Abstract

The flow of globalization which has had an influence in various fields has brought about major changes in the world order. This research will discuss Religious Culture as a Hidden Curriculum in Shaping Students' Islamic Character at Madrasah. This research was conducted in an effort to maintain Islamic character values through religious culture which is included in the hidden curriculum. The type of research used is qualitative research, which is a research process that produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words from the people and actors being observed. This research is also included in the type of field research, namely research by going directly to the research location. The results of the research show that the hidden implementation at madrasah takes the form of memorizing juz 'amma, dhuha prayers in congregation, monthly donations, getting used to praying in congregation. The learning methods used in forming Islamic character use the method of saving verses, dhuha prayers, dhuhur prayers in congregation, kultum, and shaking hands when going to and from school.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca disertai dengan pemahaman tajwid yang baik bagi calon guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI), tidak hanya menjadi kewajiban pribadi sebagai seorang muslim, namun sudah menjadi bagian dari tuntutan profesionalitas calon guru PAI. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an mahasiswa baru Program Studi PAI UIN Salatiga yang belum lulus tes diagnostik melalui metode Sur’aty. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan langkah-langkah yang digunakan dikenal dengan istilah KUPAR (to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action dan to Reflection. Objek dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah mahasiswa baru Program Studi PAI UIN Salatiga. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam tujuh pertemuan dalam paruh pertama semester gasal 2023/2024. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah semua peserta matrikulasi mengalami peningkatan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an dalam aspek pengenalan huruf dan penguasaan hukum dasar tajwid berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh mentor. The ability to read accompanied by a good understanding of tajweed for prospective Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is not only a personal obligation as a Muslim, but has become part of the professional demands of prospective PAI teachers.The purpose of this service activity is to improve the ability to read the Qur'an of new students of the Islamic Education Study Program of UIN Salatiga who have not passed the diagnostic test through the Sur'aty method. The method used in this service activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with the steps used known as KUPAR (to Know, to Understand, to Plan, to Action and to Reflection). The object of this service activity is new students of UIN Salatiga's PAI Study Program. This service activity was carried out in seven meetings in the first half of the odd semester 2023/2024. The results obtained from this service activity are that all matriculation participants have improved their ability to read the Qur'an in the aspect of letter recognition and mastery of the basic laws of tajweed based on the evaluation results conducted by the mentor.

Abstract

MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan merupakan sekolah unggul yang telah menggunakan kurikulum yang memadukan iptek dan imtaq. Fakta tersebut didapatkan dari beberapa jurnal yang telah terpublikasi dengan bukti yang konkrit. Penelitian ini berlokasi di MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan, berfokus pada kurikulum yang diterapkan di MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan serta bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan kurikulum di MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan, dan juga pengembangannya. Sekolah tersebut telah menggunakan kurikulum integratif yang memadukan IPTEK (Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi) dan IMTAQ (Iman dan Taqwa). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode library research atau studi pustaka. MAN Insan Cendekia Pekalongan merupakan sekolah unggul yang telah memadukan kurikulum integratif dengan konsep kurikulum yang mencakup pendekatan subjek akademis, humanistik, dan teknologi, serta rekonstruksi sosial. Pendekatan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan generasi yang tidak hanya unggul dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, tetapi juga memiliki moralitas dan spiritualitas yang tinggi. Pengembangan kurikulum di sekolah ini juga melibatkan evaluasi secara berkelanjutan untuk menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman dan kebutuhan global. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mendalam tentang analisis pengembangan kurikulum integratif serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaannya. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan kurikulum serupa di sekolah-sekolah lain di Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the learning strategy of fiqh based on Computational Thinking in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, which are included in the type of field research. The data sources used are primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data was then checked for validity through triangulation. After the data is collected, it is analyzed by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Computational Thinking-based fiqh learning strategy in understanding santri fiqh material was taught by implementing indicators such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithm as a tool for understanding santri fiqh and direct practice for santri. Computational Thinking-based fiqh learning strategies can increase students' understanding of the material to be more in-depth. This research can be a new treasure and reference in organizing learning in Computational Thinking-based pesantren.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan pengabdian yang bertujuan pengoptimalan dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka melalui In House Training (IHT) pelatihan kurikulum merdeka. Latar belakang dari kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah banyak guru yang belum memahami sistem pelaksanaan dalam kurikulum merdeka, serta banyak guru yang hanya mengandalkan modul ajar dari modul ajar yang telah disediakan, padahal semestinya guru menyusun modul ajarnya sendiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah PAR (participatory action research), dimana penulis secara aktif ikut mendampingi kegiatan melalui In House Training (IHT) pelatihan kurikulum merdeka. Peserta dari kegiatan melalui In House Training (IHT) pelatihan kurikulum merdeka adalah 14 guru mapel di MTs Raudhotul Furqon Banyubiru, Kabupaten Semarang. Kegiatan melalui In House Training (IHT) pelatihan kurikulum merdeka ini dilaksanakan selama satu hari, mendatangkan satu narasumber, menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, serta keterampilan dalam menulis modul ajar, dengan outcome draft modul ajar yang diharapkan kedepannya bisa digunakan dalam jangka yang lama.

