice, to quantify statistical development in abilities. As a result, the target community's understanding has increased. The target group (community) can increase their abilities in fish cultivation, the production of novel products (commodity derivatives), and marketing across various phases with the creation of supporting infrastructure.

Abstract

Free-living N2-fixing bacteria are essential in the soil because they provide a source of nitrogen in the form of ammonium needed by plants to be used in building protein blocks. The fixation of free N2 needs to be increased by adding nanomaterials such as magnetite (Fe3O4), which has an active group and can be a source of nitrogenase enzyme cofactor. In this study, increased N2 fixation used N2-fixing bacteria in Burks medium. This increase was determined by measuring NH3 levels using the Phenate method formed after Burks medium was treated with Fe3O4 and chitosan-magnetite (CS-Fe3O4). The study found that the number of bacteria can be well decreased. This research showed that using Fe3O4 and CS-Fe3O4 increased NH3-N levels in cultures of free-living nitrogen-fixing bacteria by 15.40% and 75.54%. For future development, it can be in the form of optimization, the effect of adding the same material to plant secondary metabolites, and the mechanism of bacteria in using the material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the collaboration among students during the group work stage in the STAD(Student achievement Divison) cooperative learning model. The research method used descriptive qualitative. The research subjects are four students grouped based on their initial abilities. One student with high initial ability (Mt), two students with moderate initial ability (Ms), and one student with low initial ability (Mr). The research instruments used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles & Huberman (1994) model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings reveal that Mt indirectly took over the discussion leadership without needing approval from other members, assumed more responsibility and a larger portion of tasks compared to other members, demonstrated dominance in presenting ideas, effectively communicated with group members, and explains ideas to other group members. On the other hand, Ms showed willingness to participate, effectively presented ideas but required approval, especially from Mt, and is more democratic and flexible in completing tasks. Meanwhile, Mr displayed reluctance to participate, passivity, hesitation in presenting ideas, and a willingness to accept other members' ideas without critiquing them beforehand.
