Abstract

Taman Sari Tourism Marketing Strategy Through Destination branding has tourism potential through culture and historical value. With this potential, the government is managing tourism in order to be able to move the economy in Taman Sari. In realizing this vision, planning and strategy are needed, one of which is Destination Branding. Destination branding is used in every tourism site in the world and is able to make a good impact on the progress of tourism, for example are the Twin Towers in Malaysia, the Merlion Statue in Singapore, the Taj Mahal in India, etc. Destination branding has an important role to be able to increase the number of tourist visits. This study uses a qualitative approach, a qualitative approach is used in order to get complete information about tourism marketing strategies with Destination Branding. The results of this study found that the Destination branding strategy in Taman Sari is not planned systematically, so that Destination branding is only understood in a small way, that is only in the visualization aspect. So that tourism product development programs are not in accordance with the concept of Destination branding that has been made.

Abstract

This study focused on the tourism impact on the culture of Kebonagung tourism village, Imogiri, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive and using the case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interview and literature review. Cultural component data were presented descriptively, and they explained about how tourism brought effects to them. The transformational condition of the culture itself contained many aspects such as; religion, socio-cultural, livelihood, technology growth, language and art. The goal of this study was to find tourism impacts on Kebonagung Society. In religion, the impact towards the society was they could positively accept the diversity of religion. However, the local religion system also became the biggest challenge to develop tourism. Tourism also gave a positive impact to the society organizational system. It made the society more open minded. When tourism brought foreign culture inside, it also threated the local society organizational system. Other impact was the livelihood of the local society can be widely known, but it also potentially faded the originality of the culture itself by the tourist. In the language aspect, tourism helped Javanese Language and Javanese Script to be widely used especially in tourism activity. From the negative side, local language also had to compete with foreign language. The effect of tourism development in the field of art was that it brought art closer to society, but foreign art and culture can also rub the local art and culture.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) Determine and analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee productivity Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta, (2) analyzing the effect cultural influence organization against employee productivity, (3) Know and analyze the influence of job satisfaction, and organizational culture on employee, and (4) Knowing and analyzing the variable job satisfaction and culture organization if there is a dominant effect on employee productivity. Type of research used in this research is the explanation. The variable in this study are job satisfaction, organizational culture, and work productivity. The populations in this study are all permanent employee of Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta as many as 90 employees. Sampling in this study using the technique of total census or a questionnaire. The analysis tools are simple linear regression and multiple linear regretions. Based on these results it can be concluded that: (1) There is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction on employee productivity, (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture on employee productivity, (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational culture on employee productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta, and (4) There is a positive and significant relationship job satisfaction and organizational culture on employee productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta. The higher variable is job satisfaction. (5) Variable job satisfaction is the most dominant variable influence on employees productivity in Horison Apartemen and Condotel Yogyakarta. Abstract

The study will analyze the impact of tourism by the type of special interest tourism to the environment. Impact on the coast and islands, the impact on vegetation, the impact wildlife, and the impact on urban areas and rural areas. Positive impact on the coast and the island is the effort for preservation and conservation of coral reefs, reef fish, giant clams and turtles, and encouraged to make environmentallyfriendly tourism activities. The negative impact is a damage to coral reefs from snorkeling activities, and the loss of traditional land allotment to the beach. The positive impact on vegetation is their attempt to biodiversity and conservation of vegetation typical of Publications, and reforestation activities is to replant mangrove. Negative impacts on vegetation is illegal logging and the clearing of trees to increase tourist attraction as supporters of the main activities. commercialization of the plant for souvenirs. Positive impact on wildlife is their conservation, preservation, and biodiversity, the breeding of animals and relocating the animals to their natural habitat. The negative impact is going hunting animals as souvenirs and tourist consumption, harassment of wildlife photography, animal exploitation for pertujukan, changes in animal instincts, and the migration of animals. Positive impact on urban areas and rural areas is happening arrangement karimunjawa towns and villages, and their empowerment. The negative impact of pressure on the land for the opening of a new tourist attraction, there are exchange in the function of residential land into commercial land, and the occurrence of traffic congestion, noise pollution, air pollution, and pollution aesthetics. Abstract

