Abstract

Semakin tingginya kebutuhan akan pembangunan di Indonesia, menekan biaya infrastruktur dengan inovasi pemanfaatan material alternatif harus menjadi solusi jangka panjang. Menjadi nilai tambahan jika material konstruksi alternatif yang dimanfaatkan adalah limbah buangan. Salah satu limbah yang potensial dimanfaatkan yaitu limbah cangkang telur yang potensial dicobakan sebagai material subtitusi semen pada campuran beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kuat tekan dan kuat tarik belah pada beton yang berisi abu cangkang telur sebagai material subtitusi parsial semen sehingga dapat diketahui kadar abu cangkang yang optimum. Pada penelitian ini dibuat beton dengan bahan baku abu cangkang telur yang dikombinasikan dengan material penyusun beton pada umumnya. Secara parsial, abu cangkang telur menggantikan berat semen dengan kadar 0%, 4%, 8%, dan 12% dari total berat semen. Dari hasil pengujian umur 28 hari kuat tekan yang dihasilkan nilai kuat beton setiap kadar abu cangkang secara berurutan yaitu 30.48 MPa; 33.69 MPa; 35.59 MPa; dan 29.44 MPa. Kuat tarik belah yang dihasilkan pada umur 28 hari untuk setiap kadar abu cangkang secara berurutan yaitu sebesar 3.26 MPa; 3.82 MPa, 4.10 MPa, dan 3.40 MPa. Artinya penggunaan abu cangkang telur sebanyak 8% dari berat total semen yang menghasilkan kuat tekan 35.116 Mpa dan tarik belah maksimum 4.043 Mpa yang menjadikan variasi abu 8% sebagai kadar optimum.

Abstract

Generation Z has become an increasingly significant segment of the workforce, bringing unique characteristics and expectations that differ from previous generations. As a result, organizations must understand the motivational patterns that influence their retention. This study aims to map retention strategies for Generation Z employees through a literature-based approach using several motivation theories, including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, Self-Determination Theory, and Expectancy Theory. The findings indicate that Generation Z seeks not only financial compensation but also flexibility, continuous development opportunities, a supportive work environment, and fair and meaningful rewards. The integration of these theories demonstrates that Generation Z’s retention is shaped by the fulfillment of basic needs, intrinsic motivation, psychological needs, and perceptions of fairness and relevance of rewards. This study concludes that effective retention strategies for Generation Z must be holistic and designed to meet their comprehensive needs, enabling organizations to retain young talent more sustainably.

Abstract

Hasil evaluasi instalasi listrik pada bangunan gedung Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 sebatik tengah kabupaten nunukan menghasilkan total daya pada bangunan sebesar 9464 Watt dengan kapasitas MCB pada kWh meter sebesar 26 A. Pada gedung Sekolah Dasar Negeri 001 masing-masing terdiri dari 3 kelompok R,S T yang terhubung pada panel pembagi beban (SDP). Dimana pada kelompok R 2912 watt, S 3285 watt dan T 3267 watt.  Untuk luas penampang kabel yang digunakan adalah 2,5  dan kemudian 4   ke panel pembagi beban (SDP) dan 2,5  dari panel pembagi beban (SDP) menuju ke masing-masing beban instalasi. Pada nilai resistansi pada tanah sebesar 0,18 .

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students’ digital literacy through the introduction of basic coding at SMP Negeri 1 Praya Tengah. Digital literacy is an essential competence in the era of information technology, encompassing not only the ability to operate digital devices but also the capacity to think logically, critically, and creatively in solving problems using technology. This program was implemented by the MBKM MAPS team from the Department of Mathematics, University of Mataram, involving seventh-grade students as participants. The implementation stages included preparation (coordination and planning), execution (introduction to basic coding concepts using the Python language on the Google Colab platform), and evaluation through pre-test and post-test to measure the program’s effectiveness. The results of the paired samples t-test analysis indicated a significant improvement in students’ abilities after participating in the training, with a mean difference value of  and a significance value of . These results demonstrate that the activity successfully improved students’ understanding of programming logic and computational thinking skills. In addition to the statistical improvement, observations showed high enthusiasm among participants in practicing simple coding tasks. Overall, this activity has had a positive impact on enhancing digital literacy and represents an initial step in fostering a technology-based learning culture within the school environment.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to assess the implementation of human resource development programs at the Human Resource Management and Development Department of Company X through technical assessments. The activity was carried out over three months from October to December 2025, involving participants from various fields such as utilities, maintenance engineering, and other fields. The methods used included participatory observation, informal interviews, and documentation. The results show that the program runs in a structured manner with the support of an HRIS system, coaching, and mentoring. Supporting factors include a clear organizational structure, defined role distribution, active involvement of MPSDM, and adequate facilities. The obstacles found include time constraints, variations in participant readiness, and technical system disruptions that cause implementation to not always go according to schedule. This activity provides an empirical overview for evaluating the effectiveness of the competency development program at Company X.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing environment of Pondok Al-Azka to identify strategic opportunities and threats affecting business sustainability in the competitive housing market of Makassar. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing case study methods and data collection through in-depth interviews and direct observations. The research findings reveal that Pondok Al-Azka possesses a significant competitive advantage through a penetration pricing strategy and extensive parking facilities, which are crucial factors for the student segment. However, the business faces substantial external threats, including high dependence on the academic calendar of Universitas Negeri Makassar and a shift in consumer preferences toward digital connectivity. Analysis of the marketing mix indicates that while low rental costs maintain local stability, the lack of digital visibility limits broader market reach. The study concludes that Pondok Al-Azka is currently in a stable yet vulnerable position. To ensure long-term growth, the business must transition from conventional to hybrid marketing strategies by integrating digital visibility via Google Maps and providing Wi-Fi facilities. Internal management improvements regarding cleanliness and order are also essential to enhance service quality. These strategic steps are vital for maintaining student loyalty and competing with modern housing alternatives in the digital era.
