This consideration underlies the selection of Jelegong Village, Rancaekek, as the location for the Community Service Program (PkM) conducted by lecturers and students of Ilkom UKRI. As an application of communication science, this Community Service Program aims to foster disaster preparedness among residents of Rancaekek District in responding to various types of disasters that may occur, including potential recurring disasters. In its implementation, the program employed an educational outreach method through lectures to deliver information, knowledge, and understanding to the community.