Generation Z is the largest population in Indonesia. Many potentials can be explored from their behavior. The purpose of this study is to discover what the pattern of experiences before, during and after traveling from generation Z tourists in Yogyakarta tourism destinations. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with a sequential research design. Where the data will begin with quantitative in the form of questionnaires to generation Z tourists, then the results are confirmed by conducting interviews with tour guides, tour drivers, tourist attraction managers, tour and travel owners, the results are triangulated by conducting field observations, seeing the behavior of generation Z tourists at tourist attractions. The results found that psychocentric generation Z tourists have a pattern of Psychocentric Gen Z experience in Yogyakarta, starting with (1) dreaming, then (2) researching, (3) planning, (4) booking, (5) anticipating, (6) traveling to, (7) experiencing, (8) sharing, (9) remembering, and (10) evaluating.  Generation Z travelers who are allocentric have a pattern of (1) Researching. (2) traveling to Yogyakarta, (3) Enjoying traveling in Yogyakarta, (4) Enjoying the return trip, (5) sharing, (6) recalling tourism activities, and (7) evaluating. Meanwhile, midcentric generation Z tourists have an experience pattern of (1) dreaming, (2) researching (3) booking, (4) anticipating, (5) enjoying a trip to each tourist attraction. (6) Enjoying tourist activities at tourist attractions (7) sharing. (8) remembering, and (9) evaluating.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan wisata Goa Jepang di Kalurahan Seloharjo, Bantul merupakan kawasan yang sarat akan nilai sejarah, budaya dan keindahan alam. Namun demikian, kawasan ini juga memiliki beberapa tantangan signifikan terkait kebencanaan dalam pengembangan pariwisata. Pengelola serta masyarakat di sekitar kawasan wisata perlu membekali diri dengan pengetahuan kebencanaan agar dapat meminimalisir kerugian ketika terjadi bencana di masa mendatang. Pelatihan mitigasi bencana menjadi salah satu upaya preventif untuk membekali kelompok masyarakat terdampak dengan pengetahuan terkait kebencanaan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membentuk kelompok masyarakat yang tangguh bencana dan memiliki kemampuan mandiri dalam penanggulangan bencana. Metode yang digunakan dalam mencapai tujuan dari pelatihan ini yaitu metode ceramah dan diskusi kelompok di dalam kelas. Tahapan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu identifikasi kebutuhan, desain program, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi penilaian pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan adalah pemahaman Pokdarwis Seloharjo dan Kelompok Wanita Tani Ngentak terkait pengelolaan wisata ramah bencana melalui upaya mitigasi bencana. Pelatihan ini perlu ditindaklanjuti dengan fasilitasi teknologi tepat guna berupa sistem peringatan dini (early warning system) bencana yang dipasang di kawasan wisata Goa Jepang. Kata kunci: Mitigasi bencana; Pengembangan pariwisata; Pelatihan kebencanaan; Sistem peringatan dini; Wisata ramah bencana.ABSTRACT The Goa Jepang tourism area in Seloharjo sub-district, Bantul, consists of historical values, culture, and natural beauty. However, this area also faces some significant challenges related to disasters in tourism development. Managers and communities around the tourist area need to equip themselves with disaster knowledge to minimize losses when disasters occur in the future. Disaster mitigation training is one of the preventive efforts to equip affected community groups with disaster-related knowledge. This training aims to form disaster-resilient community groups and develop independent abilities in disaster management. The methods used in achieving the objectives of this training are lecture methods and group discussions in the classroom. The stages in this activity are needs identification, program design, implementation, and training assessment evaluation. The result of the training is the understanding of Pokdarwis Seloharjo and Ngentak Women Farmers Group regarding disasterfriendly tourism management through disaster mitigation efforts. This training needs to be followed up with the facilitation of appropriate technology in the form of a disaster early warning system installed in the Goa Jepang tourist area.
