Abstract

The determination of outstanding honor employees is not only a form of recognition for outstanding performance, but also a motivator to encourage professional growth and individual empowerment in the work environment. This study aims to apply the ARAS method in determining outstanding honor employees so that the results of recommendations become considerations for leaders in determining outstanding honor employees. The ranking results show the results of rank 1 with the final value of the ARAS method of 0.9915 obtained by the name of employee B, rank 2 with the final value of the ARAS method of 0.985 obtained by the name of employee D, rank 3 with the final value of the ARAS method of 0.924 obtained by the name of employee A.

Abstract

Di era digital, kompetensi digital dan kreativitas visual telah menjadi keterampilan esensial bagi siswa. Hasil observasi awal di SMA Kristen Irene Manado menunjukkan bahwa meskipun siswa aktif menggunakan perangkat digital, pemanfaatannya masih bersifat pasif sebagai konsumen konten. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kompetensi digital siswa melalui pelatihan desain dan branding visual menggunakan platform Canva. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan experiential learning melalui lokakarya dan praktik langsung yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu: tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan meliputi koordinasi dengan mitra dan pelaksanaan pre-test untuk mengukur pemahaman awal; tahap pelaksanaan mencakup penyampaian materi prinsip desain, dasar-dasar branding, serta lokakarya teknis penggunaan Canva; dan tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui post-test dan kuesioner kepuasan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan nilai post-test peserta sebesar 48% dibandingkan pre-test. Selain itu, 92% peserta menyatakan pelatihan sangat bermanfaat dan 88% merasa termotivasi untuk terus menggunakan Canva. Kegiatan ini berhasil mengubah pola pikir siswa dari konsumen pasif menjadi kreator konten aktif, serta membekali mereka dengan keterampilan digital yang relevan untuk kebutuhan akademik dan kewirausahaan

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement a prototype of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based dual-mode irrigation system for chili plants, integrating automatic and manual control via the Blynk application. The background of this study is the need for efficient water management in chili farming, which is often constrained by traditional manual irrigation methods. The system is built using a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller connected to a capacitive soil moisture sensor, DHT11 sensor, and relay modules that control water and fertilizer pumps. The research method uses a prototyping model to design, build, and test the irrigation system. Real-time sensor data is transmitted to the Blynk dashboard, allowing farmers to monitor environmental conditions and control the pumps either automatically (based on threshold logic) or manually via smartphone. The calibration results show that the soil moisture sensor achieves 93.5% accuracy. Testing using the black-box method confirms that all system components function as expected, with responsive performance both in automatic and manual modes. The findings demonstrate that the dual-mode IoT-based irrigation system can maintain optimal soil moisture levels while providing flexibility for farmers to override the system based on real-world conditions. This hybrid solution offers a practical approach to modern agriculture, improving decision-making and efficiency in crop watering practices.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an essential role in the Indonesian economy due to their significant contribution to national economic growth as well as their ability to create jobs for local communities. The long-term success of MSMEs is not only determined by the products or services they offer, but also by the strategic business locations they select. However, identifying strategic locations is challenging due to the lack of structured tools, objective evaluation of multiple criteria, and limited use of integrated decision-support models. This research aims to determine the most strategic location for the development of MSMEs in Sario District, Manado City, by considering several key factors, including accessibility, population density, rental costs, community income levels, and infrastructure availability. These issues highlight the need for a systematic and objective approach to support decision-making in location selection. The problem faced in determining the location is the difficulty of integrating all criteria objectively and systematically. For this reason, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is employed to determine the weight of each criterion. In contrast, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is utilized to rank the alternative locations. The analysis found Sario Tumpaan (A4) as the most strategic location and Sario (A3) as the least. Data were obtained from surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and agency documents. The AHP–SAW-based Decision Support System effectively provided objective and consistent recommendations, with Sario Tumpaan serving as a benchmark for future evaluations and development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa kelas IX SMP Kristen Motoling dengan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran web blog model project based learning< em> pada mata pelajaran IPA dengan materi sistem reproduksi Kurangnya keterampilan siswa dalam memahami mengembangkan pemikiran memecahkan permasalahan dan melaksanakan project< em> secara tidak langsung mengakibatkan rendahnya hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang sangat penting bagi kehidupan siswa di era digital Penelitian ini memanfaatkan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian 20 orang siswa yang diterapkan pada dua siklus pembelajaran yang didalamnya terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan observasi dan refleksi Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif hasil analisis data menggambarkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang meningkat Peningkatan itu tergambar dari meningkatnya ketuntasan klasikal tiap siklus yang diuji dengan soal soal berbasis keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dari rata rata 55 pada siklus I menjadi 70 pada siklus II dan menjadi 88 pada siklus III dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada siklus I 10 orang siklus II 14 orang dan siklus III 19 orang Sehingga pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi media pembelajaran web blog model project based learning< em> dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa < p>
