Abstract

Majelis taklim is a non-formal institution recognized by the government. The existence of majelis taklim serves as one of the pillars in the development of Islamic education in society. The crucial role of majelis taklim certainly requires good management of its implementation. Therefore, this research aims to determine the management of Islamic education implementation in majelis taklim. This research uses majelis taklim Raudhatul Jannah in Kapuk, West Jakarta as its subject. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research instruments used are interviews and observations. The main respondent is the administrator of majelis taklim Raudhatul Jannah, with observation conducted for two months. The analysis conducted using the interactive model bya Miles and Huberman. The results show that the majelis taklim has fulfilled the elements and provisions stipulated in the Ministry of Religion Affairs Regulation number 29 of 2019. The management of administration uses on operational model. The teacher possesses adequate competencies in sufficient numbers. Activities take place not only mosque but also in classrooms and the homes of administrators and mentors. The teaching material focuses on learning the Qur’an with tajwid, recitation, and interpretation methods. Meanwhile, other materials use lectures, question and answer sessions, and practice with exercises for specific topic. This research finds that, in accordance with the standards set by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the management of majelis taklim implementation can be categorized as well-managed.

Abstract

Yayasan Satuasa Peduli Bangsa membina pelajar, pemuda dan mahasiswa dalam pendidikan serta keterampilan para remaja untuk memiliki wawasan luas, akhlak baik, mempunyai jiwa saing yang tinggi dan tidak ketinggalan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Komunikasi visual dan desain grafis banyak digunakan sebagai penyampaian materi pada pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan dengan mempelajari desain grafis akan mendapatkan banyak keuntungan dalam peningkatan skill yang ujung-ujungnya adalah peningkatan pendapatan. Mempelajari desain grafis seperti menciptakan promosi visual bukanlah keahlian sembarang orang. Aplikasi yang mudah dapat digunakan untuk pemula dan professional dalam desain grafil yaitu Canva dan draw.io, dimana tersedia tools desain dan animasi tanpa harus mendesain dari awal dan gratis. Pelatihan ini mempersiapkan masyarakat generasi muda agar dapat memahami dengan mudah dalam memperlajari desain grafis. Sehingga dengan adanya pelatihan ini menjadi suatu langkah dalam upaya menyebarkan informasi dan edukasi diharapkan dapat mempraktekkan sehingga tercipta lapangan pekerjaan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari persiapan dengan melakukan survey lokasi, pelaksanaan yaitu pelatihan aplikasi Canva, peserta dapat melakukan praktek secara langsung dengan menggunakan perangkat handphone atau komputer, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan melakukan tanya jawab dan diskusi dengan berbagi pengalaman, tahap akhir yaitu pembuatan laporan dan target luaran artikel di media cetak dan submit jurnal abdimas

Abstract

Al-Qur’an education for young children is important, especially for the development of children’s character. This research focuses on Al-Qur’an learning management at RA Al Akhyar, Cilandak, South Jakarta. The employed method is qualitative. The research data is interviewing results with the school principal as primary source data, supplemented by observations of the Al-Qur’an learning management at RA Al-Akhyar during 2022/23 academic years in March to May 2023. The research results show Al-Qur’an learning management at RA Al Akhyar is conducted systematically, involving teachers as implementers and the teacher council in policy-making. The curriculum at RA Al Akhyar is dynamic. Planning involves the modification of self-learning models through: (1) the use of storytelling methods, (2) teachers as role models to instill Al-Qur’an knowledge and values. The learning is conducted in an effective 30-minute duration and implements the planned learning model. The learning process also involves parents in activities that require guidance. Learning evaluation is conducted systematically with daily and end-of-semester records of learning. The final assessment takes into consideration not only the child's abilities but also the child's mental maturity in Quranic learning.

