Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan bidang pendidikan hingga saat ini masih menjadi perhatian pemerintah,  khususnya pendidikan di daerah terpencil. Tentunya peran pemerintah perlu dibantu dengan partisipasi masyarakat luas yang salah satunya adalah Gerakan Indonesia Mengajar. Tujuan dari kajian ini untuk mengetahui strategi dan dampak program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang berkelanjutan di bidang pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh Pengajar Muda Indonesia Mengajar di Kabupaten Paser. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan ini berfokus pada bidang pendidikan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran sekolah dan terlibat dengan aktivitas masyarakat setempat serta membantu membangun jejaring dengan berbagai stakeholder lain. Program yang berlangsung selama 5 tahun sejak tahun 2010-2015, ternyata dampak dan manfaatnya masih berkelanjutan hingga saat ini. Temuan ini juga membuktikan bahwa program yang terencana dan melibatkan kolaborasi multi stakeholder berdampak jangka panjang, yaitu mampu membangun keberdayaan masyarakat sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat.  Abstract:  The development of the education sector is still a concern of the government, especially education in remote areas. Of course, the role of the government needs to be assisted with the participation of the wider community, one of which is the Indonesian Teaching Movement. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy and impact of sustainable community empowerment programs in the field of education carried out by Young Indonesian Teaching Teachers in Paser Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach with case studies. The results of the study indicate that this empowerment activity focuses on the field of education through a school learning approach and is involved with local community activities and helps build networks with various other stakeholders. The program which lasted for 5 years from 2010-2015, it turns out that the impact and benefits are still ongoing today. This finding also proves that a program that is planned and involves multi-stakeholder collaboration will have a long-term impact, able to build community empowerment so that it has an impact on improving the quality of life of the community.

Abstract

Abstract Generasi Pesona Indonesia (GenPI) is a community that was inaugurated by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia in 2016 as an effort in the promotion and development of Indonesian tourism through a digital platform. GenPI is spread in various regions in Indonesia, one of which is in Jogjakarta. This study aims to find out the creativity of the GenPI Yogyakarta in promoting tourism destination, especially the Digital Destinations of “Pasar Ngingrong”, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study. The results showed that creativity GenPI Jogja in promoting the Digital Destinations of “Pasar Ngingrong” was carried out using social media through the four stages of the promotion, which starts from the process of determining the content, content retrieval, content editing and uploading to social media. GenPI's promotional creativity has succeeded in increasing the number of tourists, helping to advance the digital destination of “Pasar Ngingrong” and providing various positive impacts for digital destination management, Government, and local communities. Keywords: GenPI, Promotion, Digital Destinations, Pasar Ngingrong

Abstract

ABSTRAKWisata perdesaan merupakan salah satu peluang bagi pengembangan desa di Indonesia dan juga bagi perkembangan pariwisata nasional. Wisata perdesaan berkontribusi besar bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat dalam pengembangan sektor pariwisata nasional untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan sekaligus melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat. Ada banyak fakta dilapangan yang menunjukkan keberhasilan dan kegagalan pengembangan desa wisata, salah satu permasalahannya ada pada keterlibatan dan dukungan masyarakat. Kajian ini ingin memaparkan secara lebih dalam bagaimana pariwisata perdesaan memperoleh dukungan masyarakat mulai tahap perencanaan hingga implementasinya. Penulis mencoba untuk menganalisa strategi dalam membangun dan mendukung inisiatif lokal untuk pengembangan wisata perdesaan. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui tektik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara mendalam untuk mengungkapkan data secara lebih rinci. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat merupakan kunci yang harus dilakukan untuk keberhasilan pengembangan wisata perdesaan di Indonesia. Inisiatif lokal perlu dimunculkan dan dipromosikan bersamaan dengan penguatan lokal champion yang nantinya akan menjadi agen perubahan masyarakat. Pada saat yang sama perlu juga dibangun jejaring antara stakeholder yang terlibat dalam pengembangan wisata perdesaan sehingga mempercepat tumbuhnya kemandirian. Abstract

