Abstract

The problem of this research is the movement of the lower serve in volleyball learning. This study aims to examine, analyze, and identify a significant effect of using foam ball media modification on basic lower serve movement skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental technique of the one-group pretest posttest design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling which amounted to 124 students. The population is the entire class with the research sample is class VIII. The results of research and data analysis show that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted, there is an average value of the research sample in the pretest and posttest scores increased by 86.78 from the initial service movement stage, core service movement and final service movement. Based on the results of the mean rank value of the pretest 63.37 and posttest 185.63, meaning that the posttest results are greater than the mann-whitney test pretest with the “test statistics” output, it is known that the Asymp .Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 < 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted and there is a significant difference in influence on the basic technical ability of volleyball lower serve.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the need to increase the knowledge of students who do not know about the rules of the game. The purpose of this study was to assess the level of student knowledge about badminton games. This study used a quantitative approach and survey method. The population amounted to 372 students, the technique of taking simple random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis carried out quantitative descriptive includes total value, range, average, standard deviation, minimum value and maximum value.  Based on the data obtained, it can be seen that the level of students' knowledge of badminton games in the “very good” category is 2.56% (5 students), the “good” category is 63.08% (123 students), the “sufficient” category is 21.54% (42 students), the “less” category is 3.59% (7 students), the “very less” category is 9.23% (18 students), thus obtaining an average value of 16.44% from a total of 20 questions. So it can be concluded that the overall level of student knowledge about badminton games is in the moderate category.

Abstract

Motivasi yang melatar belakangi penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji seberapa besar pengaruh game online mobile legend terhadap kesehatan mnetal peserta didik di SMPN 1 Kota Baru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif dengan teknik penelitian ex-post facto . Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Kota Baru pada tanggal 20 Mei 6 Juni 2022. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 1 Kota Baru berjumlah 427 orang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode pemeriksaan snowball sampling , terdiri dari 30 orang yang terdiri dari 21 pria dan 9 wanita. Instrumen menggunakan game angket online mobile legenddan kesehatan mental. Metode pemeriksaan yang digunakan dalam eksplorasi ini adalah persamaan regresi linier. Konsekuensi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sejauh mana sig. < 0,05 dan koefisien jaminan sebesar 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh permainan mobile legend online terhadap kesehatan mnetal peserta didik di SMPN 1 Kota Baru adalah sebesar 90,8% sedangkan 9,2% dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang berbeda. Kondisi yang ditetapkan adalah = 4.923 + 1.000 X, sehingga kesehatan mental peserta didik akan berkurang seiring kekuatan bermain game mobile legend meningkat sebesar 1.000.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji pengaruh model latihan ergometer terhadap hasil mendayung perahu rowing pada siswa ekstrakurikuler dayung di MA Nihayatul Amal Purwasari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode eksperimen, dengan jenis penelitian   eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimental design). Penelitian menggunakan bentuk one group pretest posttest design. Pelaksanaannya dalam 3 tahp yaitu prettest, treatment, dan posttest. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa ekstrakurikuler dayung yang berjumlah 20 dengan pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling siswa ektrakurikuler dayung yang erjumlah 8 siswa. Pengujian hipotesisi dilakukan dengan uji-T. Hasil pengujian hipotesis model latihan ergometer didapat waktu tes awal mean 586 detik (9’46”), standar deviasi 11.5, waktu minimum 602 detik (10’02”), dan maksimum 567 detik (9’27”) dan tes akhir mean 567 detik (9’27”), standar deviasi 9.58, waktu minimum 581 detik (9’41”), dan maksimum 551 detik (9’11”). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan data tes awal dan tes akhir dengan menggunakan pendekatan statistik uji-t kelompok metode latihan terpusat t hitung = 2.624 taraf nyata/signifikan α = 0,05 dan t tabel (1.895) dengan dk = 8 (1.895). Kriteria pengujian adalah, diterima jika – t l-1/2 α < t hitung< t l-1/2 α. Hal tersebut menunjukan hasil mendayung perahu rowing meningkat setelah menggunakan model latihan yang berbeda.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the skills of playing volleyball in the selection participants of the regional student sports week (POPDA). Descriptive quantitative research approach. This research method is a survey with a volleyball playing skills test. The population of all POPDA selection participants amounted to 172 people. The sample was taken with simple random sampling technique, totaling 120 people consisting of setter 30, libero 16, middle block 34, opposite 16, and outside hitter 34. The results of the study of volleyball playing skills of POPDA selection participants were in the "good enough" category as much as 45%. The skill of playing the setter position is in the "not good" category as much as 50%. The playing skills of the libero position are in the "good" and "good enough" categories as much as 38%. The skill of playing the middle block position is in the "good enough" category as much as 41%. The skill of playing the opposite position is in the "good enough" category as much as 38%. The skill of playing the outside hitter position is in the "good enough" category as much as 35%. The conclusion is that playing skills are a combination of basic techniques, tactics, and strategies, participants must improve basic techniques and also tactics and strategies need to be honed again.

Abstract

The problem with this research is that physical conditions are very low and there are differences in the physical conditions of students participating in volleyball extracurriculars. The aim of this research is to determine the level of physical condition and differences in the physical condition of female students who take part in extracurricular volleyball. The method in this research is a quantitative approach. Population 30 students of Man 3 and 22 SMAN 1. Determination of non-probability sampling using purpose sampling technique. The research instruments used in this research were tests and measurements of physical condition. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests. The research results showed that there was an average (mean) of 75.54 for MAN 3 and 78.23 for SMAN 1, with a difference of 2.72, and there was no significant difference between the physical conditions of female students who took part in extracurricular volleyball based on the results of data analysis. and test prerequisites. Having an average frequency distribution value with a class interval of 76-80 totaling 11 in the high category for MAN 3 Karawang and SMAN 1 Cabangbungin having an average frequency distribution value with a class interval of 73-78 totaling 8 in the low category. It was concluded that there was no significant difference between the physical conditions of female students who took part in volleyball extracurriculars.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the physical condition of students who take part in extracurricular volleyball at Pasundan Cilamaya Middle School. To answer the problem formulation that has been formulated, the author uses descriptive quantitative research, the method used in this research is parameter tests. This research was conducted at Pasundan Middle School by taking all the volleyball extracurricular athletes at Pasundan Middle School from classes VII, VIII and IX, totaling 24 people. The instrument used is a parameter test. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the physical condition of students who take part in extracurricular volleyball at Pasundan Cilamaya Middle School, the average results obtained from all students are, namely 2 people in the very low category, 4 people in the low category, 13 people in the medium category, 4 people in the high category, 1 person in the very high category. It can be concluded that the level of physical condition of students who take part in extracurricular volleyball at Pasundan Cilamaya Middle School is in the "Medium" category. Because students have just started training again and training at school and individually was stopped by the Covid pandemic, students experienced a drastic decline in their physical condition.

Abstract

Athletics education, especially in relay running at Santa Theresia Junior High School, faces problems of low student interest and technical mastery. This condition is caused by monotonous teaching methods that lack interaction and cooperation among students. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model in improving the relay running skills of eighth-grade students. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 46 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected through relay running skill tests in the pretest and posttest phases, then analyzed using a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 27 software. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in the average score, from 47.61 to 81.74, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). These findings indicate that the application of the TGT model effectively improves mastery of basic techniques, speed, and coordination in relay running. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the TGT type of cooperative learning model has a positive and significant effect on students' relay running abilities, while also increasing active involvement, teamwork, and learning motivation in the Physical Education, Sports, and Health learning process.
