Abstract

Abstract: This literary sociology study has the goal of describing the consumer culture contained in novel “Napoli: Ketika Jatuh di Pelukanmu (When Falling in your arms) by Riskaninda Maharani. The object of this study are the kind of object of consumption in the novel “Napoli: Ketika Jatuh di Pelukanmu” Sociology approach of the literature by analyzing literary texts relating to consumer culture in the novel. Consumption of different types of objects such as architecture, fashion, food and beverage and body ideals that made a lot of consumer culture in the novel. Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia is a country rich with diversity of race, traditions, and, culture. However, this diversity is gradually shifted as to the progress of science and technology. Thus, the need for the introduction of the culture, one through folklore to future generations so that continuity is maintained. In addition, folklore have good character learning, considering the character degradation of today’s young generation. The good characters portrayed in folklore can be taught to early childhood. Introduction to the culture and character formation through folklore can use three methods of storytelling, re-storytelling, and theater or drama. These methods for early childhood learning can be done by parents and teachers. Keywords: character education, folklore, storytelling.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital, efektivitas media pembelajaran cerita rakyat berbasis digital, minat siswa dalam literasi digital cerita rakyat, tanggapan siswa terhadap cerita rakyat bermuatan pendidikan karakter berbasis digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian survei untuk mendeskripsikan secara kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas 3 di Wonosobo Jawa Tengah Peneliti mengambil sampel secara acak terhadap siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar pada 6 sekolah. Jumlah siswa yang dilibatkan yaitu 145 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa sekolah dasar secara umum dapat terbantu dengan adanya media digital dalam pembelajaran cerita rakyat. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan presentase jumlah siswa yang mengaku terbantu dengan adanya media digital lebih besar dibandingkan dengan yang mengaku tidak terbantu dengan adanya media digital. Namun, siswa yang menerapkan pengetahuan setelah membaca cerita rakyat berbasis digital masih rendah. Untuk itu, diharapkan terjalin kerja sama antara guru dengan orang tua siswa untuk menghidupkan kembali cerita-cerita rakyat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti menceritakan dongeng agar cerita rakyat tersebut tidak tergeser oleh budaya asing yang saat ini berkembang begitu pesatnya. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Cerita Rakyat, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk kesantunan dalam kalimat imperatif pada novel Novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu karya J.S. Khairen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang berorientasi pada fenomena alamiah dan berhubungan dengan individu atau kelompok yang disajikan secara deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi, yang dalam karya sastra difokuskan pada pesan-pesan yang sesuai dengan hakikat sastra. Melalui metode analisis isi, peneliti dapat menemukan dan mengelompokkan pola-pola kesantunan kalimat imperatif yang terdapat dalam novel. Setiap ungkapan imperatif yang mencerminkan kesantunan dianalisis secara mendalam. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Dompet Ayah Sepatu Ibu karya JS Khairen, sedangkan data penelitiannya berupa kutipan tuturan yang mengandung kesantunan imperatif dalam novel tersebut. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca dan catat, yaitu dengan membaca novel secara berulang-ulang dan mencatat bagian-bagian yang berkaitan dengan kesantunan kalimat imperatif. Analisis dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima bentuk kesantunan imperatif, yaitu imperatif biasa sebanyak 6 kalimat, imperatif permintaan 10 kalimat, imperatif ajakan 6 kalimat, imperatif suruhan 4 kalimat, dan imperatif perintah sebanyak 5 kalimat. Temuan ini menunjukkan keberagaman bentuk imperatif yang digunakan oleh tokoh dalam teks sastra sebagai representasi praktik kesantunan berbahasaKata kunci: kesantunan imperative, novel

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu, mendeskripsikan budaya konsumtif perspektif postmodern Jean Baudrillard dalam novel Filosofi Kopi karya Dee Lestari. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam novel ini yaitu penggalan kata, kalimat dan ungkapan berkaitan dengan budaya konsumtif perspektif Jean Baudrillard pada novel Filosofi Kopi karya Dee Lestari. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu novel dengan judul Filosofi Kopi karya Dee Lestari yang terbit di Gagas Media tahun 2006 dengan jumlah 134 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik dokumentasi Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan simpulan. Beberapa judul cerita pendek novel berjudul Filosofi Kopi karya Dee Lestari yang mengandung budaya konsumtif yaitu Filosofi Kopi, Surat yang Tak Pernah Sampai, Selagi Kau Lelap, Sikat Gigi, dan Sepotong Kue Kuning. Hal-hal yang menjadi simbol budaya konsumen dalam cerita pendek tersebut antara lain Kopi, coffe latte, cappuccino, espresso, russian coffe, irish coffe, macchiato, bush kettle, importer mobil, artis cantik, Ben’s perfecto, 50 juta, barista, café, bioskop, restoran, cardigan, sofa, ulang tahun, fitness, kotak music, telepon, BMW, dan kuliah di luar negeri.Kata Kunci: Budaya Konsumtif, Jean Baudrillard, Novel

Abstract

This research aims to determine social criticism in the poem Lagu Orang Usiran by W. H. Auden. This research is qualitative research. The data used are sentences in the poem Lagu Orang Usiran which contain social criticism. The data source for this research is the poem Lagu Orang Usiran by W. H, Auden. The data collection technique in this research is reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques use data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results found that the social criticism in the poem Lagu Orang Usiran by W. H. Auden is social inequality, social conflict, nepotism, corruption, tyranny, social awareness and social mobility. In this poem the author wants to describe the reality of people's lives who struggle to live in the harshness of life in big cities. This poem criticizes the arbitrary actions carried out by the ruler who founded his ruling dynasty through nepotism. The condition of society has become differentiated due to social stratification factors and rampant corruption, resulting in the state and people becoming increasingly miserable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading comprehension skills of third-grade elementary school students through digital comic media based on folktales in Magelang Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted in five elementary schools in Salaman District: SDN 1 Salaman, SD Muhammadiyah Tempuran, SD IT Laboratorium, SD Muhammadiyah Jetis, and SDN Ngadirejo. Data collection techniques included literature review, observation, test sheets, and documentation. The findings reveal that the reading comprehension skills of third-grade students in Salaman District still face challenges, particularly in reading fluency and learning motivation, which are crucial factors for comprehension. The use of digital comic media has been shown to improve students' reading comprehension skills, with achievement levels increasing from 69.5% to 88% after implementation, supported by enhanced motivation and active student participation. However, not all students experienced the same level of improvement, indicating the need for additional interventions such as learning support, tailored teaching methods, visual aids, and counseling services. The success of digital comics in learning demonstrates their potential as collaborative and contextual literacy media, supported by a conducive learning environment and parental involvement. Furthermore, a comfortable school environment and a literacy movement involving the entire school community reinforce students' literacy achievements.

Abstract

his study aims to describe high school students' perceptions of the use of ecologically based digital learning media for folklore to strengthen ecoliteracy. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with 53 students in grades X, XI, and XII at Muhammadiyah 3 Senior High School in Tangerang City as subjects. Data were collected using a questionnaire structured based on three main aspects, namely: 1) digital learning media, 2) ecologically based folklore digital learning media, and 3) students' understanding of ecoliteracy through ecologically based folklore digital learning media. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive conclusion drawing. The results showed that ecologically based digital learning media for folklore positively influenced the learning process; students demonstrated excellent understanding of the material, greater enthusiasm for participation, and improved learning outcomes. In addition, students were able to apply ecological knowledge and values in everyday life. In general, ecologically based digital learning media have proven effective in fostering environmental awareness, strengthening character, and shaping students' ecological behavior, making them relevant as supporting learning media for ecoliteracy at the secondary school level.
