Abstract

Dalam masa pandemic covid-19 sekarang ini, sangat dibutuhkan adanya media pembelajaran jarak jauh yang efektif dan mudah dipelajari bagi para guru, terutama guru SMU/SMK. Inilah yang menjadikan pelatihan Moodle dan content web editing diperlukan guna mendukung sarana belajar. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini, ada beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan. Mulai dari pra-persiapan yang terdiri dari pembuatan brosur digital, link pendaftaran, modul Moodle dan e-learning, kuisioner evaluasi dan quiz berhadiah dengan aplikasi Kahoot, Tahap berikutnya adalah pelaksanaan, dimana kegiatan workshop berlangsung secara daring melalui Google Meet selama kurang lebih 3.5 jam dengan 3 sesi materi. Tahap akhir adalah evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Berdasarkan hasil kuisioner yang dibagikan di awal pendaftaran dan akhir sesi kegiatan, didapat bahwa sebanyak 206 peserta hadir dari 369 peserta yang telah mendaftar. Kemudian sebanyak 90.3% atau 186 peserta menilai sangat baik jalannya pelatihan ini dalam memberikan pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan e-learning dan akan bersedia mengikuti jika kegiatan workshop tersebut diadakan kembali di kemudian hari.

Abstract

This study aims to apply to moodle e-learning to Trisakti University students majoring in informatics engineering and information systems, knowing the feasibility of e-learning produced as a source of student learning, and revealing the effectiveness of e-learning towards the achievement of student learning outcomes. This study shows that e-learning was developed with Moodle through three stages, namely: first planning, design, and development, both e-learning are feasible to use for students, and the third is the application of e-learning to Trisakti University students majoring in informatics engineering and systems information effectively improves student cognitive learning outcomes. This is evidenced by a survey conducted by the author.

Abstract

During the implementation of database system, needs of getting fast, accurate and highavailabilitydata, has become major clauses for the implementation of “high-availability” system.Oracle 10g RAC is a clustered database solution that requires a two or more node hardwareconfiguration capable of working together under a clustered operating system. A clusteredhardware solution is managed by cluster management software, usually provided by the hardwarevendor. The operating system is also responsible for providing access to the shared disksubsystems. Parameters that used for the performance testing and analyzing of Oracle 10g RealApplication Cluster are the cpu idle, free memory, SGA, buffer cache, and shared pool. As result forthe performance testing and analyzing, it can be concluded that Oracle 10g Real ApplicationCluster was really good for the implementation of “high-availability system” concept. But it alldepends to the analysis for its system.

Abstract

Web Content Management Using Wordpress, Canva and Photoshop for Teachers of the Jakarta Region The web is a tool that has been widely used to share information with the public. However, in managing the content, not a few parties who do not know how to do it well, including high school and vocational school teachers. Therefore, WordPress-based web content management training is applied to the teachers to assist them in running and managing the web. The training began with the provision of material on designing logos and banners using Photoshop and Canva, then practice how to register domains and training in making e-commerce with WordPress Content Management System. From the results of the training evaluation questionnaire, as many as 69% of participants were satisfied in delivering the material and 100% stated that web management training was needed to be learned and applied in schools.

