Abstract

Plaque is the main cause of caries and periodontal disease. Plaque can be cleaned by toothbrushing. Tootbrushing, as all habits of hygiene, can be teachable in the early of childhood because cognitive and motoric abilities can be improved. The aim of this study was to analyse the decreasing plaque indexes among different teaching methods that is with video, demonstration and combination methods. The study design was an experimental pre and post test design. Sixty children from preschool children at Boddhicita school Medan was divided into 4 groups (I-video; II-demonstration; III-combination method ; IV-control group). Plaque control measurement was used with Quigley-Hein index. The results showed that there were significant differences (p<0,05) in decreasing plaque score among the teaching methods (p<0,05). As conclusions, teaching method with combination is more effective in teaching 3-5 years old child than demonstration method. Video method is not recommended in teaching 3-5 years old child.

Abstract

Client delight is one of the matters that must be prioritized by every company. This research was made based on the goal of achieving the point of satisfaction of the customers of PT Prima Labeling. This study the point of satisfaction of the customers of PT. Prima Labeling. This have a look at goals to decide the impact of service, product quality, and promotion on purchaser satisfaction at PT Prima Labeling. The object of this research is the consumer of PT Prima Labeling. Statistics analysis used multiple linear regression evaluation. The technique in this study uses a saturated sample where the authors use as many as 104 respondents. To test the hypothesis used is the t test and F test and use SPSS software version 25. Based in the results of research that has been carried out, it has been shown that service, product quality, and promotion have a positive and significant impact on purchaser satisfaction, which sees the outcomes of the t count > t table and significant value obtained < 0,05. Service, product quality, and promotion also concurrently have a hight quality and huge relationship with the purchaser satisfaction variable, it may be visible from the calculated f value > f table and the sizeable value is < 0,05.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the political landscape of Indonesia, creating opportunities and challenges in ethical political education. This study analyzes the implementation of ethical political education in Indonesia's digital era with a focus on its challenges and opportunities. Based on a literature study with a qualitative approach, this study explores the phenomenon of filter bubbles, digital literacy, and the integration of Pancasila values ​​in forming ethical digital citizens. Data from the Ministry of Communication and Information shows that more than 100 thousand negative content was spread on social media in 2023, while Indonesia's digital literacy index in 2022 was still at a moderate level (3.54). The findings show that political education faces significant challenges due to the filter bubble and echo chamber phenomena that strengthen polarization and hinder constructive dialogue. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in civic education has proven effective in increasing students' political awareness, but the implementation of Pancasila values ​​in the curriculum is still uneven. Ethical political education requires a collaborative strategy between educational institutions, government, and civil society to design policies and programs that are responsive to digital dynamics. Recommendations include the integration of digital literacy and political ethics in the formal curriculum, the development of teacher training programs, increasing public awareness of the dangers of filter bubbles, and a holistic approach in teaching Pancasila values. With the implementation of this strategy, ethical political education is expected to form citizens who are critical, responsible, and have integrity in facing the complexities of digital democracy.

Abstract

This literature review aims to examine the relationship between irregular sleep patterns and cognitive decline in college students. The method used is a systematic literature review of international scientific articles from 2008-2025 from reputable databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. The results of the study showed that irregular sleep patterns are correlated with decreased academic performance, with an average decrease in GPA of 0.3 points. Students with poor sleep quality (PSQI score >8) showed 15% lower performance on working memory tests. One night of disturbed sleep reduces attention span capacity by 30%. A bidirectional relationship was found between irregular sleep patterns and symptoms of depression and anxiety (OR = 2.1; 95% CI 1.8-2.4), which had a negative impact on cognitive function. Morning light-based interventions increased the Sleep Regularity Index by 15% with an average increase in GPA of 0.2 points, while CBT-I reduced PSQI scores by 5 points and increased working memory by about 12%. Limitations of the study include the dominance of cross-sectional studies from Western countries. It is concluded that regular sleep patterns are a key factor in supporting brain health and academic performance in students. Higher education institutions need to integrate sleep health programs into student services.

