Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study is to describe the effectiveness the text of the observation report of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang.This research is qualitative research with descriptive method.The result in this research shows that the effectiveness of the text of the observation report of students can be said good, 74% of 312 sentences.Based on the results of research, it was concluded six things: (1) the student is still having an error in standard word, (2) still found an error regarding the completeness of the elements, (3) still found a sentence that is not solid, (4) still found errors in the firmness of the sentence, (5) still found waste of words, (6) still found errors about parallelism. Kata kunci: Keefektifan kalimat,  laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the effect of cooperative learning model type jigsaw on reading comprehension skills of explanatory text of students of class XI SMKN 1 Payakumbuh. The data in this research are two, namely the comprehension text reading comprehension skills before using the jigsaw type cooperative learning model obtained through objective test of 33 items and tested on May 14, 2018 and skill reading comprehension text data after using jigsaw type cooperative learning model obtained through objective test of 33 items and tested on May 17, 2018. Based on the research, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of jigsaw type can be used as an alternative of learning comprehension reading comprehension skills of school text. Kata kunci: pengaruh, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw, membaca pemahaman, teks eksplanasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the skill level of writing text fable class VII students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan before using the model of discovery learning media of  series image, (2) to describe the skill level of writing text fable class VII students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan after using the model of discovery learning media of series image, (3) to describe the effect of discovery learning model with serialized media aid to the skill of writing fable text of gride students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan. Abstract

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to see the correlation of vocabulary understanding of education with the skills of writing expositional text of grade X students of SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. This research data in the form of score test result of vocabulary comprehension of field of education and score of skill of writing exposition text. The data is obtained through two types of tests, ie objective tests to measure the vocabulary understanding of the field of education and performance tests to measure the skills of writing expository texts. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the correlation of vocabulary understanding of education with the skills of writing expositional text of students of Class X SMK Negeri 1 Payakumbuh at 95% significant level with dk = n-1. Based on the t-test the hypothesis is accepted because t count> t table is 16.21> 1.67. Kata kunci: korelasi, kosakata, menulis, teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of  the research is to description the effects of the problem based learning model in the skill of writing the news for students at VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar. The method used is the experiment method. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writingthe news before use of the problem based learning model students in class VIII was on qualifications more than enough with the average value of 68,41. Second, the  skill of writing the news after use of the problem based learning model students in class VIII was on qualification Good with the average value of 77,94. Third, based on the results of uji-t, it was concluded that there is a effects of problem based learning model in the skills of writing the news for students at VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Batusangkar because the value is tarrmatic>ttable (2,87>1,68). Kata kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning,menulis,berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is four, that is describing the process of implementation of text based learning in stage (1) the preparation of context, (2) modeling, (3) making text together, (4) making the text independently in SMA Negeri Padaang. This type of research using qualitative method. Techmique of data collecting is dones by observation, interview, and documentation study. The result of the research shows that teacher in SMA Negeri Padanghave implemented four aspects of text based learning that is in context complilation phase, the teacher ensures the students have understood the meaning of text, the type of text, the form of text, the purpose of the text, and language of the text. At the modeling stage, teacher ensure students are able to analyze the type of the text, text structure, text form, text purpose, and textual language. At the joint text making stage, the teacher ensures that student have been able to organize the text together. At the stage of making the text independently, the teacher ansures the student is able to produce new texts by the students independently. Kata kunci : teks, konteks, pemodelan, bersama, mandiri

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has written the contribution of reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students’ writing short story text ability at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang. This research is quantitative research using the descriptive method and the contribution research design. The research data is the test result score of reading short story text ability and the test result score of writing short story text ability. The data has obtained through two types of test that are the objective test which uses yo measure the writing ability of short story text. Based on the result of data analysis and the discussion, the researcher concludes the three things follow; first, the average score of the student’ reading comprehension ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (78,29). Second, the average score of the student’ writing ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (75,89). Third, there are the significant contributions between the reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students writing ability of story text at XI class of SMAN 7 padang as much as 70,56%.   Kata Kunci: kontribusi, keterampilan, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the effect of using au-inquired media-based inquiry strategy to the writing skills of fifteenth-grade textbook students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. The sample in this study amounted to 32 people. The data of this research is the score of skill test result of fable story writing. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are concluded. First, the skills of writing fable stories without using audiovisual audiovisual media aided in VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang is in the Qualification More than Enough (Ldc) with an average score of 72.92. Second, the skill of writing fable stories using audiovisual audiovisual aided media inquiry strategy VII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang is in Good qualification (B) with an average score of 84.11. Third, the skill of writing fable stories using audiovisual audiovisual media aided in VII SMP 34 Padang is higher than without using the audiovisual audiovisual auxiliary media strategy of VII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang, but has not reached KKM. In other words, an audiovisual-aided audiovisual media inquiry strategy of VII students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang influences the writing skills of fifteenth-grade textbook students of SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Kata kunci: Pengaruh; Strategi Inkuiri; Media Audiovisual; Keterampilan                                                 Menulis; Teks Cerita Fabel
