The role of tolerance is very important amid issues of division and radicalism. The spread of information on radicalism and extremism was met with resistance by many social organizations. They counter the issues of extremism and radicalism spread in society with issues of tolerance. This study aims to determine how tolerance messages are constructed on social media, especially on the Instagram account of Jaringan Gusdurian. This research employs qualitative approach with Entmant framing analysis techniques. Findings reveal that tolerance is constructed as a key to peace and unity in Indonesia. The problem of intolerance is caused by extremism. The moral values that legitimize tolerance are friendly religious Islam, solidarity transcendental insight of the Indonesian people. While the solutions offered to solve the problem of tolerance are caring for diversity and implementing the values of Pancasila in everyday life.Keywords: Framing analysis, Instagram, social media, and tolerance.

This article seeks to explain the Indonesian foreign policy in the integration of ASEAN cooperation related to the handling of drugs and drug trafficking. Illegal trade in drugs/hazardous materials in the form of narcotics or abbreviated Narcotics, is a challenge for the Indonesian government because it can threaten national security. Perguruan Tinggi di Indonesia telah menerapkan berbagai fasilitas teknologi informasi untuk mendukung pengelolaan administrasi akademik, proses belajar mengajar, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Salah satunya Universitas Terbuka yaitu Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) yang menerapkan sistem belajar terbuka dan jarak jauh. Sistem belajar tersebut diselenggarakan untuk meningkatkan daya jangkau dan pemerataan kesempatan pendidikan tinggi yang berkualitas bagi semua warga negara Indonesia, termasuk mereka yang tinggal di daerah-daerah terpencil, baik di seluruh nusantara maupun di berbagai belahan dunia. Universitas Terbuka berusaha memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada mahasiswa dan dosen dengan menerapkan sistem pembelajaran modern secara jarak jauh. Salah satu fasilitas teknologi informasi yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar secara jarak jauh adalah penerapan E-Learning (https://elearning.ut.ac.id/). Sistem tersebut sudah digunakan cukup lama oleh mahasiswa Universitas Terbuka Malang tetapi belum ada evaluasi untuk memastikan aspek manfaat dan kegunaannya. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penelitian untuk evaluasi terhadap penerimaan sistem informasi E-Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori End User Computer Satisfaction atau EUCS. EUCS mendefinisikan lima variabel bebas yaitu isi, akurasi, bentuk, kemudahan penggunaan, dan ketepatan waktu serta satu variable terikat yaitu kepuasan. dua Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 35 responden mahasiswa pengguna E-Learning di Universitas Terbuka dengan pengambilan sampel di mahasiswa UPBJJ Malang dan sekitarnya. Dengan dilakukannya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi kepada para pemangku kepentingan untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan E-Learning.

Tanjungbumi is one of the batik making areas in Madura. Batik Tanjungbumi until now still uses motif patterns for generations. Pattern motif in batik motif is a cultural heritage that has various interpretations of meaning as the background. various patterns of batik motifs are very interesting to be studied as a process and cultural products. Although Tanjungbumi Batik has a characteristic use of plant and animal symbols in its motif pattern. But in Tanjungbumi batik the representation of plant and animal symbols is done by stilation process. It is interesting to be studied more deeply to know how the representation of animal and plant symbols in Tanjungbumi batik pattern. Although there have been many studies on batik, but there is still little discussion of the value and meaning in the pattern of the motif. Moreover, the study of Tanjungbumi batik motif pattern from the perspective of semiotics analysis. This study uses qualitatively discrete methods, with data collection techniques through observation, literature studies, and interviews with resource persons. Charles Sanders Peirce's visual semiotics analysis was used to examine the object of research, namely batik pattern. Then conclusions are drawn based on data analysis.

