Abstract

Abstract

Speaking is one form of oral language activities. As a form of oral language, speech concerned with the expression of ideas and reasoning using spoken language that is supported by aspects nonkebahasaan (facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, etc.). Thus the speech is the activity of conveying the idea verbally using proper reasoning and utilizing nonkebahasaan aspects that can support the efficiency and effectiveness of the disclosure of the idea to the people in a particular event.

Abstract

Community service is done entitled "Training of Scientific Writing for Primary School Teachers 171 Kulim Tenaga Raya District". Scientific work is a scientific work formed in writing. Community devotion done to elementary school teachers because during this time they become obstacles is to make scientific work that has become the main requirement in promotion. Therefore, the teachers feel burdened with the requirements of the government because of this dedication is done so that teachers SDN 171 Kulim can do promotion and responsible in carrying out their duties as teachers, especially for elementary school teachers who are found in Kulim Kecamatan Tenayan Raya. The expected result after the dedication is done is the teachers of SDN 171 Kulim Tenaga Raya District has the ability and comprehension in writing scientific papers.

Community service is titled Introduction to Programming Lexical Malay Riau on Urban Village Community Limbungan Rumbai Coastal District of the city of Pekanbaru. The main problems faced by the partners are many variations of innovation lexical Malay Riau in Sub Limbungan District of Rumbai Coastal caused many Village community Limbungan District of Rumbai coastal city of Pekanbaru who married someone outside the village Limbungan District of Rumbai Coastal and go out or leave. The purpose of this devotion is through training on the introduction of lexical innovation, are expected to provide knowledge and understanding of innovation lexical variation in the Riau Malay Village community Limbungan Rumbai Coastal District of the city of Pekanbaru. Ibm Community activities carried out to villages in District Rumbai Limbungan and Coastal. The number of people who will participate in this training 20 people.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berjudul Pengenalan Inovasi Leksikal Bahasa Melayu Riau pada Masyarakat Kelurahan Limbungan Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah banyaknya terjadi variasi inovasi leksikal dalam Bahasa Melayu Riau di Kelurahan Limbungan Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir yang disebabkan banyaknya masyarakat Kelurahan Limbungan Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru yang menikah dengan orang yang diluar Kelurahan Limbungan Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir dan pergi keluar atau merantau. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah Melalui pelatihan tentang pengenalan inovasi leksikal, diharapkan mampu memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang variasi inovasi leksikal Bahasa Melayu Riau di lingkungan masyarakat Kelurahan Limbungan Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru. Kegiatan Ibm dilakukan kepada Masyarakat kelurahan Limbungan dan di Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir. Jumlah masyarakat yang akan mengikuti pelatihan ini 20 orang.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini berjudul “Pelatihan Penulisan Karya Ilmiah Bagi Guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Negeri 171 Kulim Kecamatan Tenayan Raya”. Karya ilmiah adalah berupa karya yang bersifat ilmiah yang dibentuk dalam penulisan. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan kepada guru-guru sekolah dasar karena selama ini yang menjadi kendala mereka adalah membuat karya ilmiah yang sudah menjadi persyaratan utama dalam kenaikan pangkat. Oleh karena itu, guru-guru merasa terbebankan dengan persyaratan pemerintahan tersebut karena itu pengabdian ini dilakukan agar guru-guru SDN 171 Kulim bisa melakukan kenaikan pangkat dan bertangung jawab dalam menjalankan tugasnya selaku guru khususnya bagi guru-guru tingkat sekolah dasar yang terdapat di Kulim Kecamatan Tenayan Raya. Hasil yang diharapkan setelah pengabdian ini dilakukan adalah guru-guru SDN 171 Kulim Kecamatan Tenayan Raya memiliki kemampuan dan kepahaman dalam menulis karya ilmiah.

Abstract

This study is entitled The Ability to Find Main Ideas in Paragraphs with the Scaffolded Reading Method Based on Student Reading Motivation in Class XI SMP Negeri 2 Balaraja. This research was motivated by: 1) the existence of various facts that show that students' reading comprehension ability and reading motivation are low; 2) The ability to find the main idea in a paragraph is very important in an effort to understand a reading text. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the motivation-based Scaffolded Reading method on improving the ability of student learning outcomes in finding the main idea in paragraphs. The research was conducted in class IX-C SMPN 2 Balaraja. The method used in research is an experimental method with a quantitative approach. After knowing the results of data analysis that the application of the scaffolded reading method is effective in improving the ability to find the main idea in paragraphs, then it is better in learning reading comprehension this technique.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of general guideline errors in Indonesian spelling contained in the fable compositions of class VII students of Daarul Muqimien Middle School, Sukadiri, in the 2019/2020 academic year. This researcher used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subject of this study was the fable texts of class VII students of Daarul Muqimien Middle School. The results of this study are as follows. First, the number of errors in the use of puebi contained in students' writing skills or compositions. The form of general guideline errors in Indonesian spelling (PUEBI) is divided into five aspects, namely errors in the use of capital letters, use of periods, use of commas, use of question marks, use of exclamation marks. From these five aspects, the following results were found; (1) errors in the use of capital letters as many as 47 cases of errors, (2) errors in the use of period punctuation as many as 21 cases of errors, (3) errors in the use of comma punctuation as many as 27 cases of errors, (4) errors in the use of question marks 6 cases of errors, (5) errors in the use of exclamation punctuation as many as 9 cases of errors. Second, From the percentage of errors, errors in the use of capital letters are the most dominant errors made by students, reaching 47 cases of errors. Furthermore, the least frequent error is the error in the use of question marks which reaches 6 cases of errors. From the results of the study, researchers can recommend an understanding of spelling and punctuation in learning so that this learning can improve student learning outcomes.
