Background: Increased lipase activity can increase the amount of monoglycerides and fatty acids absorbed by the body, this is what affects obesity. If pancreatic lipase activity is inhibited, the production of fatty acids will decrease, consequently the level of fat in the blood will also decrease.Objective: To study anti obesity potential of a single herb or a mixture of green tea and other herbs (Syzygium polyanthum. Lv, Artocarpus communis.Lv, Cinnamomum verum..Lv, Manilkara zapota.Lv, Tectona grandis.Lv) by the in vitro inhibition assay of the lipase enzyme activityMethod: A single (8 herbs) or a mixture of three herbs powder (12 formulas) was put into a tea bag with a total weight of 1.5 g to be brewed in 100 mL bottled mineral water at 70â°-90â°C for 10 minutes. In vitro lipase enzyme inhibition assay were conducted to measure the ability of these samples as lipase inhibitor. Orlistat used as positive lipase inhibitor. Results: There was a difference results of lipase inhibition activity between the sample of a single and a mixture of herbs. Interestingly, the results shows that formula 3 (mixture of green tea, Manilkara zapota and cinnamon). has 53.942 % inhibition, formula 9 (a mixture of green tea, Syzygium polyanthum and cinnamon) has 67.322 % inhibition and formula 12 (a mixture of green tea, Tectona grandis and cinnamon) has 56.612 % inhibition which close to lipase inhibitory activity by standard Orlistat.Conclusion: The mixture of green tea and two other herbs has a lipase inhibitory activity similar to Orlistat, when compared to the single herb. The highest lipase inhibitory activity is found in formula 9.

The purpose of this study was to find out the difference in effectiveness between CWT and cold compresses against phlebitis degrees in patients who were infused in hospitals. Dustira Cimahi. Experimental quasi-research method with two groups pretest and posttest design approach, with a sample number of 44 patients using purposive sampling, intervention group using CWT and control group using cold compress. The results showed a difference in phlebitis degree score before and after cold compresses (pretest 2.32 and posttest 1.68) which showed a decrease in phlebitis degree score. In the group that used CWT, there was a difference in phlebitis degree score (pretest 2.41 and posttest 1.32), with p= 0.000, this showed a decrease in phlebitis degree score and the significance of the difference in average phlebitis degree score before and after intervention. The mean value of the intervention and control group is negative with the difference in phlebitis degrees between the intervention group and the control group (p=0.026). A decrease in the degree of flebititis in the CWT group occurred in the third treatment, while in the cold compress group occurred in the fifth treatment. The results of both interventions were effective in lowering phlebitis, but CWT was more effective when compared to cold compresses. It is recommended that nurses can be used as one of the evidance-based nursing that serves as the rational basis for the implementation of Contrast Water Therapy as an independent nursing intervention to reduce the degree of phlebitis quickly without causing additional accumulation of edema. Based on the results of research and discussion, the conclusions in this study are both interventions both CWT and cold compresses are equally effective in lowering the degree of phlebitis, but CWT interventions are more effective and faster to lower the degree of phlebitis in patients who are infused when compared to cold compresses.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the non communicable diseases (NCDs) with the largest number of deaths in the world. The Macaranga hispida (Blume) Mull. Arg is a source of phenolic compounds. Phenolic is grouped as polyphenols group that widely functioned as antidiabetic. The α-glucosidase enzyme plays a role in the forming of glycoproteins and glycolipids. The α-glucosidase enzyme can be used for antidiabetic activity assay because of its capability on breaking down carbohydrate into glucose in the human small intestine. This study aimed to determine phenolic content, total flavonoid content, and antidiabetic activity of M. hispida leaves extract and its fraction. The extract and fraction were tested for the phenolic levels using Folin-Ciocalteau method, the total flavonoid using alumunium chloride method, and the antidiabetic activity using α-glukosidase method. The yield of methanolic extract of the Macaranga hispida was 10.23%. Phenolic content of the ethyl acetate fraction from the methanolic extract was 8.411 mg, equivalent to gallic acid/100 mg extract. Total flavonoid content was 6.14 ± 0.31b/b μg/mL. Antidiabetic activity assay of the extract and the fractions of Macaranga hispida resulted the highest antidiabetic activity (IC50) was in the ethyl acetate fraction with IC50 value 21.91 μg / mL.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the relationship between teachers' perceptions of online learning and work motivation on the performance of junior high school mathematics teachers. 2. Design/methodology/approach: A quantitative approach was employed using simple and multiple linear regression. The sample included 113 mathematics teachers in Kuningan Regency, selected via cluster random sampling from a population of 127. 3. Findings: The results demonstrate a significant positive correlation between perception, work motivation, and teacher performance. The data met normality and homogeneity requirements, suggesting that constructive perceptions and robust motivation effectively mitigate technical constraints in digital environments. 4. Practical implications: These findings provide a basis for policymakers to prioritize psychological aspects and work motivation to sustain high-quality mathematics instruction. 5. Originality/value: This study offers a unique contribution by integrating technological perception and internal motivation as primary determinants of mathematics teacher performance within the post-pandemic online learning framework. Purpose: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan antara persepsi guru terhadap pembelajaran daring dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru matematika di tingkat SMP. Design/methodology/approach: Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik regresi linear sederhana dan berganda. Sampel terdiri dari 113 guru matematika di Kabupaten Kuningan yang dipilih melalui cluster random sampling dari total populasi 127 guru. 3. Findings: Hasil uji menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan antara persepsi dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi yang konstruktif dan motivasi yang kuat efektif mengatasi keterbatasan teknis dalam lingkungan daring. Practical implications: Temuan ini memberikan dasar bagi pengambil kebijakan untuk fokus pada penguatan aspek psikologis dan motivasi kerja guna menjaga kualitas pembelajaran matematika yang berkelanjutan. Originality/value: Studi ini memberikan kontribusi unik dengan mengintegrasikan persepsi teknologi dan motivasi internal sebagai determinan utama kinerja guru matematika dalam konteks pembelajaran daring pasca-pandemi.