The Madurese people are described as very religious. Many of the cultural attributes reflect Islamic values. Islam has existed since the 15th century and has influenced various aspects of culture, one of which is Madurese batik. The existence of Islam in Madura has influenced the Tanjungbumi batik motif. Although Tanjungbumi Batik has a characteristic use of plant and animal characters, However Islamic elements are reflected in the motifs. So it is interesting to study in order to determine the influence of Islam in the Tanjungbumi batik motif. Although there have been many studies on Madurese batik, there has been little discussion about the patterns of batik motifs. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through observation, literature study, and interviews with resource persons. Charles Sanders Peirce's visual semiotic analysis is used to study the object of research. Then conclusions are drawn based on data analysis. The promotion mix activities carried out by the West Halmahera Regency Tourism Office were carried out to attract attention so that tourists would come to visit the Festival Teluk Jailolo, West Halmahera Regency. This study was conducted to know and analyze the influence of integrated marketing communications proxied with variables advertising, public relations, personal selling, direct marketing, and interactive marketing on the decision to visit the Festival Teluk Jailolo, West Halmahera Regency. This research is a type of survey research by taking a sample of tourists who visit the Festival Teluk Jailolo held annually by the local government of West Halmahera Regency. The samples in this study were tourists who were or had visited the Festival Teluk Jailolo which was taken by a simple random sampling method with a total of 96 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and analysis methods used using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the smart PLS program. The results showed that the variables of advertising, personal selling, and direct marketing had a positive and significant effect on the decision to visit the Festival Teluk Jailolo while the variables of public relations and interactive marketing did not affect the decision to visit the Festival Teluk Jailolo.

The development of Gili Iyang as a new tourist destination has quite complex problems, one of which is due to mutual claims to the oxygen location point between the people of Bancamara Village and Banraas Village. Therefore, this research aims to prevent conflicts of interest between the two villages using a collaborative communication approach. This research uses qualitative methods, including observation and interview data collection methods. The results of this study show that 1) The collaboration process can occur through open communication. 2) Conflict prevention of Gili Iyang tourism management can be done through several stages: consensus, mediation, deliberation, peace declaration, and direct perception. 3) The role of collaborative communication in the joint management of Gili Iyang tourism is based on the willingness to share understanding, open dialog, commit to goals, and build trust. 4) A collaborative communication strategy is built dynamically to increase participation and willingness to build a shared understanding of the importance of joint management.

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menginisiasi munculnya corak motif batik baru. Kegiatan yang dikemas dalam bentuk pendampingan terhadap komunitas UMKM ini bertujuan menginisiasi munculnya corak motif batik khas Malangan. Hal tersebut didasari karena kurang beragamnya corak motif batik yang menjadi identitas Malang Raya. Corak batik motif akan dikreasikan dengan memperhatikan nilai historis, nilai filosofis dan potensi daerah Malang Raya. Secara umum kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan kepada Masyarakat luas bahwa Malang memiliki corak batik khas. Namun permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Komunitas UMKM ialah bagaimana merepresentasikan secara visual nilai historis, filosofi dan simbol-simbol Malang Raya dalam corak motif batik. Disisi lain proses produksi batik turut menjadi fokus kegiatan pengabdian lantaran Komunitas UMKM masih belum memahaminya. Desain kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah workshop dengan narasumber. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pembuatan corak motif dan praktik produksi. Tim juga bekerja sama dengan praktisi profesional dari rumah produksi batik untuk proses transferring knowledge.

Cultural acculturation and religiosity strongly influence the creation of Madura Batik. The pattern of batik motifs is interesting to study as a dynamically developing cultural product. There is a process of cultural communication in batik, with motifs as the medium. Even though there are many studies on Madura Batik, it is still rare to study motifs, especially from a visual communication perspective. The study was conducted to find out the meaning of Batik motifs. The exploratory qualitative study method was used with a combination of direct observation and literature review. Research sources come from craftsmen, boutique owners, and Madurese cultural figures. Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotic Analysis is used to examine the object of research on batik motifs. The results found that there were elements of acculturation in the patterns of batik motifs. The process of acculturation occurred from the Hindu-Buddhist era until the modern era. The Islamic aspect is contained in the pattern of batik motifs with the stylization process.
