Abstract

Since the advent of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, education has gained significant attention from academics and practitioners. The transformative initiatives introduced by Indonesia's Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim, have reshaped the educational landscape, particularly through the "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn) program. This qualitative study, utilizing a descriptive approach, investigates the use of assessments by school counselors (BK teachers) and their implementation in guidance and counseling services. The research involved 11 informants, including school principals, BK teachers, and students, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed following Miles & Huberman's methodology. Findings reveal that while BK teachers follow structured steps in using assessments, they face challenges such as the lack of standardized instruments, limited time, and inadequate technological integration. Despite these obstacles, BK teachers strive to improve their practices by effectively communicating assessment results, integrating technology, and implementing actionable insights. The study underscores the necessity for better resources and applications to support the effective use of assessments. Assessments are crucial for understanding students' strengths and needs, providing tailored guidance, and facilitating academic, social, and emotional development. This data-driven approach enhances early problem identification, informed interventions, and the development of students' unique potentials. The study concludes that effective assessment implementation, supported by a positive school environment and adequate resources, is vital for enhancing the quality of guidance and counseling services, ultimately contributing to improved educational outcomes and student well-being.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di fokuskan pada pengkajian Implementasi bimbingan dan konseling di SMP Negeri 14 Ambon. Permasalahan pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi bimbingan dan konseling dilakukan oleh konselor sekolah yang bertugas sebagai pemberi layanan di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapat dari observasi dan wawancara bersama kepala sekolah,  3 konselor sekolah dan 3 peserta didik. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan dengan merujuk pada Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, proses implementasi yang dilakukan oleh konselor sekolah mengenai pelaksanaan bimbingan dan konseling kepada peserta didik telah berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini ditandai dengan terlaksananya layanan dasar, layanan responsif, layanan perencanaan individual dan dukungan sistem. Namun ada beberapa kemampuan konselor yang belum maksimal dalam menjalankan pelayanan, diantaranya bimbingan teman sebaya dan pengembangan profesionalitas. Untuk itu konselor sekolah perlu terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan, seminar, workshop dan organisasi MGBK secara berkala guna meningkatkan kompetensi yang dimilikinya.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Big Data memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung sektor bisnis E-Commerce. Webinar dan Workshop yang diselenggarakan oleh Prodi Teknik Informatika Fakultas Teknik Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta memberikan pemahaman mendalam kepada peserta tentang konsep dasar AI, jenis-jenis AI, dan karakteristik Big Data. Melalui presentasi materi oleh Fikram Althaf Muyassar, Azhari Dauly, dan Muhammad Farizs Hakim, peserta dibimbing dalam implementasi AI dalam analisis Big Data dengan studi kasus di bidang E-Commerce menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python. Survei menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi terhadap efisiensi pemateri dan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terkait penggunaan Python dan implementasi Analisis Big Data untuk mendukung E-Commerce. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan konseptual dan keterampilan praktis kepada peserta, mendorong minat mereka untuk belajar lebih lanjut tentang Python dan Data Science.

Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan bencana alam yang sering terjadi di Indonesia akibat interaksi lempeng tektonik. Indonesia terletak pada pertemuan empat lempeng tektonik dunia, yang menyebabkan aktivitas zona tumbukan dan patahan yang berpotensi memicu gempa bumi. Meskipun telah terjadi sejumlah peristiwa gempa bumi besar di Indonesia, prediksi gempa secara tepat waktu masih sulit karena kompleksitas geologi dan dinamika kerak bumi. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang perilaku geologi dan sistem peringatan dini menjadi kunci dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi ancaman gempa bumi di masa mendatang. Data mining adalah proses yang berguna untuk mengeksplorasi dan mencari nilai informasi kompleks yang tersimpan dalam basis data. Dengan menggunakan data mining, dampak atau akibat dari gempa bumi yang terjadi di Indonesia dapat dipelajari berdasarkan data gempa bumi yang telah terjadi sebelumnya. Maka, dilakukanlah webinar dan workshop tentang penggunaan data mining untuk memahami pola gempa bumi di Indonesia selama 10 tahun terakhir. Webinar membahas dasar-dasar data mining dan fakta gempa yang terjadi di Indonesia, sementara workshop membahas pengolahan dan visualisasi data gempa bumi menggunakan bahasa Python dan Google Colab. Workshop ini terbatas pada pengolahan dan visualisasi data csv gempa bumi saja. Kegiatan webinar dan workshop dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Januari 2024 pukul 13.00 WIB. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta menyatakan kepuasan mereka terhadap acara tersebut, dengan sebagian besar peserta memberikan nilai positif terhadap penyampaian materi, kesesuaian materi dengan tema, kejelasan informasi, serta kualitas audio visual selama acara berlangsung.

