Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional and spiritual intelligence on the tendency to behave delinquently in adolescents. The subjects in this study were 70 students of class XI Bengkalis Senior High School which were determined using simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were 64 items of delinquency behavior scale, 35 items of emotional intelligence scale, and 55 items of spiritual intelligence scale. The results of statistical analysis using multiple regression analysis show that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence together (simultaneously) significantly influence delinquent behavior with F = 59.317 and sig. = 0.000 (p <0.05). Partial regression analysis also showed that emotional intelligence has a significant effect on the tendency of delinquent behavior with a value of t = 8.122 with a sig. value. = 0.000 (p <0.05). Likewise, the spiritual intelligence variable has a significant influence on the tendency of delinquent behavior with the value of t = 5.504 with the value of sig. = 0.000 (p <0.05). The effective contribution of emotional and spiritual intelligence to the tendency of delinquent behavior is 34.1%, while 65.9% is the influence of other factors not examined. Keywords : emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, delinquency   Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosi dan kecerdasan spiritual terhadap kecenderungan berperilaku delinkuen pada remaja. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 70 orang siswa-siswi kelas XI Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri (SMAN) 1 Bengkalis yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah 64 aitem skala perilaku delinkuen, 35 aitem skala kecerdasan emosi, dan 55 aitem skala kecerdasan spiritual. Hasil analisis statistik dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi dan kecerdasan spiritual secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perilaku delinkuen dengan nilai F = 59,317 dan sig, = 0,000 (p<0,05). Analisis regresi secara parsial juga menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosi berpengaruh secara sinifikan terhadap kecenderungan perilaku delinkuen dengan nilai t = 8,122 dengan nilai sig. = 0,000 (p<0,05). Begitu juga dengan variabel kecerdasan spiritual memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kecenderungan perilaku delinkuen dengan nilai t = 5,504 dengan nilai sig. = 0,000 (p<0,05). Adapun sumbangan efektif kecerdasan emosi dan spiritual terhadap kecenderungan perilaku delinkuen sebesar 34,1%, sedangkan 65,9% adalah pengaruh dari faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.  Kata kunci : kecerdasan emosi, kecerdasan spiritual, perilaku delinkuensi

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze Indonesian language learning media, find out how students are interested in reading, and the supporting and inhibiting factors for students' interest in reading. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The population of this study was class X at SMAN 1 Puloampel. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research subjects were teachers and students of class X SMAN 1 Puloampel. After analyzing the research results, it shows that students' interest in reading has decreased due to several factors such as internal factors and external factors. The presence of Indonesian language learning media in the learning process can increase students' interest in reading and improve learning text procedures.

Abstract

Culture shock merupakan respons psikologis yang umum dialami individu ketika menghadapi lingkungan sosial dan budaya yang berbeda secara signifikan. Mahasiswa asal Thailand yang melanjutkan studi di Indonesia sering mengalami tantangan dalam proses penyesuaian diri, yang dapat memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis dan keberhasilan akademik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi penanganan culture shock yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Thailand selama proses adaptasi budaya di Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode psikoedukasi dan intervensi kelompok sebagai bagian dari eksplorasi pengalaman subjek. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 35 mahasiswa Thailand, terdiri dari 20 perempuan dan 15 laki-laki. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan adaptasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh motivasi internal, dukungan sosial, dan keterbukaan terhadap budaya lokal. Mahasiswa yang aktif mencari informasi dan menjalin relasi dengan masyarakat sekitar menunjukkan kemampuan adaptasi yang lebih baik. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa strategi adaptasi yang efektif terhadap culture shock melibatkan kombinasi kesiapan psikologis, dukungan lingkungan, dan intervensi yang bersifat edukatif

Abstract

Salah satu fenomena yang menjadi perhatian dalam dunia Pendidikan adalah kekerasan antar siswa yang terjadi di sekolah. Factor yang mempengaruhi terlaksananya program Pendidikan di sekolah dengan benar. Apalagi sekolah sebagai wadah yang menampung beragam peserta didik dari berbagai latar belakang yang berbeda, hal ini memungkinkan mereka membawa berbagai permasalahan ke sekolah yang mengganggu kegiatan belajar. Guru memiliki peran strategis dalam mendidik siswa tentang nilai-nilai hukum dan etika digital. Sebagai pendidik, mereka dapat mengintegrasikan pembelajaran UU ITE ke dalam kurikulum, khususnya pada Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) atau Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdian memberikan penyuluhan hukum tentang Peran Guru dalam Memperkenalkan UU ITE sebagai Media Pembelajaran di MIN 3 ekanbaru. Metode penyuluhan hukum yang digunakan berupa metode ceramah disertai dengan PPT. Hasil pengabdian berupa penyuluhan hukum ini tim pengabdian berhasil memberikan pengetahuan kepada Guru di lingkungan MIN 3 Pekanbaru tentang UU ITE dan menjadi media pembelajaran kepada siswa di lingkungan MIN 3 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Indonesian version of the CIS using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). This research used an analytical approach and psychometric methods. Participants comprised 112 high school students aged 15 to 17 in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. CIS consists of 34 statement items with four subscales: attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction. Data analysis in Confirmatory Factor Analysis was carried out through Mplus  8.11 and SmartPLS. The results showed that CIS performed well on all psychometric indicators: CFI, TLI, RMSEA, outer loading, and AVE. The RMSEA value is 0.107 > 0.08, the CFI value is 0.710 < 0.90, the TLI value is 0.689 < 0.90, and the SRMR value is 0.098 > 0.08. All items and subscales in the motivation variable are valid with outer loading item values > 0.7 and AVE values > 0.5. Based on CFI and TLI, the CIS model is a good fit and can be accepted. Furthermore, the four dimensions or subscales of the CIS—namely, attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction—demonstrate adequate psychometric properties. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the Indonesian version of the CIS is a valid, reliable, and robust instrument for assessing motivation. The implication of this research is that educators can assess student motivation using the CIS instrument because it has been proven to be able to measure elements of motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate teacher engagement as a multidimensional, reflective construct comprising four dimensions: academic support, emotional support, guidance support, and assessment support. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey design using cluster sampling across four public senior high schools. A total of 1.359 eleventh-grade students from four public senior high schools in Pekanbaru participated by completing a 24-item questionnaire, which was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). This study used a reflective–reflective hierarchical component model, in which both the first-order dimensions and the second-order teacher engagement construct were specified as reflective. The results indicate that all indicators exhibited outer loading values above 0.70, and each dimension met the criteria for internal reliability and convergent validity, with an average variance extracted (AVE) of 0.573–0.639. Discriminant validity was also established based on the Fornell–Larcker criterion and the HTMT ratio. At the higher-order level, teacher engagement demonstrated excellent reliability, despite the AVE value being below the conventional threshold, a common outcome in reflective hierarchical models. All four dimensions contributed significantly to the higher-order construct, with emotional support emerging as the dominant component. These findings highlight that teacher engagement in the Indonesian context is perceived as a multidimensional phenomenon strongly shaped by teachers’ emotional and instructional support. The measurement model developed in this study provides a solid foundation for future research and the development of interventions to enhance teaching quality in schools.
