Abstract: This study aim to investigate the effect of principal leadership and teacher readiness to change on teacher performance. This study used a quantitative method and employed an online survey using a questionnaire and involved a sample of 105 high school teachers in West Java province. We employed correlation and multiple regression techniques using SPSS for windows program with the classical assumption and hypothesis testing. The result of the study showed 1) there is the positive influence between principal leadership on the teacher performance; 2) there is prositive influence between readiness of change on teacher performance; 3) there is significant influence jointly between principal leadership and readiness of change on teacher performance.Keywords: Principal Leadership, Teacher Readiness for Change, Teacher Performance Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kesiapan guru untuk berubah terhadap kinerja guru. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan metode survei online dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 105 guru Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di provinsi Jawa Barat. Analisis data menggunakan korelasi dan regresi berganda dengan bantuan program SPSS, melalui tahapan uji asumsi klasik dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) terdapat pengaruh positif antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) terdapat pengaruh positif antara kesiapan berubah terhadap kinerja guru; 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kesiapan perubahan terhadap kinerja guru. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan pada implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Sumberjaya Majalengka. Metode PALS digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, yakni: identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, rancangan lokakarya, pelaksanaan lokakarya, monitoring dan observasi, dan laporan serta tindak lanjut keberhasilan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan lokakarya yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa guru di SMPN 4 Sumberjaya memahami kurikulum merdeka dan mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam sebuah rancangan pembelajaran dengan berbagai media dan modul ajar sesuai dengan panduan pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka.Kata kunci: implementasi kurikulum, kurikulum merdeka, tenaga pendidik

The era of revolution 5.0 is a concept of society based on technology. Various challenges arise in the era of revolution 5.0 which requires each individual to have special skills and abilities, including the ability to think critically, creatively and innovatively and have good character as a control in utilizing technology. This service aims to provide strengthening of character education to every individual, especially students who are part of society so that they can have good ethics as a characteristic of Indonesian national identity. The service was carried out in the form of a scientific oration involving 55 participants who were students representing the Student Executive Board for the West Java Region. The results of the service show that critical culture as student character education is very important as a provision to face various challenges of the 5.0 revolution era. Critical culture becomes one of the traits in student character development to prevent the destruction of young morals from being degraded by bad choices

This study aims to describe the educational values ??contained in the Slangit style mask puppet performance. From the data obtained, this study describes the dance movements, characters/characterization, stories, and character education values ??reflected in the performance. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe the Slangit style mask puppet art. (2) to describe the character education values ??contained in the performance, and. (3) to describe the character education values ??in the Slangit style mask puppet as a source of implementation in literature learning. The results obtained by the researcher are in the form of a description of the Slangit mask puppet art, the results of a study of the educational values ??contained in the dance movements and the story of Tumenggung vs. Jinggananom, and the use of stories in literature learning.

This study aims to identify violations of the principles of politeness in the film "Hangout" by Raditya Dika. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and a pragmatic analysis method based on Grice's cooperative principle theory. The main focus of this study is to explore the forms of violations of the cooperative principle in the film's dialogues, by examining several violated maxims. Referential matching and Dell Hymess' SPEAKING approach are used in data analysis, which are collected through observation and analysis of film documents using the Free Listening and Speaking (SBLC) technique. According to the findings of the analysis, there are 46 violations of the cooperative principle covering several maxims such as quantity, quality, relevance and implementation. The film "Hangout" has several examples of significant violations of the cooperative principle, which highlights the need to understand and apply these rules in everyday interactions to avoid miscommunication.

This article aims to discuss the concepts of merit (reward) and sin in Islamic teachings and their implications for the work ethic of teachers at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Faruq Majalengka. In Islam, merit and sin are integral components of the ethical doctrine that influence individual behavior. A sound understanding of these concepts plays a vital role in shaping work motivation. Actions considered virtuous according to Islamic teachings are rewarded (merit), while violations of religious principles result in sin. Using data collection methods such as surveys, observation, interviews, and questionnaires, this study found a significant relationship between teachers’ understanding of the concepts of merit and sin and their level of work ethic. The greater the understanding of these concepts, the better the work ethic demonstrated in daily activities. This suggests that theological understanding can serve as an internal motivator in enhancing work quality, discipline, and professional responsibility among teachers. The main contribution of this article is to show that theological aspects, particularly the understanding of merit and sin can be important variables in shaping work ethic. This study offers a new perspective that improving teachers’ work ethic can be pursued not only through technical training but also by strengthening internal spiritual and religious values.

The level of difficulty students experience in learning mathematics can help teachers design learning activities that are appropriate for students' abilities and foster an independent learning environment. Google Forms and jMetric can be used as alternative software to construct adaptive assessments that accurately detect students' level of difficulty in learning mathematics and are easy to apply. The results of calibrating the content of the instrument with jMetric show that the overall instrument is in the “fairly good” category with a stratum of 2.81. Meanwhile, the development of adaptive assessments based on Google Forms is deemed valid in terms of website appeal and ease of use, with an average of 64.5%.

This study aims to explore the impact of digital transformation in human resource management (HRM) on the effectiveness of principals at private Vocational High Schools (SMKs) in Majalengka Regency. The method used is a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 35 principals. The results indicate that the implementation of information and communication technology (ICT) in HRM has improved the effectiveness of principals, with an average effectiveness score of 4.2 on a scale of 1 to 5. However, challenges such as a lack of training and adequate infrastructure remain obstacles in the technology implementation. This study concludes that although digital transformation offers opportunities to enhance HRM, further efforts in training and infrastructure investment are necessary to optimize its benefits. Recommendations are provided to improve staff training and the development of technological infrastructure in private SMKs in Majalengka Regency.

The activity is a seminar for the detection of the characteristics, potential, and talents of children that is part of the strengthening of the school-family partnership. This is a part of an effort to raise awareness among parents of the importance of understanding the child especially in the characteristic, potential and talent that can be a reference in decision-making of the educational processes carried out both in the family and in the school. The implementation of this training is going well even though some audiences need to follow up in understanding and applying the concepts presented by the examiner. As a result of this activity, the seminar participants consisting of the parents of elementary school students in Randegan Wetan Village and some representatives of local primary school teachers were able to emulate the basic theory of detection of characteristics, potential, and children's talents