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP, seringkali disebabkan oleh metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital yang terintegrasi terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen, studi ini melibatkan 68 siswa yang terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dengan data hasil belajar diukur melalui post-test. Hasil analitik statistik menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari penggunaan media digital, namun dengan ukuran efek yang tergolong rendah, terutama pada materi abstrak seperti relasi dan fungsi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa efektifitas media digital dapat bervariasi tergantung karakteristik materi ajar. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menyoroti adanya batasan efektivitas media digital pada materi matematika abstrak tertentu, serta merekomendasikan pengembangan strategi implementasi yang lebih selektif dan inovatif. The low mathematics learning outcomes of junior high school students are often caused by conventional learning methods that are lacking in the digital era. This study aims to examine the effect of using integrated digital-based interactive learning media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, this study involved 68 students divided into experimental and control groups with learning outcome data measured through a post-test. The results of statistical analysis showed a positive and significant effect of the use of digital media, but with a relatively low effect size, especially on abstract materials such as relations and functions. This finding indicates that the effectiveness of digital media can vary depending on the characteristics of the teaching materials. This study contributes to highlighting the limitations of the effectiveness of digital media on certain abstract mathematics materials, and recommends the development of more selective and innovative implementation strategies.

Purpose: This study evaluates the effectiveness of integrating guided discovery methods with mathematical manipulatives to enhance learning outcomes in fraction topics, addressing cognitive barriers caused by the abstract nature of the material and student misconceptions. Design/methodology/approach: A quasi-experimental approach (Nonequivalent Control Group Design) was employed with 60 fifth-grade students in Kuningan Regency. Data were collected via pre-tests and post-tests to measure learning achievements between the experimental and control groups. Findings: Analysis reveals significant improvements in learning outcomes within the experimental group. This integration effectively mitigates early misconceptions through systematic guidance and concrete visualization, bridging the gap between mathematical abstraction and student comprehension. Practical implications: The findings encourage educators to adopt pedagogical innovations that combine guided strategies with physical media to foster dynamic, systematic, and student-centered learning environments in primary education. Originality/value: This study addresses a literature gap by examining the simultaneous integration of guided methods and manipulatives, which were previously studied in isolation within mathematics education contexts. Purpose: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas integrasi metode penemuan terbimbing dengan alat peraga matematika dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar materi pecahan, guna mengatasi hambatan kognitif akibat sifat materi yang abstrak dan risiko miskonsepsi pada siswa.Design/methodology/approach: Menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen (Nonequivalent Control Group Design) dengan sampel 60 siswa kelas V di Kabupaten Kuningan. Instrumen penelitian berupa pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur capaian belajar antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Findings: Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen. Integrasi ini secara efektif memitigasi kesalahan konsep dini melalui bimbingan sistematis dan visualisasi konkret yang menjembatani abstraksi matematis dengan pemahaman siswa. Practical implications: Temuan ini merekomendasikan pendidik untuk mengadopsi inovasi pedagogis yang memadukan strategi terbimbing dengan media konkret guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis, sistematis, dan berpusat pada siswa di tingkat sekolah dasar.Originality/value: Studi ini mengisi kesenjangan literatur mengenai penggabungan metode terbimbing dan alat peraga secara simultan yang sebelumnya sering dikaji secara terpisah dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika.