Abstract

E-commerce adalah salah satu bagian yang paling terpenting dari internet. Saat ini dengan semakin pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan internet di indonesia, telah memiliki dampak yang besar terhadap perubahan bisnis. Yaitu mulai dari cara beriklan, cara jual beli, cara berinteraksi antar manusia, dan sebagainya. Dengan e-commerce telah banyak merubah dalam proses jual-beli. Perkembangan pengguna komputer sangat cepat serta didukung oleh sermakin terjangkaunya harga komputer serta semakin mudahnya penggunakan komputer semakin membuka peluang terbentuknya pasar digital. Prediksi churn pelanggan adalah strategi bisnis yang penting bagi perusahaan. Untuk mendapatkan pelanggan baru membutuhkan biaya yang jauh lebih tinggi daripada mempertahankan pelanggan yang sudah ada. prediksi churn dilakukan berdasarkan model prediksi churn yang telah dikembangkan pada penelitian terdahulu yang antara lain mencakup informasi mengenai pelanggan, metode pembayaran, data percakapan, data penggunaan jenis-jenis layanan telekomunikasi dan data yang menggambarkan perubahan perilaku penggunaan layanan telekomunikasi tersebut. Maka dari itu, Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta khususnya Program Studi Teknik Informatika memberikan peluang kepada mahasiswa dengan menyelenggarakan Webinar dan Workshop mengenai Prediction Churn Customer with Data Science terutama dalam aspek E – Commerce. Acara ini diselenggarakan secara daring melalui platfrom Zoom Conference dengan target peserta umum yang bertujuan agar mereka dapat memahami konsep dasar prediction churn customer pada e-commerce.

Abstract

In today's digital era, data has a crucial role in decision making. To increase public understanding, especially students, about Data Science, a webinar and online workshop titled “Python and Data Science: Building a Foundation with Practical Projects” through the Zoom Meeting Conference platform. This activity aims to provide a basic understanding of the concepts, benefits, and applications of Data Science in various industrial fields. Participants are invited to learn the use of Python in data analysis, and are given case study projects related to sales data analysis to apply the knowledge they have gained. This webinar and workshop activity was held on January 23, 2025, at 09.00 WIB which was attended by 40 participants from various institutions. The evaluation results show that participants expressed their satisfaction as indicated by the percentage of positive values in the feedback of 40% satisfied and 37% very satisfied with this activity.  In addition, there was an increase in participants' understanding of Data Science, with the Pre-Test average score increasing from 7.87% to 8.21% on the Post-Test.

Abstract

Chatbots powered by Generative AI have become a rapidly evolving technological innovation, enabling users to interact with AI-based systems in a more natural way. However, the implementation of these chatbots still faces many challenges, especially for beginners who lack a deep technical background. This study aims to develop a more accessible and understandable approach for those new to Generative AI. Through webinars and workshops, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of language models, the use of tools such as Google Colab, as well as various challenges and opportunities in AI chatbot development. Some of the main obstacles encountered included complex materials, limited access to data and computational resources, and varying levels of understanding among participants. Nevertheless, these activities provided beginners with the opportunity to grasp the basics of Generative AI and even develop their own chatbots. With a more practical and inclusive approach, this study contributes to introducing Generative AI-based chatbot technology to a broader audience. Evaluation results showed positive feedback from 77 participants from diverse backgrounds, with 51.9% stating they were very satisfied, 37.7% satisfied, and 10.4% neutral. Additionally, Pre-Test and Post-Test results indicated an improvement in participants' understanding of building simple chatbots. This initiative successfully provided a strong foundation for beginners to enter the field of Artificial Intelligence, particularly Generative AI

Abstract

This community engagement project aimed to enhance digital literacy by providing practical training on building online portfolios using Flowbite and Tailwind CSS. The initiative targeted students and beginners who lacked prior experience in creating web-based portfolios. Through a combination of webinars and hands-on workshops, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of portfolio design, User-Centered Design (UCD) principles, and modern UI development using Flowbite components. The project implemented a project-based learning approach to ensure both theoretical understanding and technical skills acquisition. The event was held virtually on July 14, 2025, and attended by 33 participants, with 21 actively engaged during the session. A pre-test and post-test were administered to evaluate learning outcomes. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with the average score increasing from 73.5 to 87. Additionally, 95% of participants expressed satisfaction with the training format and content. The program successfully equipped participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop responsive and aesthetically pleasing online portfolios, contributing to their personal branding efforts in the digital era.

Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem in schools as it affects mental health, learning motivation, and the educational climate. This phenomenon often occurs in physical, verbal, or psychological forms, and if left unaddressed, it can hinder students’ development. Therefore, concrete steps are needed to raise students’ understanding and awareness in preventing and handling bullying. This study aims to improve students’ understanding, awareness, and commitment to bullying prevention through the Stop Bullying Campaign at MAN 1 Central Maluku. The method included socialization, group discussions, and educational games, with evaluation using pre-test and post-test on 65 tenth-grade students. The results indicated significant improvements: understanding of bullying definitions increased from 43% to 92%, awareness of bullying types from 38% to 89%, awareness of its impacts from 46% to 94%, knowledge of reporting procedures from 34% to 88%, and prevention commitment from 54% to 97%. These findings confirm the effectiveness of the campaign in creating a safe, supportive, and bullying-free school environment.