Abstract

Background: Majelis taklim holds significant potential for Arabic language education through the application of varied and adaptive methods. The combination of traditional and modern methods can enhance teaching effectiveness if accompanied by appropriate strategies to overcome challenges. Thus, majelis taklim can continue to serve as a relevant and high-quality center for Arabic language learning for the Muslim community. Purpose: This article examines the methods and approaches to teaching Arabic in majelis taklim.. Design and methods: A qualitative paradigm using literature reviews was chosen to understand how aspects of Arabic language teaching methods can be formulated to meet the needs of majelis taklim. Results: In majelis taklim, various teaching approaches are employed, both traditional and modern. The combination of these approaches, along with the development of teaching methods and content, aims to support Islamic education, including Arabic language instruction. The preparation of teaching materials considers participants' backgrounds, particularly their age, and integrates traditional and modern methods. Commonly used Arabic teaching methods in majelis taklim include lectures and discussions, the grammar-translation method, as well as repetition and memorization techniques. The implementation of these methods must be adapted to address challenges such as limited time, diverse participant backgrounds, and restricted access to modern learning resources.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the values of character education within the tradition of halal bi halal using a qualitative approach. The method employed is a literature review, analysing various sources related to the concept of character education and the halal bihalal tradition. As an analytical framework, this research uses Thomas Lickona’s concept of character education, which includes moral knowledge, moral feelings, and moral actions. The findings indicate that halal bihalal embodies strong moral values, such as tolerance, honesty, integrity, respect, and courtesy. This tradition also strengthens aspects of moral feelings, such as conscience awareness, self-respect, empathy, self-control, and humility, which encourage individuals to act in accordance with the moral values they have learned. Furthermore, halal bihalal fosters moral actions through practices of mutual cooperation and social solidarity, reflecting the importance of collaboration and togetherness in community life. Thus, the halal bihalal tradition is not merely an occasion for social gathering but also serves as an effective medium for character education, contributing to the development of a harmonious and cultured society. Therefore, efforts are needed to preserve and reinforce the character education values within this tradition to ensure its relevance in the modern era.

Abstract

Anak sebagai anugerah dalam Islam, membutuhkan perhatian dan tanggung jawab orang tua sejak awal kehidupan. Islam mengajarkan pentingnya peran orang tua dalam pemilihan pasangan, persiapan pernikahan, dan pendidikan anak sejak dalam kandungan. Orangtua memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam perkembangan anak dan peran mereka dalam menyosialisasikan serta merangsang kesadaran moral anak. Moral dan sikap orang tua mencerminkan nilai-nilai Islam, menekankan penghargaan, rasa hormat, dan kasih sayang. Perilaku orang tua memainkan peran kunci dalam membentuk karakter anak, memengaruhi perkembangan keseluruhan anak. Dalam menghadapi pendidikan anak, baik teori psikologi maupun ajaran Islam menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan efektif memerlukan beragam keterampilan, terutama responsivitas terhadap anak dan penanganan perilaku.Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa gaya pengasuhan yang efektif, sesuai dengan Islam, membentuk individu yang percaya diri, bertanggung jawab, dan memiliki regulasi diri yang kuat, mencerminkan keseimbangan antara prinsip-prinsip Islam dan kebutuhan perkembangan anak. Abstract

Kegiatan simpan pinjam di Koperasi XYZ yang masih dilakukan secara manual menyebabkan rendahnya efisiensi operasional dan risiko kesalahan pencatatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi simpan pinjam berbasis mobile supaya pengelolaan data menjadi lebih cepat, akurat, dan efisien. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan dengan metode waterfall, yang pada penelitian ini dilakukan tahapan requirements analysis hingga desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rancangan sistem informasi simpan pinjam berbasis mobile. Untuk mengetahui penerimaan pengguna, dilakukan survei terhadap 25 anggota dan karyawan Koperasi XYZ.Sistem memperoleh rata-rata skor sebesar 4.27 dari 5, dengan tingkat penerimaan pengguna mencapai 85%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa rancangan sistem sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan ekspektasi pengguna. Sistem ini masih memiliki ruang pengembangan, khususnya pada integrasi pembayaran elektronik dan fitur analisis keuangan. Sistem ini diharapkan bisa menjadi langkah awal bagi koperasi dalam beralih ke sistem digital, sekaligus membantu pengelolaan koperasi jadi lebih terbuka dan efisien.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited number of studies on Arabic language learning for early childhood at the Raudhatul Athfal (RA) level. The purpose of this study is to explore Arabic language teaching methods in RA, with a specific focus on RA Al Akhyar in South Jakarta. The research employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. The research subjects were selected through purposive sampling. The chosen sample is Raudhatul Athfal Al Akhyar, located in East Cilandak, South Jakarta. Data were collected using observation and interview instruments. To understand teaching practices, data analysis was carried out using thematic techniques, involving data reduction and categorization based on the applied teaching methods, which were then interpreted. The results indicate that Arabic language learning at RA Al Akhyar uses a contextual and joyful approach, as reflected in the materials, methods, and media utilized. The teaching emphasizes multisensory and experiential learning approaches. For evaluation, authentic assessment is applied. The findings also reveal challenges, particularly the slow response of some students. It is concluded that students show better understanding when learning is delivered in an interactive and enjoyable manner. Although the current practice aligns with early childhood education principles, strengthening the curriculum and providing teacher training are still needed to enhance the effectiveness of Arabic language instruction at RA Al Akhyar. This study contributes to filling the gap in discussions on Arabic language learning for early childhood, particularly within the RA context
