Abstract

School principals have a significant role to meet the needs of teachers as desired with the aim of increasing the performance carried out by the teacher. This type of research is a literature review (literature review), with stages namely collecting relevant research literature, marking several important terms in the research, conducting an in-depth analysis of the literature that has been obtained by compiling discussions, drawing conclusions based on the results of the analysis. The conclusion of this study is the ability of the principal to motivate subordinates, in this case the teacher as an educator is very influential on his performance, the higher the motivational ability possessed by the principal, the higher the performance carried out by the teacher. The principal carries out his duties as a motivator by carrying out several strategies, namely: 1) the principal maintains and maintains the physical environment of the school. 2) Arrange a comfortable working atmosphere. 3) To maintain the work motivation of teachers, the principal maintains teacher discipline. 4) Appreciation must be given to everyone who has completed a job as well as teachers as an educator. 5) Providing learning resources is the obligation of the principal to support the teaching and learning process in the school and provide learning resources including motivational activities carried out by the principal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality and quantity of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in Indonesia. Teacher quality is measured through academic qualifications and pedagogical competence, while quantity is measured based on the ratio of teachers to children and the distribution of teachers between regions. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis by utilizing secondary data from the Ministry of Education and Culture and other relevant sources. The quantity of early childhood education institutions in Indonesia is growing rapidly. This increase occurs along with the large number of early childhood (AUD) that must be served. The quantity is directly proportional to the need for quality teachers. The demand for quality educators is increasingly clear by returning early childhood development as a golden age so that a good foundation from quality teachers has an impact on the excellence of the Indonesian nation's generation. For this reason, PAUD educators are needed who understand the opportunities for maximizing this from an early age. There needs to be an effort to improve the quality of education services for early childhood by improving the quality of early childhood educators.The results of the study are expected to provide a comprehensive picture of the current condition of the quality and quantity of PAUD teachers in Indonesia, identify existing gaps, and provide policy implications for improving the quality and fulfillment of PAUD teacher needs in order to realize quality and equitable PAUD throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

This study discusses innovative teaching strategies that have proven effective in enhancing students' interest and academic achievement. One of the effective approaches is Project-Based Learning (PjBL), which increases students' active participation, encourages collaboration, and deepens their understanding of the material. In addition, the performance of teachers as facilitators, motivators, and guides plays a crucial role in creating a supportive learning environment. Key components of teacher performance include using innovative methods, providing constructive feedback, and effective classroom management. The use of technology in teaching has also been shown to enhance students' learning interest by creating a more interactive and engaging learning experience. A comprehensive approach involving professional teachers, appropriate teaching strategies, and the utilization of technology can significantly improve students' interest and academic achievement.

Abstract

The leadership role of school principals as innovators has a crucial role in creating an innovative environment to increase teachers' work motivation. This type of research is a literature review (literature review), with stages namely collecting relevant research literature, marking several important terms in the research, conducting an in-depth analysis of the literature that has been obtained by compiling discussions, drawing conclusions based on the results of the analysis. The conclusion of this study is that school principals as innovators have an important role in creating a dynamic and progressive educational environment. To carry out this role, the principal needs to have a strategy that involves harmonizing with the environment, finding new ideas, integrating activities, setting an example, and developing innovative learning models. In addition, the principal must be able to find, find, and implement updates in the school, as well as optimize the available resources. This is closely related to teacher motivation because motivation has a considerable influence on a person's performance. If they have an interest in a job, a person will complete the work according to the demands of their institution.

Abstract

The development of teachers' pedagogic competencies through the integration of digital media is an important step in improving teachers' competence in optimizing the learning process. This type of research is a literature review (literature review), with stages namely collecting relevant research literature, marking several important terms in the research, conducting an in-depth analysis of the literature that has been obtained by compiling discussions, drawing conclusions based on the results of the analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the use of technology and digital media allows teachers to access various learning resources that are more varied, interactive, and easily adapted to the needs of students. With the use of digital platforms, teachers can improve pedagogical skills, enrich teaching materials, and strengthen their ability to manage the classroom effectively. In addition, digital learning media supports collaboration, communication, and student involvement to the fullest. School principals play a leadership role in the application of technology, utilizing technology as the main tool to transform the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Discipline is obeying the applicable regulations in one's environment, both formally and informally. Or carry out good attitudes in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Carrying out a disciplined life needs to be trained and accustomed to in everyday life, because with this discipline all students at school will be truly trained and can feel a useful and serious life. They will gain trust from their peers, from teachers, from parents and the surrounding community. Because of their high sense of discipline and responsibility. The word discipline is something that is easy to say but difficult to do. The application of discipline both in Educational Units and in the community environment in everyday life must be optimized so that students/communities in carrying out learning well, are able to compete in the field healthily both at the District, Regency and Provincial levels and even to the national level. Therefore, in the development of discipline education, it is very necessary to have a strategy to improve student discipline in schools that is good and planned. This study is How is the strategy in improving student discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Kesugihan, Cilacap Regency. while the purpose of this study is to describe the strategy to improve student discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Kesugihan, Cilacap Regency. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The data sources in this study were obtained by researchers from key informants, namely people who can provide information to researchers, data collection techniques consisting of; Interviews, Observations, and Documentation. The findings of the research are the strategies used by SMP Negeri 1 Kesugihan, Cilacap Regency in improving student discipline, namely: a) Preparation of vision, mission, motto, and objectives, b) Preparation of special activity programs c) Rules of procedure, d) Socialization, e) Approach, f) Facilities and infrastructure, and g) Evaluation.

Abstract

The development of professional competence is carried out with the ultimate goal of education, building and strengthening the commitment, consistency and dedication of teachers to the development of the quality of education, one of which is marked by student learning outcomes. This type of research is a literature study (literature review), with stages, namely collecting relevant research literature, marking several important terms in the research, conducting an in-depth analysis of the literature that has been obtained by compiling a discussion, compiling conclusions based on the results of the analysis. The conclusion of this study is that the development of teacher professional competence through the use of ICT can improve learning outcomes in students. The essential aspects in the development of teacher professional competence through the use of ICT are facilities and infrastructure, teacher digital skills, teacher motivation and leadership, student involvement in learning. The role of the principal in the development of teacher professional competence through the use of ICT and the availability of facilities and infrastructure in schools.

Abstract

The development of teachers' professional competencies is the basic capital in the learning process of students to meet the learning needs of different students in a class. This type of research is a literature review (literature review), with stages namely collecting relevant research literature, marking several important terms in the research, conducting an in-depth analysis of the literature that has been obtained by compiling discussions, drawing conclusions based on the results of the analysis. The conclusion of this study is differentiated learning, especially in elementary school education units in developing learning that can meet the learning needs of students without exception. The essential aspects of the development process consist of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role of the principal in the development of teachers' professional competencies through differentiated learning is by implementing programs that encourage the implementation of independent learning in schools, supporting educators to be open so that they enjoy learning, encouraging students' readiness in learning, thinking critically, and actively involving related parties to play a role in supervising students' learning achievement and encouraging cooperation between related parties to improve the qualifications of educators in the context of implementing the development of differentiated learning.