Abstract

Background & objectives: This article discusses the management of inclusive education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), focusing on strategies and innovations, challenges and solutions, as well as the internalization of Islamic values in its implementation. Method: This qualitative case study at MI Tarbiyatul Aulad involved the principal and special needs teachers selected through purposive sampling, using planning, implementation, and reporting procedures with data collected via interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results: The findings reveal: 1) five components of inclusive education management, namely initial assessment, curriculum adaptation, provision of special needs teachers, resource room and psychologist services; 2) two main challenges and their solutions in implementing inclusive education management; 3) three strategies for internalizing Islamic values, including the application of noble moral values, inclusive learning methods, and curriculum adjustments based on Islamic principles. Contribution of theory: The study reinforces the theory of Islamic education management grounded in the principles of tawafuq (harmony), ‘adl (justice), and rahmah (compassion). Limitations & Recommendations: A noted limitation is the lack of evaluation regarding the effectiveness and long-term impact of each component, suggesting the need for further research.

Abstract

One aspect of Islamic education is the purpose and scope of Islamic education. There are several verses of the Koran which contains the theme of the purpose and scope of Islamic education, including the letter al-Baqarah verse 62 as well as an-Nur verse 55. One method to interpret the verse is the method muqaran (comparative). Both texts are compared against each other to find a common thread. Of those verses can be concluded that the purpose of Islamic education is to achieve the happiness of living in the world and the hereafter and the scope of Islamic education are the efforts to achieve the objectives of Islamic education (happiness in this world and the Hereafter) which includes faith in God and do good pious

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan kerangka konseptual dan model kurikulum yang mampu mengintegrasikan aspek spiritualitas, saintifik, dan teknologi secara utuh untuk merekonstruksi kurikulum Pendidikan Islam yang adaptif melalui integrasi nilai tauhid, teknologi, dan sains guna menjawab tantangan zaman dan membentuk generasi Qur’ani modern. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih kuatnya dikotomi antara ilmu agama dan ilmu umum, serta lemahnya keterkaitan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dengan kebutuhan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan literature review deskriptif-analitis terhadap berbagai jurnal ilmiah dan buku akademik yang terkait dengan rekonstruksi kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi tauhid sebagai fondasi epistemologis, sains sebagai metodologi, dan teknologi sebagai instrumen pembelajaran, mampu mengatasi fragmentasi keilmuan dan memperkuat dimensi spiritual peserta didik. Kurikulum adaptif yang dihasilkan bersifat kontekstual, partisipatoris, dan responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Pendekatan ini juga mendorong transformasi peran guru sebagai muaddib dan agen perubahan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis dalam wacana epistemologi pendidikan Islam dan rekomendasi praktis bagi pengembangan kebijakan kurikulum integratif yang transformatif, serta membuka ruang bagi studi lanjutan terkait implementasi dan evaluasi kurikulum ini di berbagai lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Learning in society 5.0 and the covid-19 pandemic requires several skills to be mastered, both by students and teachers. These skills are creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, compassion, and computational thinking (6C). This paper describes the training carried out on teachers to improve computational thinking skills. A teacher must master computational thinking to prepare the next generation of potential, superior, and ready to face the era of society 5.0. The training target is MI teachers in Pabelan District, totaling 26 teachers. The training was divided into several stages, including a pretest, material presentation, practice working on logarithmic problems, creating a Bebras account, tutorial on making games using scratch software, and posttest. At the end of the activity, participants are asked to fill out a presence link as a condition to get a certificate. The training results showed that most of the participants could understand and implement computational thinking. It can be seen from the results of the posttest given. Participants were very enthusiastic and active in participating in the training. They were also happy because follow-up activities after the training were completed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of outdoor learning methods in learning asmaulhusna material in seventh grade moral creed subjects. This research uses field research method with descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and observations. Data validity test using triangulation. The informants of this research are the principal of MTs Raudlatul Furqan, moral creed subject teachers, and students. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in understanding the given asmaulhusna material. The outdoor learning method is used to provide variations in the delivery of learning materials and invite students to recognize and interact with the surrounding environment. By focusing on the study of outdoor learning methods on asmaulhusna material, the results of this study can be a reference for Islamic education institutions in delivering asmaulhusna learning material to students through outdoor learning methods.