Abstract

Internet and social media usage in daily activities is continuously increasing. UKM gets the benefit of information technology to increase its sale through scale up the marketing target in order to increase its revenue. However, most of UKM are worry about the risk in using information technology in their daily activities, such as cyber fraud and stealing their private data and their identities. To overcome these problems, it needs to design training materials that can reduce theirs worry in using information technology. Designed training material based on problem faced by training participants can satisfy and give a benefit to participants even though the instructor delivery and response is not good.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of technology has an impact on changes in learning models, especially in the transition period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The increasing use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in schools shows the need for managing educational content to support online and hybrid teaching systems. This is what will then be implemented at one high school in Jakarta in the form of assistance for teachers in managing web content via the Moodle application. This activity was held at Said Naum Islamic High School on April 10 2023, with a session consisting of Introduction to Moodle Concepts, Practical Preparation, 2 (two) Case Studies. Based on the implementation and evaluation of this activity, quite good feedback was obtained from the participants where 70% of the participants assessed that the material presented was able to provide knowledge and skills regarding the Moodle LMS, and 60% of the participants also stated that they would apply the results of the training to build learning content independently.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country led by a president. The term of office of a president will be democratically elected every five years. The current president will end his term of office in 2024. So that in that year, the people will hold direct general elections to determine the president between 2024 and 2029. Before the general elections are held in Indonesia itself, it is closely related to the campaigns of each presidential candidate carried out by their supporters. Campaigns are usually carried out directly to village locations and social media Twitter/Facebook/YouTube. This study aims to analyze the sentiment of comments on the YouTube platform for three Indonesian presidential candidates, Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, and Prabowo Subianto in the context of the 2024 PresidentialElection.. Indonesia is a nation led by a president, with the presidential term lasting five years, determined through democratic elections. The incumbent president's tenure will conclude in 2024. Consequently, during that year, citizens will participate in a direct general election to select the president for the 2024- 2029 period. Prior to the domestic general elections, there is a strong link to the campaigning efforts of each presidential contender, which are conducted by their respective supporters. Campaign activities typically extend to rural areas and popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. This research aims to assess the sentiment of comments on the YouTube platform regarding three potential Indonesian presidential candidates: Anies Baswedan, Ganjar Pranowo, and Prabowo Subianto. This analysis takes place in the context of the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election.

Abstract

Waste is one of the major problems in Indonesia that still has to be resolved, because it has many negative impacts on the environment and health. Waste can be divided into two types: organic and inorganic waste. The increase in waste and the limited capacity of the Integrated Waste Disposal Sites (TPST) will cause waste to accumulate. Therefore, organic waste will have a negative impact on the environment if not managed properly, one of the efforts to reduce its impact is to process organic waste into fertilizer and animal food with new innovations in Internet of Thing (IOT) technology that can be used as an improvement in the agricultural sector. The manufacture of waste processing machines into fertilizer and animal food uses PT100 sensors as temperature control sensors from waste, PLC as data processing integration, HMI cloud and HMI haiwell are used as hardware that displays visual temperature data. This research shows that the use of PT100 sensors in waste processing machines has a significant effect on machine performance. In the process of making fertilizer, the PT100 sensor can regulate the temperature accurately, for example, when the temperature is set at 80℃ and exceeds the limit, the heater will turn off and the temperature decreases to 60℃. IoT technology allows real-time monitoring and control of temperature through mobile phones and HMIs, as well as providing Telegram notifications for high or low temperature warnings.

Abstract

Python adalah bahasa pemrograman yang populer dan sering digunakan oleh perusahaan besar serta para pengembang untuk menciptakan berbagai jenis aplikasi, baik itu berbasis desktop, web, maupun mobile. Selain diminati oleh perusahaan besar dan para developer, Python juga menjadi pilihan utama di kalangan mahasiswa dan institusi pendidikan, khususnya di perguruan tinggi yang berfokus pada teknologi informasi. Belajar pemrograman tidak selalu mudah, namun juga tidak terlalu sulit; tingkat kesulitan bergantung pada cara belajar serta kecepatan memahami konsepnya. Untuk mempermudah proses belajar, langkah awal yang disarankan adalah memahami dasar-dasar pemrograman yang meliputi tiga struktur utama: sequence, branching, dan looping. Tulisan ini menyediakan panduan untuk mempelajari dasar-dasar pemrograman Python menggunakan VSCode, mencakup langkah-langkah instalasi Python, instalasi VSCode pada sistem operasi Windows, hingga penerapan pemrograman Python berdasarkan algoritma. Pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup studi pustaka dan eksperimen. Studi pustaka bertujuan memahami konsep dasar pemrograman, termasuk algoritma runtutan, percabangan, dan perulangan. Sementara itu, eksperimen dilakukan untuk menguji penerapan algoritma tersebut dalam pemrograman Python melalui VSCode.