General Background: Elementary mathematics education plays a crucial role in developing students’ logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Specific Background: However, conventional teaching methods often fail to engage students, especially in topics like plane geometry, leading to low learning outcomes. Knowledge Gap: While previous studies have explored digital learning tools, limited research addresses the use of Quizizz in lower-grade primary contexts using offline barcode-based quizzes. Aims: This study aimed to examine the effect of Quizizz as an innovative learning medium on third-grade students’ mathematics achievement in the topic of plane shapes. Results: A quasi-experimental method was employed, involving 60 students divided into control and experimental groups. Results showed significant improvements in the experimental group, with t-test values (p < 0.05) and a regression analysis indicating Quizizz accounted for 20.5% of the variance in outcomes. Novelty: The integration of barcode-based Quizizz without the need for student-owned devices presents an accessible and inclusive approach in low-digital-access environments. Implications: These findings underscore the effectiveness of gamified digital tools like Quizizz in enhancing mathematical understanding and align with the Merdeka Belajar curriculum’s push for ICT integration in education.Highlight : The use of Quizizz significantly improves mathematics learning outcomes for third-grade students. The test items and questionnaires used were proven valid and reliable, ensuring accurate data collection. Amidst the development of digital technology, Sharia Financial Technology (Fintech) has emerged as an alternative solution that not only offers service efficiency but also ensures compliance with Islamic economic principles such as the prohibition of usury, distributive justice, and transaction ethics. This study aims to determine: (1) the concept of financial inclusion in conventional and Islamic economics; (2) the development and characteristics of Sharia Fintech in Indonesia; (3) Islamic economic principles such as maqashid al-shariah, distributive justice, and transaction ethics; and (4) policies and regulations that affect the Sharia Fintech ecosystem. The method used is a literature study with thematic analysis of academic literature and related regulations. The results show that Sharia Fintech has great potential in expanding fair and halal financial access, especially for groups of people who are not yet served by the conventional financial system. By integrating digital technology and Islamic values, Sharia Fintech is able to bridge the economic gap while strengthening Sharia financial literacy. However, challenges such as low public understanding of Sharia contracts and suboptimal specific regulations still need to be addressed. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of synergy between regulators, industry players, academics, and the community in building an inclusive, ethical, and sustainable Sharia Fintech ecosystem. This study also contributes theoretically to the development of a value-based financial inclusion model and provides a basis for formulating policies that are more responsive to the economic needs of the community.

Desa Salamjaya sebagian besar berladang sawah dan perkebunan, tim PKM menemukan pengrajin usaha aneka keripik yang dimana usaha ini belum memiliki label, NIB (Nomor Induk Berusaha), dan tampilan kemasan produknya masih sederhana atau polos. Selain itu, lokasi UMKM Aneka Keripik belum terdapat di Google Maps, sehingga tidak bisa mencakup banyak konsumen, karena bagi sebagian konsumen khusunya generasi milenial akan sedikit kesulitan, karena generasi ini lebih mudah meminta petunjuk kepada google salah satunya Google Maps. Selain itu juga, pemasaran UMKM Aneka Keripik ini masih sangat sederhana, yakni hanya menjual kepada Warung terdekat atau hanya mencakup Desa Salamjaya saja. Apalagi dihadapkan dengan pemasaran sistem islami yang makin tambah kebingungan, karena kajian tentang fiqih muamalah masih sangat jarang ditemukan. Tujuan PKM ini untuk melakukan pendampingan branding dan pemasaran islami UMKM Aneka Keripik Di Desa Salamjaya Pondoksalam Purwakarta. Metode PKM ini menggunakan sosialisasi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil PKM dapat disimpulkan bahwa UMKM Aneka Keripik Di Desa Salamjaya Pondoksalam Purwakarta sudah mengetahui pentingnya labelisasi produk, dan media periklanan berupa spanduk atau banner. Selain itu, plang nama yang tim PKM berikan terlihat memberikan dampak yang positif berupa masyarakat mulai banyak mengenal adanya produksi aneka keripik di Desa Salamjaya. Penambahan lokasi di Google Maps pun memberikan dampak positif berupa mempermudah pelanggan baru berkunjung ke lokasi UMKM Aneka Keripik. Kemudian NIB yang sudah dimiliki menjadi bukti bahwa UMKM Aneka Keripik di Desa Salamjaya bukan usaha yang abal-abal dan bukan usaha yang tidak bertanggung jawab.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah dalam industri perbankan di Indonesia. Dengan semakin berkembangnya industri perbankan syariah, penting untuk memahami bagaimana prinsip-prinsip seperti larangan riba, bagi hasil, keadilan, dan transparansi diimplementasikan secara nyata dalam operasional bank syariah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus pada beberapa bank syariah terkemuka, serta analisis dokumen dan wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi industri perbankan syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip ekonomi syariah tidak hanya mempengaruhi aspek produk dan layanan, tetapi juga menciptakan budaya keberlanjutan dan keadilan sosial dalam industri perbankan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan prinsip ekonomi syariah secara konsisten dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan masyarakat dan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi berbasis syariah yang berkeadilan. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dan penguatan regulasi untuk memastikan implementasi prinsip ekonomi syariah secara lebih efektif dan berkelanjutan.