Wayang golek performance art combines elements of drama, sound, literature, music, movement and fine arts. It can be said that the art of wayang golek performance is a "noble" art and must be preserved. It is very interesting to observe the wayang golek performance art at Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) which packs the show so that it can become one of the attractions of cultural tourism. This study aims to determine how the packaging of the wayang golek performance art in SAU so that it can attract and attract cultural tourism. Through qualitative research methods, it was found that the puppet show art at Saung Angklung was successfully packaged in a series of angklung performances so that it became an attractive tourist attraction. Although the duration of the puppet show is not as long as wayang performances in general, the cultural values and messages are easily accepted by the audience. The results of the research show that the management of the Saung Angklung Udjo show has succeeded in producing and creating various wayang and angklung performances continuously so that they can become an attraction for cultural tourism.

Abstract

Belitung Island was declared a national geopark in 2016, and through UNESCO’s several sessions and process, finally granted UNESCO recognition as a member of UNESCO Global Geopark Networks in 2021. The local government and the people of East Belitung as part of the Belitung Geopark area, must have various creative programs for natural and cultural preservation while at the same time improve local welfare. One of the community initiatives that was successfully developed as a synergy for the preservation and welfare improvement approach in the context of geopark development is the cultivation of Trigona honey bees as an agro-tourism attraction. This study discusses the synergy of empowerment and development of agro-tourism as one of the preferred attractions of the Belitung Geopark. This study used a qualitative methodology and data were collected through observation, interviews and focus group discussions. The results showed that community involvement in Trigona honey cultivation originated from the initiative of local leaders as agents of change. Community participation in Trigona honey cultivation strongly supports environmental sustainability because the principle in Trigona honey bee cultivation must preserve the forest. The development of agro-tourism becomes an added value of Trigona honey cultivation which support the basic idea of the development of Belitung Geopark. This local initiative approach is closely related to sustainable tourism development includes 3P (people, planet, prosperity). Theoretically, this research contributes to the idea of a local initiative (local champion), which is able to mobilize and provide added value in the management of local resources to support geopark development.

Quality of service is one of the key in hospitality industry, one of which is service in a tourism object. This article discusses the optimization role of information center and gudiing in improving service quality at Bogor Botanical Garden (KRB). Through qualitative methods, the results of this study showed that the role of information center and guiding KRB in disseminating information aboutbotanical garden to the visitors plays a very important role that increases the number of tourists who come. Abstract

The central government has designated DKI Jakarta as one of the priority areas for Indonesia's tourism development. One of the tours that is currently being developed is the Jakarta Walking Tour. Therefore, the study of the Jakarta Walking Tour tourism development strategy is interesting to do. Data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observation, and literature study. The results show that the Jakarta Walking Tour development strategy is on the track and has shown the synergy of various Jakarta tourism stakeholders. Currently there are 6 Jakarta Walking Tour routes, but these routes must be continuously developed so that more alternative travel trips can be made. In terms of promotion, it must be further enhanced by using various media so that it is better known by the wider community.

Abstract

The existence of the tourism sector is closely related to the SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals (sustainable development). The number of tourist visits is one element that can ensure an increase in the economic contribution of tourism. Researchers are interested in knowing the analysis of Hok Lay Kiong temple tourist destinations in Bekasi City using the theory of attractions, accessibility, amenities and ancillary and their impact on local residents. The method applied in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. Research shows that accessibility to get to Hok Lay Kiong Temple can be reached easily by using the K02, K05, P9BT, TP-1 bus or using the BEKASI LINE train. Attractions or performances at the Hok Lay Kiong Temple are celebrating the Chinese New Year, Capgomeh celebrations, bad luck rituals carried out on the Bekasi River and hitting the drum, playing at the beginning of the month (full moon) and at the end of the month (small moon). And the last one is ancillary at the Hok Lay Kiong Temple, namely there is a vehicle parking area, prayer room, bathroom / MCK, lodging and many others. The impacts that can be felt by residents around the Hok Lay Kiong Temple include economic growth for local residents, the surrounding community becomes more open and respects the beliefs of others, eliminates negative prejudices against a certain ethnicity, cross-cultural awareness that can increase mutual understanding and respect. understand from different cultural backgrounds.
