Abstract

Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education are integral parts of the educational system in Indonesia. These subjects are essential for imparting knowledge, shaping attitudes, personality, and skills of students in practicing Islamic teachings, and are taught at all educational levels. This study addresses the following research questions: (1) How is Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education taught in the 11th grade of the Accounting and Finance (AKL) program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? (2) What is the moral character of students in the Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education classes in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? (3) What is the impact of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education on the moral character development of students in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut? Based on these questions, the objectives of this research are: (1) To understand how Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education are conducted in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. (2) To analyze the moral character of students in the Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education classes in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. (3) To determine the impact of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education on the moral character development of students in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. This research employs an inferential quantitative method, collecting data or information about the phenomena being studied. Data collection techniques include questionnaires distributed to 25 respondents, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis is conducted using statistical data analysis methods. The findings of this research conclude that there is a significant impact of Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education on the moral character development of students in the 11th grade of the AKL program at SMK Ciledug Al-Musaddadiyah Garut. Abstract

In Islam, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the foremost exemplar in religious life, renowned for his high tolerance towards those with differing and opposing beliefs. This study is motivated by the lack of awareness regarding intolerant behavior towards differing beliefs, which leads to discrimination and radicalism in Indonesia. Consequently, the research aims to offer an understanding of Islamic Education Science as outlined in Surah Al-Mumtahanah verses 7-9 concerning tolerance. The objectives of this study are to describe: (1) the educational values of Surah Al-Mumtahanah verses 7-9 related to tolerance, and (2) the educational values within these verses from the perspective of Islamic Education Science. The research employs a descriptive analysis methodology, specifically through a library research approach. The technique utilized is content analysis, drawing on primary sources such as the Quran and secondary sources including books, journals, and tafsir (Islamic exegesis). The findings of this study reveal two key educational values about tolerance in Surah Al-Mumtahanah: the importance of compassion between Muslims and non-Muslims, and the necessity of acting justly and benevolently towards both Muslim and non-Muslim communities. Abstract

In the era of Disruption 5.0, where convenience is abundant, society faces a dichotomy of positive and negative values emerging within the community. The positive impacts of this disruptive era include changes in values and attitudes, the advancement of science and technology, and improved living standards. Conversely, the negative repercussions are evident in the decline of national moral quality, as seen in the increasing number of cases that deviate from societal norms and values. Paulo Freire, a prominent figure in educational philosophy, advocated for a critical alternative education model, which has been praised for addressing issues within formal education systems. On the other hand, Islamic education is inherently rich with transcendental, divine, and humanistic values. These can be encompassed within the broader framework known as theocentric humanism or religious humanism, an effort to integrate religious and divine values. A concept or educational theory lacks significant social impact unless oriented towards action. To emphasize the need for action, these theocentric humanistic values are proposed as an ideological paradigm for Islamic education. The objective of this study is to describe Paulo Freire's concept of humanistic education from the perspective of Islamic education. The research method employed is library research, which involves utilizing library resources to obtain the necessary data through a sequence of activities related to literature review, reading, note-taking, and processing the required research materials. The results of this study indicate both similarities and differences between Paulo Freire's concept of humanistic education and Islamic education. The similarities lie in their focus on developing students' potential according to their interests and talents. The key difference is that Freire's Humanistic Education emphasizes the psychological aspects of students, whereas Islamic Education emphasizes a balance between the affective and cognitive domains of students. Abstract

The diversity of society necessitates the establishment of conditions where its elements act tolerantly, respect, and value each other's differences with an equal stance. Failing to do so may lead to frictions, conflicts, and social disintegration. Currently, the collective mindset regarding multicultural national values is often dominated by a logos-centric and hegemonic perspective, rife with prejudice, suspicion, hatred, and reductionism towards those outside their own group. Consequently, social bonds through collectivity and cooperation are confined within the group itself, excluding others. This research aims to address the following primary issues: (1) To identify the multicultural values within the Qur'an, and (2) To understand the concept of multicultural education as depicted in the Qur'an. The study adopts a library research approach utilizing a comparative analytical method. This method is employed to analyze the multicultural values and compare the interpretations of various Islamic scholars regarding Qur'anic verses on multiculturalism. The findings of this research indicate that multicultural education is a learning approach that recognizes and embraces diversity, differences, and plurality in terms of race, culture, and language. Abstract

This research is motivated by observations indicating an increase in the social piety of students within a particular school. This enhancement is attributed to the role of teachers, which cannot be separated from their competencies, particularly their personality competence. To educate and shape students with noble character (akhlakul karimah) and to achieve this increase in piety, teachers must possess strong personality competence. The objectives of this study are: 1) To describe the Social Piety of Students at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, 2) To describe the Personality Competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Teachers at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, and 3) To describe the Implications of PAI Teachers' Personality Competence on the Enhancement of Students' Social Piety at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, complemented by a literature review approach. The data sources include primary data obtained from interviews with PAI teachers at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah, and secondary data from books or other reading materials directly related to this study. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the personality competence of teachers significantly impacts the increase in students' social piety. This is because teachers with strong personality competence contribute to enhancing the social piety of their students.  Keywords: Personality Competence of PAI Teachers, Social Piety