Abstract

This study examines the transformation of language form and function in digital communication, focusing on platforms such as Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, and Kaskus. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach and multimodal analysis of 2,000 digital entries, it was found that digital communication forms a new language genre that is hybrid, visual, and performative. Phenomena such as code-mixing, acronyms, phonetic spelling, and the use of emoticons and memes reflect linguistic adaptations to the speed, efficiency, and emotional expression that characterize digital platforms. The findings show linguistic variation between generations: Gen Z tends to use visual symbols and concise language, while older generations (Millennials and Gen X) maintain a more formal sentence structure. Data visualization using NVivo and Voyant Tools strengthens the identification of dominant themes such as emotion, irony, and community slang. These findings support previous literature, such as Barrot (2022) and Kurmanbekova et al. (2023), which highlight the simplification and diversification of language in the digital era. This study confirms that social media is not only a space for linguistic expression, but also an arena for innovation, the spread of digital dialects, and shifts in communication norms. While bringing creativity and cultural engagement, these changes also raise concerns about the decline in formal literacy skills. Therefore, this study recommends further exploration of the long-term impact of digital language use on literacy education and culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pelayanan pisang crispy di Kabupaten Bengkayang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskritif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi melalui proses pengolaan data sampai pada penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kualitas pelayanan dapat meningkatkan layanan yang diberikan pelaku usaha pisang crispy. konsumen menyukai produk pisang crispy dengan rasa yang enak dan gurih dapat membangun kepuasan dan hubungan yang kuat dengan para konsumen. Sarana dan prasarana mmeberikan dampak yang baik bagi para pelaku usaha untuk tetap memperhatikan kebersihan dan kerapian saat berjualan. Daya tanggap sesuai dengan kebutuhan para konsumen serta saran dan masukan yang diberikan dapat terapkan. Kemasan produk dapat memberikan informasi yang jelas tentang produk usaha yang sedang dijalankan.

Abstract

Futsal is a high-intensity sport characterized by frequent accelerations, sudden changes in direction, and limited playing space, which places athletes especially at the amateur level at increased risk of muscle injuries. This study explores the application of GPS tracker technology to map player movement patterns and analyze their relationship with muscle injury risk in amateur futsal athletes. A total of 10 amateur male players aged 18–25 participated in this four-week quasi-experimental study. Data was collected during training and match sessions using wearable GPS devices that recorded key metrics such as distance travelled, movement speed, acceleration, and positional heatmaps. Initial analysis revealed a concentration of player movement in the central and right-wing areas of the pitch, likely due to tactical preferences and dominant-foot usage. Based on this movement mapping, a targeted intervention program was developed, including muscle strengthening, active recovery protocols, and individualized load management. Comparative analysis between Week 1 and Week 4 showed significant improvements across physical performance parameters: total distance (+11.38%), maximum speed (+7.94%), average speed (+5.10%), and high-intensity accelerations (+33.33%). Recovery time also decreased by 21.43%, suggesting enhanced adaptation and resilience. The findings emphasize the potential of GPS-based monitoring not only for performance evaluation but also as a strategic tool for injury prevention. By identifying high-load zones and tailoring training to individual profiles, coaches can implement more effective conditioning and rotation strategies. This study supports the integration of GPS technology in amateur-level training environments to improve both performance outcomes and athlete safety.

Abstract

Penggunaan pencatatan manual oleh UMKM menjadi tantangan bagi pemilik dalam menilai status keuangan usaha, yang sebagian besar disebabkan oleh keterbatasan dalam akurasi yang terkait dengan metode pencatatan manual. Oleh karena ini tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membatu penyelesaian masalah yang terjadi khususnya pada UMKM Jodoh Photo yaitu penerapan sistem pencatatan akuntansi dengan menggunakan Microsoft Access. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk membantu pemilik dalam pengoperasian dan administrasi masalah keuangan dalam mengembangkan sistem pencatatan keuangan dengan memfasilitasi pemantauan keuangan usaha oleh pemilik dan meningkatkan kemampuan dalam membuat pilihan yang tepat. Sistem yang diusulkan akan menyediakan platform untuk mendokumentasikan transaksi pembelian, penjualan, dan pelacakan inventaris. Kegiatan praktik ini menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang komprehensif dan tepat, termasuk laporan laba rugi, neraca, pembelian, penjualan, dan persediaan.

Abstract

The deep learning approach in education emphasizes deep conceptual understanding, active student engagement, and the integration of contextual knowledge. This study aims to analyze the urgency and potential synergy between deep learning and the Kurikulum Merdeka in strengthening the quality of primary education in Indonesia. A qualitative method with a literature review was employed to gain an in-depth understanding from relevant sources. The study population consisted of literature on the Kurikulum Merdeka, deep learning, and Indonesian primary education, with a purposive sample drawn from credible sources published between 2021 and 2025. Documentation instruments and qualitative content analysis were used to identify themes and conceptual relationships. The results indicate that integrating deep learning into the Kurikulum Merdeka fosters meaningful, active, and contextual learning that strengthens character development and 21st-century competencies. However, challenges remain, particularly regarding teacher readiness and infrastructure. In conclusion, this approach is crucial for reinforcing the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka, requiring continuous teacher training and policy support to ensure equitable resource distribution.