Abstract

This paper presents about the values of Al-Qur’an, Pancasila, and Mathematics in the discourse on the theory of interconnection integration undergoing a demystification process. The configuration of the values of Al-Qur’an, Pancasila, and Mathematics through Islamic studies is carried out with a theo-anthropocentric process on the integralist values of Al-Qur’an to Mathematics, giving birth to six models, namely Mathematics for Al-Qur’an, Mathematics from Al-Qur’an, Mathematics to explore Al-Qur’an, Mathematics to deliver Al-Qur’an, Mathematics to explain Al-Qur’an, and Mathematics with Al-Qur’an. In integration, there is an effort to restructure Qur’anic and Mathematical sciences, while in interconnection there are meetings in the format of complementation, comparison, confirmation, and the contribution of the verses of Al-Qur’an to the five precepts of Pancasila.

Abstract

Shopee e-commerce is an online-based shopping application that is widely used by people in the era of all-digital development. The payment method that is most in demand by Shopee e-commerce users is the cash on delivery (COD) method, because it has an uncomplicated payment method and also has various advantages. However, in its implementation, there are several obstacles where these problems are considered to be detrimental to the buyer. The formulation of the problem in this study is: How is the implementation of buying and selling with the cash on delivery (COD) method in Shopee e-commerce? What is the perspective of sharia economic law in buying and selling with the cash on delivery (COD) method in Shopee e-commerce?  From the formulation of the problem, the target of this study is 1. To find out the implementation of buying and selling with the cash on delivery (COD) method on Shopee e-commerce. 2. To find out the perspective of sharia economic law in buying and selling with the cash on delivery (COD) method at Shopee e-commerce. This research is included in the type of library research using descriptive, analytical and comparative methods with a qualitative approach.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of buying and selling with the cash on delivery (COD) method in Shopee e-commerce has fulfilled the pillars and conditions in buying and selling so that buying and selling like this is permissible and halal and includes popular buying and selling.  Keywords: Sharia Economy, Buying and Selling, Cash on Delivery (COD), E-commerce

Abstract

Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Karangtengah Garut is one of the boarding schools based on entrepreneurship. It is not only focused on religious education but also teaches its students entrepreneurship skills. The goal is for students to become self-reliant and skilled individuals after leaving the boarding school. In practice, Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School constantly enhances the abilities of all its students, ensuring they not only understand but also practically apply and master the skills. The issue addressed in this study is the empowerment efforts of entrepreneurial-based students at Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School. The researcher conducted field research to collect data, employing methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation to gather information about entrepreneurial empowerment at Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School. After gathering all the data, the researcher analyzed it using deductive thinking methods.   The results of the study show three empowerment efforts undertaken at Nurul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Karangtengah Garut. Firstly, by creating an atmosphere conducive to bringing out the talents or potential of the students. Secondly, by strengthening the talents and potential of the students in entrepreneurship. Thirdly, by increasing the participation interest of the students through the implementation of various regulations that require students to participate in entrepreneurial activities at the boarding school.  Keywords: Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

Zakat is an Islamic teaching with mandatory legal force established in the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the consensus of scholars. Zakat is also alongside the obligation of prayer, as stated in the Quran in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 277. Based on information found by the researcher, there are instances of zakat distribution being directed only to specific parties, resulting in the favoritism of one group. This raises concerns regarding the lack of alignment with the principles of Islamic economic law in line with the objectives of Shariah maqasid. The formulation of the problem in this research is: How is the implementation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah fund distribution in BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Agency) Garut Regency? How is the implementation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah fund distribution according to the perspective of Islamic economic law? From these research problem formulations, the objectives of this study are 1. To describe the implementation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah fund distribution managed by BAZNAS Garut Regency. 2. To describe the implementation of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah fund distribution from the perspective of Islamic economic law. This research is classified as qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of ZIS (Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah) fund distribution in BAZNAS Garut is rotated and distributed to those entitled to receive it according to appropriate eligibility criteria and procedures. Therefore, it can be concluded that from the perspective of Islamic economic law, the implementation is appropriate, but there is a need for improved socialization regarding distribution and more transparent information about distribution activities to the public so that those in need can be aware of it.  Keywords: Islamic Economic Law, Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah

Abstract

Women who have husbands and work outside the home are a common phenomenon in Indonesia, including in the Garut region. Wives work outside the home, either during the day or at night, this is a common fact and phenomenon in Garut. Of course, not a few of these phenomena get comments from the community, because it involves women's activities which are considered vulnerable to temptation and interference. This research departs from the desire to answer how the legal status of women or wives who work outside the home to help their husbands earn family income, in this case involving scholars who contribute to the internalization of religious moral values followed by the Garut community. What is the view of Garut Islamic boarding school scholars on the legal status of wives who work outside the home in Garut. This research uses historical, and sociological approaches. The historical approach used to read a person's opinion about the message of scripture cannot be separated from the historical context in which he or she interprets it. While a sociological approach is used to identify, explain the ideas of pesantren scholars in the context of the particular social situation in which they live. The results of the study stated that wives working outside the home, according to Islamic boarding school scholars in Garut is not prohibited by religion, as long as it is in the framework of building the benefits of married life and obtaining permission from the husband.
